Frank Onyeka with a goal and assist

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:28pm On Jul 17, 2020
Just yesterday, courtesy of Republika:

Umar Sadik, the Partizan striker, could continue his career in France, considering that besides Lila, Brest is also interested in him.

Sadik played a great season in Humska, where he scored 17 goals and assists in 39 games in all competitions. In addition to the French first leagues, clubs from Germany and Italy are also interested in him.
The money for the purchase of the Nigerian Brest could be collected from the sale of the attacker Irvin Cardone, and the French media speculate that it is a sum of 15 million euros.

Blueelf:
Any transfer news update on Sadiq of Partizan??

I am sure he will be courted by not a few clubs in Europe

This is why I was never excited bout his move to Belgium. I don't consider the Beligian league a good progression considering what he did in the Eredivisie last season. A bigger club in Netherlands would have been better or a move to France.
I'm not saying he is not a better player today but he is not new to the Jupiler Pro League.
Blueelf:
Will wait until he sarts doing it in the league

That's a modern day keeper right there. Very good with with both feet from what I see from that clip.

ChrisKels:
Forget Alambapasu, the real deal is Adebayo Adeleke of Katamon. Trust me you would mistake him for Onana

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGMD6XteiJY

He has great reflexes, good with crosses and corners, commands the box and kicks well with both feet. His distribution isn't bad either. Only downside is that Alampasu is taller, but he is miles ahead of Alampasu in quality.

QPR accept offer for Osayi-Samuel
By West London Sport 17/07/2020

QPR have accepted an offer from Club Brugge for Bright Osayi-Samuel.
West London Sport revealed in May that a bid from the Belgian outfit for Osayi-Samuel had been rejected.
However, negotiations resumed and Rangers have agreed to sell him in a deal worth around £4.7m.
QPR have refused to comment on the matter.
Osayi-Samuel has been told he is not included in the squad for Saturday’s game against Millwall.
The club recently took up an option to extend his contract, which was due to expire this summer, by a year.
Rangers hoped to tie him to a longer-term deal but have not persuaded him to re-sign.

See arrogance grin from Hon. Lucky Sunday Nkeki

“With all sense of modesty and no disrespect to other states in Nigeria, Delta State will continue to rule sports in the country. Be it in football, athletics, you name it for the next 30 to 50 years.
” I say this because “the policies, strategies and the facilities are all there to ensure the state continues to remain dominant in sports in the country.
” Again, it may also interest you to know that “Delta state has the highest number of sporting facilities in the country. We have close to 14 stadia in Oleh, Warri, Ughelli, Ogwashi Uku, Agbor, Asaba, Sapele, Ukwuani, Iselle Uku etc and these facilities are being used by our athletes.

” Then if you look at our records at previous competitions he continued, you will realise that it speaks volume. “We have won the last four editions of the National Sports Festival in Nigeria and if not for the Corona Virus pandemic we would have still won the Edo 2020 edition that was put on hold due to the restriction on sporting activities.

“The Youth Sports Festival that usually holds in Ilorin is our birthright. We have also won it four times and still counting.

“It’s our birthright in the sense that we have a programme, the Schools Sports Festival where we churn out all these talents.

“The programme is for secondary and primary schools in Delta. Luckily we have just finished the last edition before the lockdown started where a lot of talents were discovered”.

“For now, most of these talents are under scholarships from the state government at different levels, tertiary, secondary or primary schools”, he concluded.

Lille would have sold long in a heartbeat. Lille is not the issue.
BascoVanVeli:
I think everything has to do with lille. They are playing the market to make the most amount of money. Osimhen actually went to Napoli so I'm almost sure he wants to go there. He won't meet those people if he later planned to turn them down, that's just not in his character.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 2:40pm On Jul 17, 2020
Yes, there are 3 names penciled as plan B. Immobile is one of them.
TheLoneCitizen:
My thoughts also. Vic already agreed contract with Napoli.

New agent want big money. Napoli say no. New agent intimidate Napoli with English money. Napoli oblige. BOOM!

Why Osimhen change agent in middle of negotiation? Italian journalist already questioning his attitude and temperament.

Plan B is Ciro Immobile.

Agent Andrea D'Amico spoke to Radio Marte on the Victor Osimhen case in Naples and related negotiations.

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 2:10pm On Jul 17, 2020
Well the deal is not official. Osimhen's new agent is free to hold other talks. But I think it is just a strategy to get what they want from Napoli. Will Napoli eventually bulge or will they start to look in the direction of their plan B?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 2:07pm On Jul 17, 2020
The journalist Alfredo Pedullà, through his Twitter profile , expressed himself on the negotiation of Napoli and Osimhen. Also dwelling on the appearance of the agents of the tip of Lille.

“There are no scheduled visits with Napoli, it is not done. there are no signatures, the new agent takes time. The last 24 hours have not paid off, despite Lille's strategic announcements. "

“ Osimhen's new agent shuffled the cards he spoke to Liverpool and Manchester United. More with Liverpool. And he asked for time to Napoli who wanted / wants to close and who never planned visits ". We will see what will happen in the next few days. The deal between Osimhen and Napoli, however, does not yet seem clear ... ".

LIfe is full of twists. Somehow I had the feeling that this will become a drama.

Meanwhile,
Problems piling up for Osimhen and Napoli
By Football Italia staff

Napoli are refusing to increase the salary already agreed with Victor Osimhen’s previous agent, Lille reportedly reject Adam Ounas as part of the deal and Liverpool dive in with an offer.

Every time Osimhen seems to be close to a deal with the Partenopei, it all falls back into doubt, and today’s developments are just another chapter in the summer saga.

We already reported this morning on the row with Osimhen’s new agent over wages, as Napoli had already agreed €3.5-4m plus up to €2m in bonuses, whereas his latest representative promised to get €5m net per season along with add-ons.

Our sources tell us the issue of image rights have not been resolved either, and anyone with knowledge of Napoli transfer history will realise this is a sticking point that has tanked many a previous deal.

Now L’Equipe maintain that Lille are also not prepared to accept Ounas as part of the transfer fee, demanding the entire €81m in cash, which is frankly unlikely.

Due to the slowdown in negotiations over his salary, Osimhen’s agent also reportedly approached several Premier League clubs to ask if they would like to make a counter-offer.

Il Mattino newspaper point to Manchester United, but Sportitalia, Tuttomercatoweb and French sources maintain Liverpool are more interested.

Osimhen has done a Pepe.

The striker becomes the first player to net a Canadian classic treble, as well as the second Reds’ man to score at least twice in successive MLS ties
Two records tumbled for hat-trick hero Ayo Akinola as Toronto FC defeated Montreal Impact 4-3 in Thursday’s MLS is Back Tournament clash.

Having scored twice in the Reds’ 2-2 draw with DC United on Monday, the 20-year-old continued from there – finding the net thrice as Thierry Henry’s men were silenced in the seven-goal thriller.

At ESPN's Wide World of Sports complex, Richie Laryea opened the scoring in the eighth minute thanks to Alejandro Pozuelo’s assist.
