Any player we should be considering should be ready before the next round of games. They must be ready to be integrated immediately and commit through the WC qualifiers.

komekn:
You are picking out players who are unproven but showing potential and are just starting their careers.

I would have picked out Tim lroegbunam and Chukwuemka Carney at Everton and Chelsea respectively. Both exceptional player's in the premier league but Tim restricted by injury but recovering and Carney by senior international top players ahead of him at Chelsea.

What do you think ❓

Any foreign manager would be tubu tubu mess am at this point. I wanted Saintfeit because he has knowledge of our team and is passionate about handling SE. Looked him up, and he has a pretty good record with many teams he has handled considering they are not big teams. But Mali has since appointed him.

chrisooblog:
Sounds articulate and looks like he has a plan but in the words of the great philosopher Mike Tyson everyone has a plan until you get hit in the face.

But in all seriousness if we're strategic I would put him in a assistant position behind a foreign manager with him eventually to take over. Just think now might be too soon due to lack of experience.

NFF will go foreign. Expect the likes of Labbadia and co..

Kog45:
Michael Nsien just said what we have been saying here...we don't dominate play even against Africa minnows, our Afcon style of play expose us more, yes we reached final.......well I will not appoint Nsien based on his experience so far, eagles is too big,I will rather go for Amunike than Nsien but if NFF technical department believes he can do it,no wahala, results will prove every coach right or wrong

lol Messi no follow Guardiola?
Eguavoen can never surprise me.
Goke7:
May just be a kind gesture and sportsmanship after winning afcon.

The Ivorians winning afcon was just a flash in the pan nothing exceptional from any of their players and even after afcon

Despite how exceptional some of our players were this season our own coach still went and vote for messi. Honestly it shows the level of awareness of the coaches.

Well speaking of this edition

Best goal is voted for by fans

I think best XI is by players.

Danielnino00:
In 2017 or thereabout, the best XI was voted by fans...it was a disaster.... North African players from their local clubs dominated the list...

CAF need to make the voting more balanced.... But leave the fans out of it abeg...
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:54pm On Dec 16, 2024
seems the best XI is only voted for by players
JayromWrites:
It's , almost 2025 and I still don't understand how someone wins best Goalkeeper in the tournament but can't make the best eleven
