Ukraine coach Andriy Shevchenko has called up twenty-four players for the upcoming European Championship qualifier against Lithuania and friendly with three-time Africa champions Nigeria.

Of the 24 players called up for preparation and participation in the games, three are on the books of British clubs including Andriy Yarmolenko (West Ham), Oleksandr Zinchenko (Manchester City) and Maryan Shved (Celtic).

An analysis of the roster revealed that three goalkeepers, eight defenders, eleven midfielders and two strikers have been invited by manager Andriy Shevchenko.

Yevhen Shakhov, Sergey Sidorchuk, Nikolay Shaparenko and Artem Besedin have been placed on standby.

First of all it depends on what you define MAKING IT too mean.

How many players have been given huge accolades at youth level and never made it. Too many to mention, that's why l am not a fan of giving accolades to youth players who haven't achieved anything. At best indicative but not conclusive.

There is a big difference to youth players playing first team football and making it like Ryan Ssegnon, etc.

Do you remember Rabui Ibrahim everything was said about him the next JJay, etc, etc But where is he now.

Rohr has a particular reason for keeping tabs on okoye since all this years... This is not a matter of playing time... This maybe due to his talented.. Coz Rohr that I know can't invite player from a low league and won't still perform. Jamil Collins comes to my mind alot of critics came as a result of his invitation.. But look at him.. Tomori has already played Chelsea 2 games this season ,the Epl and the Uefa super cup ,this alone has to tell us great things ahead this season for tomori
