Very well said sir. The key word is competitive. That EPL is the most competitive league is not open to debate.
Kog45:
Yes you are right but Seville beating Man Utd happens in football so no big deal.

Sir, championship is better than Spanish segunda and overall EPL is more competitive than la liga though I still rate LA liga as the best due to exploit of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Let’s not make that conclusion too early. There will be more matches to play and we can pay particular attention to that aspect of his game as well

Blueelf:
He can't cross for shit. Not my choice fullback at all.

I hope we don't make the mistake of overhyping him here. He seems average at best

It’s okay. I don’t want to be drawn back to that issue. Many on this threaded have pleaded we should drop it. I’ve hugged Nerdie. It’s up to him to return the e-gesture lol.
TheGoodJoe:
You should get used to it. This is a public forum and this thread has lots of followers. Some might come back a day or two and scan to catch up with what went on in their absence.

So drawbacks in topics happen from time to time.

There is no animosity. This matter has died down since yesterday. What is his own now especially Nerdie himself has left the matter.
TheGoodJoe:
You can make your point without the animosity.

Who logs in and logs out of NL just to remain unnoticed on ghosmode? Who does that? EFCC dey nairaland dey find u?

profmathsland:
Before I finally go back to quiet mode, I want to drop that I observe the absence of Peter Olayinka. His team is playing now and still nothing on him. What's happening?
And Sadiq's side are losing right now. I don't think he is getting the send off he hoped for since news of his departure looks certain. I hope he can turn things around. Anyway, bye for now.

Go and sleep. This matter don die.
Nobody even quote u.

I am suspecting someone must be behind this moniker. Another childish stunt.

profmathsland:
You are right. But what's the need for this? TheSupernerd has been calm and dropping football updates since then and even left all these talks behind.
I, however want to point out something some choose to keep ignoring or haven't taken note of. I really prefer watching but I am also tempted to speak up when I feel something so obvious isn't being addressed. I don't bow to the temptation everytime but I now to this one.
I have noticed that the Joebie fellow always seem to bring into any recent confrontations with Mr. Nerdy, that situation concerning Nerdy's Mom being insulted and how he (nerdy) decided to react to it to send a message. It's almost like he enjoys people's moms getting insulted coz he keeps bringing it up. He did it sometime ago when Nerdy called him out on his Tammy bias and his giving so much attention to an English international on a Super Eagles thread. I think I also remember Nerdy claiming he changed his post relating to a reaction to a Tammy post to which Joebie initially denied and later admitted. That matter passed.
Now again, the fellow tries to make Nerdy look bad but apparently fails as Nerdy debunks his talks with a full video which I agree justifies his brief summary of what happens as regards Nwakali. What does he do again when the Nerd calls his actions childish and malice-driven? He brings up Nerdy's Mom again.
I am beginning to find that very repulsive and grossly immature. In short I might even say Pussy-like. Sorry. Just saying it as I feel it is.
I just feel I should point this out because I feel some here are just out to distract TheSupernerd lad from doing his thing.

Now, before I return to Ghostmode, let me add this. I used to have a thing for Nwakali but personally now, I'm just watching. He hasn't had a fine career progress generally so I am just basically indifferent to what he does now until I see some consistency. But I see nothing wrong in another trying to drop updates on the lad and focus on the positives of it.
I come here to get the best of Nigerian football news and I view gladly in Ghostmode appreciating what y'all do here and Mr.Nerdy is one moniker in here whose comments I love to read as his passion is never in doubt. TheGoodJoe, his good friend on here is another. His "Dad" Icons is another and a few others like Chris, Tbaba and even Forgiveness.
I think not everyone is bound to agree and I'm sure there are those here who got their favs but let us not distract from the main purpose of the thread so that the rest of us will keep enjoying what brings us here. That's all I wanted to add.

Ex-coaches reassure Genk: "Dessers has everything to become the chouchou"
Published: Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 9:15 AM

Cyriel Dessers will soon sign for four seasons at KRC Genk. Our compatriot became top scorer in the Eredivisie last season, but now also has to live up to it in the Jupiler Pro League. The ex-trainers of Dessers already believe in his abilities.

Peter Maes had Dessers make his debut in the highest class at Sporting Lokeren when he was nineteen. "A good head, eager to learn and very self-aware of his qualities, a huge asset as a deep striker. Such a boy, face to the goal, war in the sixteen: we don't have many in Belgium like that. If I bring in a player somewhere , certainly a young guest, that is with the feeling that he has potential in mind, "said Maes in Het Laatste Nieuws .

All-round goal machine De-bolting Dessers did all the way at NAC Breda, where Stijn Vreven was then the trainer. "I was hard on Cyriel, because I felt he could get very far. Then you have to hit and anoint sometimes. I put him on the bench for a while, but in the playoffs it was he who took us to the Eredivisie Dessers radiates pleasure at training and nothing is too much for him, but what I missed at the beginning was the urge to be the best every day. "

Vreven knows better than anyone what type of striker Dessers is. "Strong, fast, good footballing, decent head game. He had no weaknesses, but you felt that he could still make progress in all areas. He did that, you don't just become top scorer in the Netherlands. Dessers has everything to become the chouchou of Racing Genk. "

That's exactly my position when it comes to dealing with people in real life.
A true test of people's character is how they act towards those that have nothing to offer them.

komekn:
I am more concerned with people who have respect for thier fellow citizens irrespective of their socio- economic standing.

There many people show respect to thier parents and people the consider to have something to offer.

But dismiss anybody with total disdain and derogation that doesn't fit thier description of "happening" or something to offer.

Dude this is the internet. If a moniker does not know you personally on a faceless forum and you get all sensitive because they abused your mother they don't even know, then you have a problem. And if you go further to get mad at other monikers for not defending you, then you have a bigger problem taking it too personal. We are not in primary school or kindergarten when someone says your papa or your mama and then you start to act up. get a skin. To start with he called me childish, so recalling that event is very appropriate.

if you want to know people who have respect for their parents, then get to know them personally in real life.

Meliforme:
Mr Joebie,

TheSupernerd's respect for his mother was remarkable, and his respect for all mothers was made evident by his grievance when he sensed lack of a widespread censure. Mr Joebie, using this particular instance against TheSupernerd is not healthy, and if this is your basis for calling him a child, then i won't be ashamed to be identified as a child, because I have a lot of honour for my mothers.

it gets immature when the name calling and abuses starts. there are a few guys here who would never go that route, and I respect them more than anything. there was a time I always chose to ignore him, but man he has not toned it down. If that stops I will have no issue with him -- liking and sharing his post every now and then.

you don't need much words and explanation. Just post his original post, and it says it all.

Danielnino00:
This thing happened like 2 years ago..

Why did you have to bring it up ??

I personally don't buy this Nwakali hype because the guy is just finding his feet and I know Nerdy to be classic hype man, but his post was clear enough.... Nwakali'a pass to the right wing helped produce the goal for Huessca, simple...

Honestly, speaking, Nerd throws shades but dude is always well behaved and respectful until they came calling. Very cunny and crafty but decent and I can live with that. Nevertheless, it doesnt change the fact that some persons here cant stand the Nerd...I know this and I have seen it. For instance, many forumite have engaged in this online bickering but those who disagree with Nerd has a special way of addressing it.

Nerdie has probably thrown more insults at people here than anyone has. Even at me. So your accusations is unfounded.

IDENNAA:
Pass-less Ndidi, did you think I was born yesterday ? I have watched many here throwing shots at the guy accusing him of feeling "******"

However, I know what the problem is.

Nerdie made a sarcastic invitation at the end of that original post, so I had to wade in. Gladly, had I not equally posted a similar highlight of Zaragoza vs Almeria their lies that I was hiding Nwakali's contribution, would have flew. Did Nwakali make a cameo? Yes he did! if someone needs me to break down the stats or his ratings, I gladly will. Granted, Nwakali is just returning. He will need time and hopefully he fulfills his potential. But please let's say it as it is.
