Musa Muhammed extends his allegiance until 2022! 06/16/2020. I feel great and I am pleased with the contract extension with the Club. This is another step forward in the continuation of our excellent cooperation so far, said Musa after signing a new two-year contract. The right defender joined the ranks of Gorica in the summer of 2018. So far, he has collected a total of 53 official appearances in the Gorica jersey, three of which in Croatian Football Cup matches. In the previous season, Musa scored one goal and recorded two assists. --hnk-gorica |

Ahmed Musa Proved Himself As A Passionate Sportsman By Commissioning A 500 Million Naira Sports Facility In Kano By Pereira Bimpe - June 17, 2020 https://www.sports247.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/1533321870_048181_1533322047_noticia_normal-640x360.jpg Ahmed Musa was born on the 14th day of October 1992 in Jos, Plateau state. He was born to his Father, Alhaji Musa (a polygamist) and his mother, Sarah Moses (second wife of his father). Being born in Jos, he is best described as a J-town boy (slang used to refer to males born in Jos, Nigeria) by Nigerians especially those who reside in his city of birth. The Nigerian international who is originally from Borno State, Nigeria (birthplace of his father) was single-handedly raised in Edo State, Nigeria by his mother (pictured below) following the death of his father when he was 7 years old. Consequently, Sarah Moses bore the full responsibility of Musa’s up-bring and that of his four sisters. The way Sarah Moses recalls, raising Young Musa and her four daughters would have been a piece of cake for Sarah Moses if her late husband were alive. He was a very generous man who took care of all his wives before he died.” She revealed to Sporting Life Fortunately, it didn’t take too long before Ahmed Musa (who is also the last born of his mother) stepped into his later father’s shoe and assumed the role of breadwinner for not just his immediate family but extended as well. A fact his mother can attest to her delight: “My son has been the breadwinner of the family and even our extended family members. He is taking good care of all of us.” Ahmed proved himself as a passionate sportsman by commissioning a 500 Million Naira sports facility in Kano on the 15th of June 2017. According to Ahmed, the facility is meant to bring standard state of the art training facilities to fellow passionate sports lovers. “People like football in Kano and they pay money to train in different places, so I thought that it would be good to have a standard place where all these people could have a good place to train, play football and relax.” In addition to promoting sports and ensuring youth support, Ahmed Musa is extremely involved in charity. Photos and Videos posted on his social media handle captures the Leicester Forward giving back (distributing money) to the community in the spirit of Ramadan. He has also helped secure freedom for no fewer than 40 children including young adults that were remanded in at the Taurey, Goron Dutse Prison Yard, Remands Home for Children and Kurmawa Prison all in Kano state. Not to mention distributing bag of rice to the needy. --sports247ng |
Rangers flop Umar Sadiq flattered by Manchester United interest – but says it’s not accidental Steve Goodman 17 Jun 2020, 12:15 RANGERS flop Umar Sadiq has revealed his joy at being scouted by Manchester United - and insisted he merits the Red Devils' interest. The Nigerian striker played at Ibrox during a loan spell in 2018, and was sent back to Roma after just four goalless appearances. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2020/06/NINTCHDBPICT000423767912-1-e1592392017643.jpg Sadiq was on loan at Rangers but the agreement was brought to an early end Credit: Willie Vass - The Sun Glasgow Sadiq has since revived his career with Partizan Belgrade, scoring 17 goals in 38 games this season. And a United scout watched him last week, when he set up Partizan's goal in a 1-0 Serbian Cup win over Red Star. Sadiq, 23, played in Partizan's two Europa League ties against United last autumn. He told Belgrade daily Republika: "Manchester United's interest is a big compliment for me as a player. "But, believe me, nothing is accidental. "Partizan have helped me a lot in my career. I found my way, and now I just follow what they ask of me. "I think this is just the beginning of my success, and the motivation is there. "We work thoroughly before every game. We don't only talk about tactics and video analysis, but also human relationships. "Whether it's the manager, Savo Milosevic, or someone else from the coaching staff, they are always there for us. "As for United, I think they were surprised by how we played against them in Belgrade. "They put out their best team, which tells you how much respect they had." |

Samu with a beastly assist. |

I've not insulted any player. Sadiq and Nwakaeme -- different circumstances I've highlighted. andrewbaba44: |
Ighalo will give us even better performances if his teammates can up their game. Edopesin: |
And as regards the Osimhen and Ighalo debate, even Osimhen will tell you he is still understudying Ighalo. Ighalo has performed in the EPL. Topped the goal scorers log at AFCON, and has shown that he can even play at the highest level for a clubside like Manchester. Osimhen is just one level below that. When he signs for a bigger club and performs then we can have the debate again. For me I'm okay with both of them starting ![]() |
Just managed to catch up with the last 6 or so pages on here. My take on the two major debates: 1. The relevance of Nwakaeme to SE While it is true that Nwakaeme deserves another chance he will have to wait for it considering these wingers he comes against: a. Samuel Kalu has been massive for SE. No national team coach will drop an already performing player for another player because of superior club stats alone, considering that Nwakaeme was given a chance before. We remember when Iheanacho was very impressive for SE and continued to get a look in despite not getting match time at the club level. Kalu is in that boat. And as longs as he keeps putting in a good shift for SE he will keep getting a call up, deservedly. b. Yes it is true Ahmed Musa had just come back from injury and has not had a considerable amount of minutes under his belt in Saudi Arabia, when he was recalled. Musa has been MIA for SE since the WC, I stand to be corrected, but seems to keep getting invited based on his captainship status. I trust Rohr to drop Musa eventually if he does not up his club and country game, like he did to KC in the past. But how long should we wait? c. Chidera Ejuke who has been getting more attention in the transfer market is an untested player in SE who suits the way Rohr likes to play from the wings. Chidera also has an impressive stats like Nwakaeme. Besides Ejuke there are wingers with superior performances considering their exploits in Europe. Olayinka and Dennis comes to mind. The latter players will likely get another look in before Nwakaeme because Rohr needs to see them playing more minutes to take a better look at them. For now, I will say Nwakaeme is doing the right thing. He knows that before he will get a second chance he will have to be convincing in Turkey. This must be the reason for his impressive performance. Every Nigerian player must work hard to get a look in. And when they get their chance they must make sure not to blow it. If Anderson Esiti had his second chance, Nwakaeme certainly will. It's only a matter of time. 2. Sadiq Umar's resurgence and the SE question. This argument is similar to the previous. But I will side with those who say Umar needs to be called up without delay for the sole reason that Paul Onuachu got a call up. Sadiq has far more to to offer SE than Onuachu can. Rohr once talked about Onuachu's height and the different option he can add to the front. Sadiq is all that and more. Onuchu has the fastest goal ever for SE and since then he has been an anonymous mouse. Sadiq proven and tested at the U23 level, and has been a lion in the lower league. I think Maja should not be hurried into SE. |
both Collins and Ehizibue were in the loosing side today. Games to forget. |
No long story. If K.Nwakali signs for a big club (na long thing)?and is consistent there, story go change. Let’s leave past glory. I said at present Adarabioyo cannot make SE considering his form finito komekn: |

few pages ago you assumed that i differed with you because I was bearing a grudge or whatever you were trying to imply. Now you are playing victim that someone got you banned. I wonder what stops you from creating a new moniker to argue your case. I didn't rain any abuses in your direction so nothing stops you from answering my posts. I advise others to stay out of the discussion and watch. So no excuses now. So many claims you made in your posts that has no factual backing. I'm waiting for you to prove it without resorting to calling names. It's as easy as that. elunico: |
Well there is no standard definition to it. But I would like you to ask the world class question as regards Ozil, and let' see if it would sound right. Else, it supports my position. benji93: |
The truth is Akpoguma dey use the guy get attention.. lol Edopesin: |
IF he starts playing for City, I definitely will. Same applies to any player now having a rough patch. K.Nwakali etc Like I said, if he commits to Nigeria today he will be down the pecking order in SE. That's the context of my original post. Modified, Certainly, Uduokhai, Torunarigha are players that would push for places if they commit today. komekn: |
Still waiting for Nwakali to take his bow. Huesca leading Malaga 3-1 away. |
na Getafe I dey support before..lol chrisooblog: |
