A good thing to take away is that the players have understanding of how Finidi wants them to play. They just need to maintain the tempo then improve on how they played that second half, then let’s hope we get all the points left. just a few changes in the playing personnel, we are good to go.

In the future I would like to see Elijah and Akpom added to the fray. Cant wait for the return of Zaidu, Ekong and Ola Aina. Ogbu and Ndah should get a look in. Taminu for me is not good at advancing play. Doesn’t suit the style we want to play. Could be a back up though when we want to switch gears.. Iheanacho should sort out his club issues and stay off for now. Isaac Success maybe should get a look in.

However I agree with you. For Onuachu to thrive the wings must be well oiled for low crosses/cutbacks. The right wing had Iheanacho and Tanimu, square pegs in round holes.

The most shocking thing I read here yesterday was some peeps mentioning Jose Peseiro. Like was he not the one who drew the first two matches? Fisayo is very attack minded with goals to show. The perfect replacement for Aribo, until the latter gets back to form
Yusuf is a different player entirely, but I would rather have a fit Onyeka.

If you can make time to rewatch that match. Then you can compare. I know bashiru scored but his overall work is where am talking about. If u observe the way Alhassan plays, he drives forward a lot. His passes show the intents. All I sha know is we need to get it right in the middle of the park for us to have hopes of winning matches.... otherwise it's gonna be huff and puff

bros SA is currently on 4pts, they won 1, lost 1 and drew 1…so if they win Zim they will be on 7pts, while if we beat Benin we will be on 8pts…na that lesotho be the issue now…make lesotho and Rwanda jus draw or make Rwanda beat lesotho to climb to 7points while lesotho remains on 5pts.
But all the same i will prefer lesotho to beat Rwanda and climb to 8points if SE can beat Benin

What baffles me is that some of us see people like Onuachu and Sadiq as viable striking options. Personally, I don't consider them as even fit to wear our jersey.

If you have watched Super Eagles for a long time, you will know instantly when you see a player that is not SE material.

Even if he was that good, introducing him in the QFs is a bad idea.. That Taminu guy you see how he dey play.. Too composed to a fault
