This Tammy matter will definitely go our way. But the only problem I see with this utterances is that it would make England go back to the drawing board and formulate a system of ensuring they win future wars - I guess they are already on it.

The LMC is working, but all hands must be on deck. It's not the best league in the Africa but at least we are seeing sincere efforts.

But let's not make it seem like nothing good has ever come from the league. Even up till now there are still some good news, here and there.

Hopefully next year we will all get to see the games live. That will make all involved in the league to be exposed to public scrutiny.

I agree a bit with Baba Ilori (forgiveness) on his assessment of the NPFL...
No sentiments here the NPFL is becoming a huge joke.. Its hard to believe that this league of our was once the best in Africa that produced the likes of Kanu Okocha Yekinki Findi George Taribo West..etc...

The new management of the LMC ate really trying but the bigger problem lies with the club management.. In this new age majority of clubs in the NPFL are still owned by ghr government.. There's always issue of delay in payment of salary,match fixing,hooliganism and no transparency in transfer activities..

Unless we wake up and restructure the league we will keep losing out going talents to foreign clubs and it will eventually affect the nation team....

I've never subscribed to that idea that we lost to SA because of those missing players. No be the same SA Cape Verde dey beat home and away?
Even our CHAN team with intense preparation can give SA problems. However, I'm not taking anything away from them. They prepared well for us and they executed. They deserved the win.

@Bolded. That's very true.. Rohr,the players and we the fans really underrated SA. Our defeat to them had little to do with the absence of our key players..We just didn't take them serious enough...


But against Zambia,the players know what's at stake.. They know what a world cup appearance will add to their career.... No room for mistake at all.

I remembered how we missed the nations cup under Siasia.

South Africans boasted a lot too prior to that match.. But what happened on the field had nothing to do with what the fans did or thought.

One thing i know for sure. I did not hear of Rohr studying videos of South Africa before that match. I didn't read of any intensity as regards studying the opponents. All we had were friendlies.

Meaning they know their team already. But 14 is too small. meaning 11 players and the 3 substitutes. A minimum of 18 should ok.
