Eberechi Eze will do his career a lot of good if he opts to play for Nigeria. He is the kind of player Nigeria needs not just because he is an AM but because of his skill set and how that fits into our philosophy. If he opts for England, it will be his loss as well as ours. He will not fulfill his FULL potential playing for England. My two cents.

Algeria vs Nigeria STARTING XI at the last AFCON and yesterday. What changed?

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 5:55am On Oct 10, 2020
I was typing a long commentary on the aftermath of the Algeria match but changed my mind about posting it. I think we are too carried away with names and where they play. Names are important, but the big question is will Rohr and his coaching crew be able to do the main job of using different tactical formations depending on the opponent, and will they be able to harness the strength of the players and make them one solid unit? He says our strengths is playing with fast wingers. This can be nullified by disciplined opponents again and again. Is this team really growing? If so, how long will it take? Or maybe we will end up with just settling for Rohr building the foundation. The Algeria I saw today was better than the one I saw in last AFCON, or at least they dominated us more. I just hope we get better as time goes by. But I am afraid Rohr cannot give what he doesn't have. He brings an important managerial asset to the team, but there is still a big missing puzzle in the coaching crew. I don't see Yobo filling that void -- at least not in the next 2 years.

Karlovich:
Hopefully before our game in November, the switch for players like Lookman and Ejaria will be complete, Rohr also needs to talk to Reading's Olise as well. We need as many good players as we can get

The real life is outside here, and if the way you behave here by always looking for a way to stand for evil, is your true nature, then, you are only deceiving yourself

It’s been very rewarding for me avoiding the negative energy here. Within the short time I’ve been away from here, I got a double (maybe triple or more) promotion at work. Firstly, I want to give Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all the glory. It was not by my power or ability. I owe it all to Him. For this, I’ve decided I will continue to avoid negativity, either coming from me, or someone else. The best way may be to keep interactions to the minimum. Which is why I will only be here on SE match days, when many people here head dey correct lol.

Present sir!
It’s D-day! A day to see who will pass the first test. If u dey play for club and u no fit show am for SE, what’s the point? I’m here to celebrate SE. let’s welcome the new boys and watch as the blending with the familiar faces continues. It’s a friendly. How we play will matter more than the outcome. However, I will take a win against this Mahrez-led team that caused us so much pain at the last AFCON. Anyway it goes, let’s cheer our team. Up Super Eagles!!!

Na "The List" carry me come before October. Let me drop my two cents then I'll see u all in October to cheer our SE.

Firstly, what I see in the GK department is encouraging. Although the trio may not be our best but it's long over due we tested more hands.

Secondly, as regards the surprise absences of some FBs we all expected will make it, there are two things I want to say. Their absences may be due to their inability to secure a Nigerian Passport. But if this is not the case, that brings me to the second point. Courted foreign born players should not be automatically invited. Especially those when done do us yanga before. We need to make them feel like they need to earn a place. One disappointment or two will do the trick.

Thirdly, with that young man from Austria making the list. it shows that Rohr is desperately looking for more midfield options. Let's hope that Tijani will turn out to be another Osimhen for Gernot Rohr.

I'm okay with Onuachu's exclusion regardless of his fine form. The lad has not been able to bring that to the SE. Let's give him a break and reward Dessers for his fine showing last season. Dessers may be able to blend better with the team than the former.

That said, let me return to serious work.

modified.
As per Musa, we all know how the matter be. Old glory things. Not to say he is finished yet.

I'm just saying monikers wont get banned for saying such to other monikers. is the mod a god or what? Well I hope this is all a joke, because if it's serious then I repeat that mod needs to get a life.

was the kind of insult against the NL policy?
Edopesin:
Well he let his annoyance get the better of him and he directly insulted a mod when some pea brained individuals were threatening to report any post that doesn't involve the SE, they probably expected him to cower at the mention of the mods but not everyone thinks like them
