Talking about Iorfa it seems he is more settled in the CB position as opposed to RB where he played most of the time in his early career.
komekn:
When he went toe to toe with Dominic Iorfa that waa the day l said he has ARRIVED.

He was able to bully Dominic for a header and score. That's when l said this small boy has arrived. I had been seeing him at City as one small lanky boy from age 13.

Small pikin don turn Man.

I agree Ejuke may not combine well with Aribo
Edopesin:
Good formation and I can imagine there will be a lot of passes in midfield, though I will prefer any one of Simon or Kalu for Ejuke

i think it's time to hit the ignore button. This type need deliverance grin
komekn:
You should be ashamed of yourself your views are retrogressive and backward.

These are the views and practices that have caused the stifling of our nations progression on all fronts.

These are myopic and damaging views upon which TRIBALISM, FAVORITISM, NEPOTISM, RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION are anchored upon.

You are the embodiment of the NIGERIAN PROBLEM.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 5:35pm On Jul 29, 2020
Of the whole lot of Nigerian players that have played for SE, how many do you consider successful in SE colors?
Now compare the fraction to that of those you consider English

IDENNAA:
The question should be how many English players succeeded in the Eagles.....lol
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 5:20pm On Jul 29, 2020
how many players came from the championship to the SE and disappointed?
Let me challenge your logic
IDENNAA:
Danger of a single story not danger of an isolated incident. Semi is just one guy.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 5:15pm On Jul 29, 2020
abeg make we no dey argue nonsense. It's now who discovered player A or B. The players sef no know you grin
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 5:12pm On Jul 29, 2020
you discovered them long. That's not provable. Mentioning them here first is no proof.

ChrisKels:
No you lied, Josh Maja was first mentioned here by no other than Supernerd, you were not here then, though

Joebie's post first had the name "Joe Aribo" on this thread

Like I said, the players you guys praise today we knew and discussed them long before now.

Hopefully, WhoScored will update
jihday:
Eze who isn't a Nigerian player have the Nigerian flag against his name while Ajayi who is a Nigerian international have the British flag against his name, why is that?

that's what you want to make it to seem
ChrisKels:
That was what your post suggested.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 4:40pm On Jul 29, 2020
How did I call him a liar from my response? You are telling a lie again
ChrisKels:
He just called you a liar, yet you are trying to defend the indefensible. Now let me burst ur brain, did you know that the first person that brought a post about Michael Olise to this thread was Sheyishemba on May 10 2019?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 4:40pm On Jul 29, 2020
So what's this argument about?
ChrisKels:
You were here in 2016? Did you follow our Olympic team where we discussed Aneke as a possible addition? Did you ever see Komekn as a moniker in that thread?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie:
Well I don't know if anyone mentioned him prior to my post as I don't read every page on this thread. But like I said the first to mention the player is not necessarily the first to know the player. No need for the apologies my bro!

Modified
From my search, it seems Charlesemeka85 was the first to mention his name on this thread. Then I followed days after.
sheyishemba:
I saw olise name first Time in one of your post that was when he made his first team apperance for Reading since then you have been following his develooment thought ya the one that unearthen him
sorry for the mistake in identity .

Same way Semi Ajayi was hyped that have owned one of that SE center-back position.
IDENNAA:

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 4:24pm On Jul 29, 2020
I didn't discover Olise. in fact, nobody can claim discovery of any player. One could be the first to mention the player here does not mean others never knew of such player before
sheyishemba:
I disagree with this .most of the players in championship and English descent player are first mention by komekn the likes of chuks aneke,Luke Amos ,onomah, eze, aribo I remember vividly when he told about maja's exploit in league one ,i could remember when he tagged Aribo "as Nigeria Patrick viera"(he was a DMF with similar play style ) and mind you no disrespect to the likes of supernerd they have done a great work unearthing this players .
lemme shock Michael olise was discovered by joebie.
lastly how many players have you unearthen here huh

I Agree

Edopesin:
Eze and Adarabioyo are more needed in the SE right now, And I really want to see a Ekong-Adarabioyo pairing... It's going to be crazy
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 1:13pm On Jul 29, 2020
Come to think of how Semi Ajayi got a chance in the SE and has never looked back. Eze and Adarabioyo will be massive additions. Even Onomah. I can remember Omeruo didn’t have a commanding presence in the Championship but still arguably our best CB in tournaments.

komekn:
Meanwhile they will say one is biased.

Now compare the obsessive fixation and over hype associated with Nwakali, who has done absolutely nothing for 5 years beyond U17 football.

Then l will be accused of favoritism towards Nigerian origin players in the UK.

It's hypocritical double-standard as well as unguarded prejudiced and negative bias towards Nigerian players not considered to be "homegrown" in the context of Nigerian football.
