Alampasu is now ahead of Akpeyi. And you know what that means. Icon79: He's simply not good enough. He makes basic elementary school errors that makes me wanna scratch my head.

All these years as a professional and he is still shaky.. me i no understand oh. His positioning before that second goal was poor. Granted we left spaces at the rear. Icon79: I have never trusted that guy. I don't know what some folks see in him. Even my high school goalkeeper is miles ahead of him.

Don't underestimate teams like Croatia -- very unpredictable Icon79: I think you guys are still misunderstanding what I was trying to say. I was just responding to the claim that we have always started slowly in all our games. That claim is not accurate because we have started very well in certain games even if we didn't score early.
Secondly, you guys are making an assumption that Zambia, Cameroun, and Algeria are not tactically good teams? Are you aware that we're the only team that Zambia lost to in the whole qualifiers? Same with Cameroun! And by the way, this same Cameroun team went to the Confed Cup and they were not disgraced. Please let's not write them off because they lost to us, they are a pretty decent team.
Listen, there are only 3 countries that I am worried about in Russia: Brazil, Germany, and Argentina (if they can get it together). As per France, Belgium, and the other countries .... let them bring it on!

lol Kayode has to work hard in camp. And when he gets his chance, even if na cameo, make he seize am. How did u like Onyekuru's game against Algeria? forgiveness: Hahaha! I single handedly spareheaded this campaign some years ago na. |

haha.. I had written an article on this, showing I had done this research long before now.. Read what you posted very carefully, maybe you will see how this does not support what you have been saying. The national team losing it's identity is based on earlier tradition. Secondly, it's got nothing to do with stalling the development of the MLS (that was never implied from this write-up) gerrit? Modified I now see that you have challenges in research and comprehension. You are concluding that during Klinsmann's reign, the MLS suffered. Can u give me a list of American players that went abroad if we must consider player export a benchmark in measuring how good a league is? How about the influx of foreign players to the MLS? Did Klinsmann discourage it?  goldfish80: Isn't it better you kept mute on a topic you obviously know very little about? Exerpts from Tim Howard ;
Please indulge due diligence if you want to engage me. Dont make the mistake to think I make wild and unverifiable comments just for the sake of arguments. cc Mujtahida |

 forgiveness: Interesting. But the question is why must he start Kelechi if he already knows his ability? If Kayode is played for only 20 minutes then I know there's an hidden agenda against him because I do not why he invited him in the first and not play him. |

A ROUGH SPORTS DEVELOPMENT PLAN | Joebie
Federal Government side approach
1. The FG has to revisit all national stadiums. Award contracts for rehabilitation AND maintenance. On maintenance contracts, this will be renewable every quarter. Before the contract is extended, videos and pictures of the venue during matches/events should be scrutinized on a monthly basis to ensure that the standard of the facility is consistent. A special inspection unit should also go to the stadium and take pictures and videos of facilities in the stadium for additional evidence, which will be compared to the event videos and pics. Contract should be awarded to a new maintenance company should the original company fail to maintain acceptable standards.
2. The FG through the ministry of youth and sports in collaboration with the ministry of education should ensure that all FG owned universities have sporting facilities and equipment to revitalize university games. The same aforementioned maintenance standard of inspection should be employed here. 3. All FG owned university should have a primary and secondary school. 4. Students in the secondary schools should have access to the sports facilities in the university daily. Secondary school students should have an extra hour everyday dedicated to different sports based on demonstrated talent. 5. Federal Government University competition should be held in a yearly basis, at the secondary and tertiary levels. Parents with talented children should also demonstrate need in other to get talent based and need based scholarships. Every university will want to present the best competitors for the yearly competition, so it will be expected that selection will be handled with diligence. 6. Coaching clinics administered by expatriates should be held for Sports instructors. Trainings should include how to spot a talent and develop them. 7. By doing the above, school games will be attractive and corporate bodies will want to be involved in sponsoring yearly competitions. Every school will want to recruit the best because of the monetary benefit that it will bring.
