So you are okay with them showing this in your kids face again and again? Telling them it’s okay to change their gender etc. I’m surprised you left that part. I’ve had friends who had the position that they are just for gay rights. It only took a few years for me to find them out. JohnBullMySon: Next they do this and next they do that. The last thing "they" will do is what? Apocalypse I guess. I would be happy if you do a little research than continue saying what is so out of touch with reality. Most EU countries passed animal protection laws long after same-sex marriage laws were passed. Most of the laws banning zoophilia were passed in the 21st century. Canada passed theirs in 2019, almost fifteen years after same-sex marriage laws were passed. According to you, they should be accepting it next, but in reality, society is actually moving against zoophilia. You see how that your "next they do this and that" makes no sense? |

My brother nobody should be hated because of their sexual preference. However, na so e dey start. You are just fighting for people’s human right. Next thing the people when dey straight go come dey confuse because you put those things all in thier faces again and again. Now u see adverts on tv promoting same sex partnership. You want people to accept that it is okay and to consider doing it. The grand plan is to normalize it. Next thing they will argue animals body language while doing it does not indicate abuse. Next they will start to argue the correct age of consent. Na small small e dey start. My pastor go preach say e bad. No mincing words. But at the same time he go say love them like everyone else. Na so my Bible talk too. . JohnBullMySon: Abuse from a legal context is interpersonal. If I and my girlfriend decided to eat from our shoes, no one would think of sending us to jail over it. No matter how stupid it sounds. |

Yes indeed its a grand scheme. The small percent that run the world have always been into and onto something. They are now in the final stages of normalizing unnatural things. Modified And many people in Africa who idolize the West will ingest everything!small by small. Mujtahida: It's crazy. It's sinister. Give it more time. I just added my like. Make sure lots of monikers have seen it. Danielnino00: 11 likes and 16 shares...... I guess this concludes it.. Majority of the thread members don't want the award to take place..
On this note, I won't be organizing the award this year. However,if any moniker so wishes, he/she can go ahead and do it. I just really felt we should carry on with the tradition annually until it becomes a well recognized award.
Anyway, thank you all for giving me the privilege to organize it last year. Gracias!

For twist sake, let's do the flops of the year modified Or can we just do a Knocking on the Door award for SE? TheSuperNerd: I disagree with the emboldened...
Nigerian Football's True Glories may have started with the Super Eagles but it surely doesn't end with the Super Eagles.
We have national teams who did exceptionally well this year. We have players who dorned our jerseys and repped with distinction. Are we gonna ignore them just because the Super Eagles lost 5 friendlies in one year?
What about the fact that this same Super Eagles sit top of their Afcon Qualifiers group? We could lean a bit on that.
Now look at this, holistically... in 2022:
- Nigeria's U17 Golden Eaglets won the Wafu B Afcon Qualifiers tournament with distinction. We won all games. We have lads like Emmanuel Michael, Abubakar Abdullahi, Precious Williams, Richard Odoh (GK), Jibril Azeez, Raphael Oyebanjo, Basil Mbata, Ebube Okere, Ozor Okeke, Miracle Ogwor, Yahaya Lawali, Jeremiah Olaleke, Light Eke etc all in that squad of truly talented youngsters.
Are we not gonna recognise them?
- Nigeria's U20 Flying Eagles won the Wafu B Afcon Qualifiers Tournament as well. We won it unbeaten.
The squad includes impressively talented lads like Daniel Daga, Ibrahim Muhammed, Tolulope Ojo, Oluwatosin Adegbite, Nathaniel Nwosu (GK), Ahmed Abdullahi and a few more.
Are we not gonna recognise them?
- Nigeria’s Flamingoes won Bronze at the FIFA U17 WWC becoming the Second African side to bag a medal at that level. Impressive lasses like Opeyemi Ajakaye, Amina Bello, Edidiong Etim, Miracle Usani, Taiwo Afolabi, Faith Omilana (GK), etc.
Should we ignore them too??
- Our Super Falcons didn't win the Wafcon but we saw Asisat Oshoala earn a Ballon D'or Nomination and ranking this year. When was the last time a Nigerian player man or woman earned that?
I think we should go ahead with the NNFF Awards. We have feats and talents to recognise even in the midst of a bad year in general for the Super Eagles.

Moffi no join FB players. Our problem is coaching.. Any coach that takes over Nigeria also have to review past matches. By now we should have moved away from using the same tried and failed midfield combinations. And again, the defense needs a serious look in. Any new coach that comes without reviewing the past will start experimenting with the same players in the biggest leagues. At the moment the only department that we are okay is the Forward department.. The lack of balance overall is the problem.. I always had my reservations about Peseiro. Get a proven tactical coach who really understands where Nigeria is coming from and where we want to go. Mujtahida: This analysis is just too simplistic as a diagnosis of the problem of our team.
Super Eagles is poor because 90 percent of the players are FB(in you people's mind, FB make up 90% of the team). What sort of nursery school thinking is this? Ekong Aina Bassey Iwobi Aribo Ebuehi Maduka Lookman Moffi Ajayi Are FB players.
Moses Simon Iheanacho Osimhen Ndidi Onyeka Chukwueze Bonke Onuachu Uzoho Shehu Musa Awaziem Omeruo Are the Nigerian born players.
On a given day the team is a fairly balanced mix of both FB and NB. Yet it is the FB who are responsible for our poor footballing fortunes?
So if the team is made up 100% Nigerian players, we will bounce back? I really do not understand this kind of simplistic almost naive narrative.
The one unwavering factor for inclusion in the national team is quality. Not whether you belong to any of the categories of FB or NB.
Fact however is that for many years we realized that owing to the regression of our local teams, our best players are those who ply their trade abroad and even at that it is just basic common sense that you pick your best players from those who play in the best clubs in Europe and elsewhere(if they are the best) |

Either way he has one or two World Cups to go. When Southgate his gone, he will try England again. Daninya33:
Update: Tomori Should Abandon England, Consider Switching To Nigeria_ Babayaro Cries
Tomori was recently excluded from England's World Cup squad by Gareth Southgate despite his impressive for for club AC Milan.
Reacting to the snub, Super Eagles legend, Celestine Babayaro, has advised the player to switch his allegiance to Nigeria while he still has the chance. Fikayo has featured 2 times for the Three Lions despite 8 invitations.
"He is 24 year old and by the next World Cup he will be around 29," told owngoal Nigeria.
"That could work against him but if he wants to have a clear chance if going to the next World Cup, then he has to consider switching to Nigeria. He's still eligible going with the new rules," he concluded.
