Eberechi Eze will do his career a lot of good if he opts to play for Nigeria. He is the kind of player Nigeria needs not just because he is an AM but because of his skill set and how that fits into our philosophy. If he opts for England, it will be his loss as well as ours. He will not fulfill his FULL potential playing for England. My two cents. |
Now Trump dey commot, hope dey.. lol. As an independent, I vowed to vote him out but my baby boy had other better ideas. lol That said, do not see traveling out as a solution to the problems but an avenue to explore the world. Danielnino00: |
So let me announce to my well wishers that my bouncing baby boy was born on Nov 3rd thereby bouncing Trump from the white house ![]() |
When a white man tells you he doesn't care about money he is just in love with your country and the team he is building and you believe na your palava. Tell me who no like money? Wetin carry Rohr go Gabon?.. haha.. my people this is just for kicks. Enjoy!!!! |
We can make all the excuses we want but it's in actual tourneys and high profile games we get exposed. See you all during the AFCON qualifiers. |
See you all on Tuesday. I hope to see a better performance. |
Algeria vs Nigeria STARTING XI at the last AFCON and yesterday. What changed?
|
I was typing a long commentary on the aftermath of the Algeria match but changed my mind about posting it. I think we are too carried away with names and where they play. Names are important, but the big question is will Rohr and his coaching crew be able to do the main job of using different tactical formations depending on the opponent, and will they be able to harness the strength of the players and make them one solid unit? He says our strengths is playing with fast wingers. This can be nullified by disciplined opponents again and again. Is this team really growing? If so, how long will it take? Or maybe we will end up with just settling for Rohr building the foundation. The Algeria I saw today was better than the one I saw in last AFCON, or at least they dominated us more. I just hope we get better as time goes by. But I am afraid Rohr cannot give what he doesn't have. He brings an important managerial asset to the team, but there is still a big missing puzzle in the coaching crew. I don't see Yobo filling that void -- at least not in the next 2 years. Karlovich: |
Afobear soup don done |
I wasn’t frequent here for some days leading to that brouhaha. And that was for a reason. Secondly, I got a ban for a week even when I demanded to be banned for a longer time. The facts are there I won’t say more. I dey go crash. When I get back, I hope we talk SE only. ChrisKels: |
Thanks sir. Will try to respond to all when I wake later in the day. Will be working during the match. but trust I will be watching the match somehow lol. smartsmith0907: |
It can’t be only me Na. Who God no love? I am very happy for u too my brother. We dey here. Let the match begin already. But sleep is calling now somehow: |
You are thanking the mods for banning me for months abi? Haha ChrisKels: |
Ehen. Na the matter be that. Thank u. ChrisKels: |
Thank you sir. The promotion was delayed by the pandemic. But it came in miraculous ways. The things of God can’t be explained fully. Wishing you more than I wish myself sheyishemba: |
Thanks for the congratulatory message. You will achieve even more. That’s my prayer for you. edi287: |
ok. I will resist the urge to explain. Move on ChrisKels: |
It’s been very rewarding for me avoiding the negative energy here. Within the short time I’ve been away from here, I got a double (maybe triple or more) promotion at work. Firstly, I want to give Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all the glory. It was not by my power or ability. I owe it all to Him. For this, I’ve decided I will continue to avoid negativity, either coming from me, or someone else. The best way may be to keep interactions to the minimum. Which is why I will only be here on SE match days, when many people here head dey correct lol. |
I don show o! But I want ohwo soup with better dry fish. The original native flavor cooked in clay plate hahaha with starch komekn: |
Thank you sir! Melvinity: |
I have just one word for u. REPENT from your ways. That said, I hope this day will be a happy day for all of us on this thread. ChrisKels: |
Present sir! It’s D-day! A day to see who will pass the first test. If u dey play for club and u no fit show am for SE, what’s the point? I’m here to celebrate SE. let’s welcome the new boys and watch as the blending with the familiar faces continues. It’s a friendly. How we play will matter more than the outcome. However, I will take a win against this Mahrez-led team that caused us so much pain at the last AFCON. Anyway it goes, let’s cheer our team. Up Super Eagles!!! Utonwanne: |
no be u just call am world class elyte89: |
you don see my face now abi. but see u in October ![]() Danielnino00: |
I go try.. how thinz my bro? Edopesin: |
Na "The List" carry me come before October. Let me drop my two cents then I'll see u all in October to cheer our SE. Firstly, what I see in the GK department is encouraging. Although the trio may not be our best but it's long over due we tested more hands. Secondly, as regards the surprise absences of some FBs we all expected will make it, there are two things I want to say. Their absences may be due to their inability to secure a Nigerian Passport. But if this is not the case, that brings me to the second point. Courted foreign born players should not be automatically invited. Especially those when done do us yanga before. We need to make them feel like they need to earn a place. One disappointment or two will do the trick. Thirdly, with that young man from Austria making the list. it shows that Rohr is desperately looking for more midfield options. Let's hope that Tijani will turn out to be another Osimhen for Gernot Rohr. I'm okay with Onuachu's exclusion regardless of his fine form. The lad has not been able to bring that to the SE. Let's give him a break and reward Dessers for his fine showing last season. Dessers may be able to blend better with the team than the former. That said, let me return to serious work. modified. As per Musa, we all know how the matter be. Old glory things. Not to say he is finished yet. |
Una dooh o! Osimhen wado! Eze wado! Ejaria wado! Forumites una do well. I will be back active here again when international matches resume. I have loads of stuffs I’m working on. Semid4lyfe you don chop? Hahaha. |
There is no friendship bias sir. If you really want to apply such rules on Nairaland, oga you go tire for your work oh ![]() semid4lyfe: |
I'm just saying monikers wont get banned for saying such to other monikers. is the mod a god or what? Well I hope this is all a joke, because if it's serious then I repeat that mod needs to get a life. IDENNAA: |
What has this got to do with Nerd? I didn't follow everything. I am isolating an incidence. That quote by Andrew is not a big deal IDENNAA: |
Lol seriously? I think that mod needs to get a life. I can get banned too for eternity and I don’t give a damn. Edopesin: |
was the kind of insult against the NL policy? Edopesin: |
