The best way to defend is to attack. City/Liveepool/Arsenal might win 1 vs 2 and still look more comfortable than Manchester United or Chelsea when they win with the same score line. If your attackers don't make the opponent scared of bombing forward then, your defenders are in for it...

Aside that sef, the pressing structure of those three clubs won't even give you a chance to go upfield unlike Man u and Chelsea.

Structurally, something is wrong with those two clubs and until it's sorted out, they'll keep on conceding goals. I mean at a certain point when both of you played midweek, I was seeing donut formation.

Teams will always have hope when they can easily bypass the first press and Midfield

I won't make a case of Poch yet because individual errors or brainfarts has been our undoing most this season, this is not about the Sheffield game. Attack, midfield n defense will just down tools and the opposition will just run over us. Enzo n caciedo pairing is hardly working.
But Poch has raised our game, we've played the top 8 teams, even played some off the park till we started our usual gift..unlike last season we barely put in fights in games.
But you see this near misses, its more painful knowing that the other team will likely equalise.

Liverpool have 3 straight away games though. Fulham, West ham and Aston villa I think (they have long rest for this)

We're still at advantage except Liverpool start going on a crazy run of goalscoring consistently which I don't see happening.

White inverting didn't really help Saka because it put much load on him facing defenders as White couldn't overlap to assist.

I agree totally, our defense was much better with Kiwior than with Zinny. I can't say why, except that the stats prove so. Otherwise on paper, Zinny gives our midfield more control when he is inverting than when White is inverting. Yes with Kiwior it's a back four but not really so with Zinny.

Anyways let's see who starts against Bayern sha.

Arteta likes to over load the midfield with square shape and having Zinny inverting makes it easier. The other option playing Kiwior is that White would be inverting and that's not really desirable because of how he helps Saka in creating width on the right wing.

That said, I expect that we will attack Bayern at home and not defend.

White inverting really helped Saka cos it isolated him well. Zinny inverting helps the right.

We were defensively solid and attackingly good with that back four. Zinny shouldn't be starting.

Anyways I still expect a win but it's annoying seeing that we've a weaklink opposition coach is always targeting. Imagine RdZ switching Adingra because of Zinny
