Iwobi (green) vs Nwakali (blue)
Nwakali has found his match in terms of the shape of pentagon. Iwobi clearly beats Nwakali in 3 attributes. However, where Nwakali has an edge over Iwobi — defense and tactical — Yusuf and Onyedika both do better than Nwakali.
Iwobi (green) vs Aribo (blue) Similar shape in completeness. Aribo with the edge in defense only. Iwobi wins in the rest. Yusuf and Onyedika also beat Aribo in both defense and tactical attributes
Aribo (green) vs Nwakali (blue) Aribo has slight edge in attack and creativity. They tie in defense. Nwakali has a 9 point edge in Technique and 8 in Tactical attributes.
Disclaimer: The comparison takes into account players performances in different playing positions over a span of 2 years (can be adjusted in some cases), the leagues they played weighted accordingly. Hence, this comparison could be suggestive but not conclusive.

Based on Stats, for a more balanced midfield who are your top picks in the absence of Ndidi?
Here is Onyedika (green) VS: 1. Bonke (blue) Very similar shape in completeness. But Raphael has the edge in all indices. I’ve never ever fancied Bonke.
2. Onyeka (blue) Again, similar shape. Onyedika has an edge in all indices as well. Onyeka is better than Bonke in most of the indices.
3. Yusuf (blue) Similar shape, once again. Alhassan has the slight edge in all attributes but tie Onyedika in one.
4. Nwakali (blue) Different shape. So far in this analysis, you don’t want to start any 2 of the previous players that have similar shape in completeness. At this point Yusuf has the edge. Nwakali a good candidate to complement. Kelechi has the edge over Onyedika 7, 5 and 9 points in creativity, attack, technique respectively. Raphael thumps Nwakali in defense (9 points) and Tactics (4 points)
Now, wait for Iwobi vs Nwakali and Aribo

We need CB options. Let’s have them and pick our best. Modified If Ajayi is good enough, Ekpiteta probably is. We want even better CBs. But we have to try the available. This is Ajayi(green) vs Marvin(blue) Very similar players in completeness. The latter has the 7 point edge in defensive stats. charlesemeka85: yea I knw, not sold out on the blackpool cb though Jenz isn’t much better than him but the factor why I prefer the latter is that he is just 23 and has the tendency to get better. Playing for Celtic in the ucl/uel is a good platform to form a better player of his age

I had said we could go both routes charlesemeka85: and the nff shouldnt work hard in convincing him to play for us if he is really what jpes wants? At 23 he is yet to be capped by the Germans, a good pal of lorient’s hit man moffi, and been offered the opportunity to have a good international platform to showcase his talent with one of Africa’s most successful teams, so what made you think he will turn us down?
Even if he turns us down I see nothing wrong in reaching out to him again and who knows he may hv a change of heart much later and switch to us
Lookman is a good example |

I’m only saying Ekpiteta will be instant. The Celtic guy will need some convincing. We can go both routes charlesemeka85: so because he harbors the ambition to play for Germany means he shouldn’t be bothered about playing for us?
Balogun if offered a chance to play for the German national team wouldn’t hv blinked an eye on taking the offer. Same goes to lookman, aina, ekong, bassey etc
If the coach sees him as one to rebuild with I see nothing wrong in reaching out to him |

Competition among players is essential when rebuilding na charlesemeka85: my idea is for the future and as it stands the super eagles don’t hv any competition to play in until the next 2 years
So it will be ideal to rebuild with younger players for future purposes |

Owambe NFF chairman chrisooblog: 4.5 organization and kitting of the national teams improved under him.
Unfortunately for him football is all about success so based on that his tenure was very poor. Our national teams from age grade to senior level didn't win much. Even the ever reliable Falcons experienced a deep. Most of the coaches he appointed let him down.
League football is still so so.
Financially the NFF attracted a lot of sponsorship under Pinnick, but my hand on my heart I can't say if everything was judiciously used. |

National team is not club as regards selling players. You pick your best at every moment. Competition makes every player push to be better while playing for the country at every given time. Nobody knows what will happen in 4 years. charlesemeka85: yes I know but my reason of preferring Jenz is because he is younger and the plan should be building towards having a strong team for the 2024 afcon and 2026 World Cup
In the next 4 the blackpool player will be 31 and may hv dropped to league 1 or 2 while Jenz will be just 27 |

We do not have it at the moment. I will throw in makeshift Osayi for more competition. Subzero047: We still need a better RB than Aina |

Say you prefer Jenz, because we can have them both. Ekpiteta won’t need a switch though. Jenz seems he would be satisfied with a couple international caps with Germany. Go figure what that means. charlesemeka85: I will prefer to hv this guy in the current eagles set up than blackpool’s 27 year old ekpitite |

27 year old Dominic Iorfa in League 1. If he had chosen Nigeria back then it would have helped his career. We were in need of RBs at the time and he was a super regular in the Championship. |

Moritz Jenz ChrisKels: It wouldn't hurt to try to take our chances on this boy, considering he hasn't been capped by Germany at any level, neither is he gonna be considered by the Germans any time soon even though he is already 23. Our CB positions need urgent attention, so we ought to weigh every options.
Being a good friend of Moffi, I think Terem could play a big role in helping to sway him. Celtic fans say he is the true replacement of former Glasgow hitman, VVD. |

The problem is there is bias in the system. Selection is not strictly by merit. NFF will only hire coaches that will allow them to interfere. When Peseiro learns his lessons and wants to put his foot on the ground it would be too late. TheSuperNerd: Super Eagles List: Latest Update... Ozornwafor called up
