I didn’t know o.. abi where did natural hair trend start from? grin
At least you could pick on something from my post to defend.

safarigirl:
half of my school uses afrohair wigs. They even have the hairband that looks like an afro.

Most Nigerian girls are going natural, it is the latest trend. It's quite expensive, that is the only thing discouraging more from throwing away their relaxers.

How you guys don't know that is beyond me, abi are you strictly talking about the black girls abroad?

Usman Mohammed, of Rio 2016 fame, on his wonder goal vs Atletico

https://scorenigeria.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/usman-mohammed-800.jpg

“My goal is a message (for Super Eagles coach Gernot to call me up), every day I am pushing to play for Super Eagles,” said the 24-year-old Sarpsborg 08 ace, who incidentally was observing the Muslim fasting during the game.

“I’m so excited to be back with the national team.

“I will always be available for my country.” He told SCORENigeria his self-belief was behind his brilliant solo goal.

“It was my self-belief,” he explained.

“One of my coaches always told me not to be in a hurry when I’m with the ball inside the box.

“I have scored goals like this even in Europe and I was so confident I could do it again.”

Eagles debutant Chinedu Ajanah reveals what Fernando Torres told him

https://scorenigeria.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/ajanah-etc-800.jpg

Katsina United central defender Chinedu Ajanah has told ScoreNigeria.com.ng he will forever cherish the words of encouragement he got from the legendary Atletico Madrid star Fernando Torres.
Ajanah made his international debut against Torres for the Super Eagles ‘B’ team in the friendly against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night in Uyo which ended 3-2 in favour of the top Spanish club.
“He encouraged me to keep it up, he told me I am young, talented and I have a promising career ahead of me.” Ajanah told ScoreNigeria.com.ng
“I am excited to have played against a player like Fernando Torres because I have been watching him since I was kid.
“I never knew I will ever play against him on the same pitch, talk less of marking him in a game.
“It was an honour to play against such a fantastic player.”

Truly I wasn’t quoting u to come at u. I was just making sure I was well understood. Really I want people to read that post and start to ask themselves questions. I wasnt trying to score points. I have nothing against her.

That baby is pale looking grin
TheSuperNerd:
I know Safari was kidding when I saw her initial posts on this complexion thing. Then when I also saw yours, I also took it as just light banter... Didn't even finish reading all... So I took you both as kidding and just having small light talk. So me no even Carry anything for mind when giving Safari my thoughts. Anyway, that's by the way....

So uhmmm...

Wow... Really? You are lighter than him below? cheesy
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 2:53pm On May 23, 2018
Lol it’s for everyone’s reading as well. I’m even lighter than that your baby meme lol so u see I never took her post personal.

TheSuperNerd:
Loolll... But Sir Joebie... I no even carry you for mind sef when I dey discuss with Safari... Na she quote me, then she made a comment which I picked up and talk began. I no even reason you sef...

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 2:41pm On May 23, 2018
Lol cool down my bro. Me i’m not even that dark relatively speaking. I don’t just entertain the thought of me considered as better than someone darker than me. I mean it both ways. Trust me I didn’t take her post personal. But I asked a salient question, and this is not directed to her. It’s directed to every black, esp Nigerians. If someone JOKED that some dark girl has seen another girl (a fair skinned girl) she is better than, would it seem out of place? Pause to ponder, then u will know where I’m coming from. There are many things we believe as a people that need to be changed.
The other day my mother-in-law was pressing my baby’s nose as if to make it pointed. I had to question it.
I believe we have afrohair wigs out there, how many blacks are putting them on?

You see where I’m coming from? I know it’s just a harmless joke. But I’m questioning why we have such kind of joke as a people.

TheSuperNerd:
Lol... it is people Safari dear. People and sometimes a variant of human nature. Sometimes even when they get you, they want you to write an essay "proving" and "showing" beyond every reasonable doubt that what you said is not how they see it. Na so some be.. just bear with them. lol

Kai that drink, na beer abi na mineral? I salute u!!!!

kennysville:
I am tempted to say his persistent rants is probably the reason Kayode got dropped from the squad. Its not impossible. For instance, how are we sure that those close to the national team are not on this thread? What if Gernot Rohr himself is just an unregistered observer on this thread? There is no way to monitor who is viewing this thread if all we look out for is just the names of monikers online only.

Sentiments apart, I love Kayode. But it looks like frustration has already set in to his game. I recall when Forgiveness used his hand to type that even if Kayode scores1000 goals, he wont be at the world cup. And true to his words, he wont be. Question is when he knew all these, why is he still ranting? Why is he acting like he is shocked and disappointed?
If the bible says the expectation of the "righteous" ( and trust me, he and Komekn are very righteous) shall not be cut off, why the petulance? The things we say or think are very weighty. They reveal who we are. I am so sure the stakeholders are here on this thread. You may just not know.

So if you are an agent and you want to market your player, learn from these folks how not to go about player hyping or coercion down the throats of authorities...... My opinion.

Disclaimer: I dont hold any brief for Rohr or NFF or the coaching crew of the Super Eagles. The views above are strictly my opinions. You dont like it, then I am sorry you dont. You should open a bottle of Green Sands Shandy and take wash it down.

I won’t lie, what impressed me most about “team c” is their passes. They stringed good passes and showed understanding on the pitch. We can’t take that away from them. We don’t expect anything less from our Team A.

Nigerian teams must learn to make their opponents sweat to score.

LaLiga was in view in the comparison. Anyway, I retract my statement. Rohr deemed him good enough, and should any of Lokosa, Simmy, or Ighalo get injured, he’ll be the first to get a phone call.

forgiveness:
I thought two faced double standard fellows claimed he only made MOTM. grin

Now, na Rohr deemed him not enough. grin

How good do you want a player that made player of the month instantly with the likes of Taison and Fred in contention?

They are even going to the world Cup? grin

Now, Which chance did Rohr give?

safarigirl:
he isn't too dark. It was a joke, I am explaining further because you have made up your mind that I have something against dark people which is a lie

Tomorrow, I will say another thing and that comment will be irrelevant. I hate being misunderstood, I say it here all the time, yet I am constantly misunderstood.

Sorry if anyone was offended

But like I said, it would he funny if I said it in person, rather than if you read it. You can only understand it as you are reading and that is hardly a way to judge anything.

I hate that you of all people are misunderstanding me.

Kayode already got his chance and Rohr deemed him not good enough to make the 30 man list. Stop the crying. At least Kayode is young and can still fight another day. Let’s wait for Rohr’s final verdict on K.Nwakali post-Russia, and watch him grab it with both hands.

Modified
Eduok who scored 7 goals in the Turkish top flight last season was on the pitch yesterday. How did he perform? When u get ir chance u want the coach to remember u in his next invitation.

forgiveness:
Kelechi Nwakali was not a flop so tey he was demoted to a lowly second division b ecause no descent club in a decent league saw exceptional ability, right?

At least, Kayode made the team of the week and was still noticed by a lowly second division 2 club, ooo Sorry, Shakhtar Donetsk with the likes of Taison and Fred going to the world Cup. grin

How can a flop player be noticed by such lowly club? grin

These Arsenal people really believe that there is power in names. Or are these coincidences?

First, Arsene —Arsenal
Now, Emery —> Emirates

TheSuperNerd:
So Arsenal have finally confirmed Unai Emery as their new coach....

What are Iwobi's chances like in Emery's reign?

Anyway, I believe a great WC for Iwobi will make Emery take early notice of him before he even returns to The emirates to meet his new manager.

Kai Kayode was never a flop at Girona na cuz he won 1 MOTM. Wetin be the real criteria sef? Oya forgiveness just agree Kayode was a flop at LaLiga. Then we can now say he same about K.Nwakali.. No “double standards”

andrew444:
At least as a mieldfielder he played 9 games and scored 1 goal, but your brother kayode who is a striker played 12 games for girona and scored 0 goals,I am yet to see when you will call him a flop.

That’s just in ur head — preconceived. We’ve had foreign borns who have given their all even till this day. We’ve also had home grown that have been less committed in the past and even now.

M
goldfish80:
First of all, they have the desire and passion to play for the team much more than a guy you go cap in hand and roll the red carpet for. And for reference purposes, I will like that Enyimba left back given a chance to fight for the left back position while Aina moves over to the rich back to slug it out with Ebuehi, then Shehu takes over from Ogu. Aina has hoofed and puffed in the left back position so far in his super eagles career. While Idowu's body language smarks the ambiance of a guy who is not in this for the long run. I say this because he often looks isolated and cold socially among the group. Maybe, I'm thinking too much but this is just my observation so far.
