Why is Ayo Oritsejafor silent?!!!
You guys want to bring ayo into all this now, when all these things were playing out,the man condemned it,gave press conferences and interviews dissociating pfn with all these carnage.
Why not ask the state govt who are responible for these kids and supposedly took the matter to court,

What idiots like you have refused to understand is that these guys are first and foremost Humans before being tagged M.O.G. they have the characteristics of humans also and they arent super heros and neither will they be christ. so actually, it isnt out of place if Ayo suddenly goes insane for few minutes or so. I still insist that it was very foolish decision of his to regard another foolish.

O yes, buhari wanted peeps to protect their votes and he didnt hide his disgust for election riggers that has been having a free day without being caught and prosecuted all these while. If those statements made by his lieutenants were strong enough to ascribe the violence that were perpetrated to him is left for the court of law to decide and not for Ayo to be yarning dust. The government has all the details and i wonder what is stopping them to act till now. The best he would have said by virtue of his position is to call on govt to fish out all instigators and prosecute them but he was giving names. Nairalanders giving names is acceptable and allowed but not CAN or PFN president. Honestly, that is a daft move.

From your insinuation above, buhari gave his marching orders to his army (almajiris) to forment trouble right? you are likewise dumb to insinuate such. Like father (G.O. )like son. Even GEJ in his dumb state wont even think likewise and that explains why Buhari is still at home enjoying his retirement in daura till date.
obviously u are even dumber to even have an iota of respite for that beast called buhari,i dont know where you live but i loss relatives in the last mayhem, dont let the 'i am no currupt, honest man' syndrome decieve you, buhari is a bigot,an islamist,a fundamentalist,a southern nigeria hater, and i'm loving it daily with the simple thought he will never be president, nigeria and nigerians would never allow people like that rule us again.
Ofcourse after planning and making good his genocide,he has returned to his abode in daura or kd untouched, simply because people like you are so naive, daft, cowardly to look the man in the face and call his bluff,no he has so cast a spell on you,and when a fearless servant of God stands up to him,you begin to open your gutter spitin sh.it
Politics / Re: Emir Tongue Lashes Vice President Over Lateness To Palace by joecrack(m): 2:18pm On May 25, 2011
I've said my own for the umpteenth time, the emir did made a flaw by his actions, this was just a move to send some kind of message, obviously they see sambo as a light weight and an outsider(they say his father migrated from auchi).would he have done this to atiku while he was vp,hell no,let him dare and see if contracts wont be cut off from his family,by the way what was he doing, its not like he is busy person

may God forgive you for having the audacity to call a man of God foolish.obviously you are the one who is foolish if u think buhari had no hand in this, hardly before elections commenced he was on air telling the whole world ballot papers and boxes were been flown even without evidences, during his campaigns,he told his supporters to lynch anyone found rigging,as if we a banana rep with no laws, imagine the kind of comments coming from someone who wants to be president.
How could illiterates with barely nothing organised themselves within 24hrs with deadly weapons to terrorise people,hw was it that spontaneous that it happened in so many states at the same time, ask yourself, there was a grand plan and the general gave the marching order.

didn't u read in the story that security agents are looking at possible connection as to who bailed the accused and funded her trip to london.

@jason123
really govs in the SS are really not disappointing,go to akwa ibom see transformation, rivers state have got the best puclic school system in nigeria, cross river leads in tourism, with calabar being the cleanest and most organised state capitals, edo, delta and bayelsa are also performing, only they are nt very much into publicity but like i earlier said it is their job and they are nt doing us a favour
Politics / Re: What Is The Big Deal About Fashola? Nonsense! by joecrack(m): 4:42pm On May 24, 2011
Well in saner and civilized democracies where accountability and good governance is key the man is really not doing anything extra ordinary,in fact he would still be criticised for so many other things he has not fixed.
But in comparison to nigeria, and looking at where we are coming from,we actually have to give the man kudos cuz he has broken away from the norm, though all the publicity is overhyped, but there are evidences to show.
Some other govs are also doing well, last time i was in gombe for instance,i was impressed with goje,he's also done quite alot with lean resources at his disposal.
Bottom line lets endeavour to hold our leaders accountable, and well praise them if u like for doing well, and i think fash response to his election victory is very instructive and should be a point of reference for public office holders"the reward for hardwork is more hardwork"
it sucks when you some govs shouting i've done this and that, when its simple you just collected funds from FG and assembled projects, really nt a hard job for any true graduate.

@1025
you amuse me pretty funny, the north clinching power and not giving it back.
Perhaps the last election did nt ring bells loud enough in ur ears,as far as we keep voting along religious and ethnic lines, then no part of the country can lay claim to the presidency like a birthright.
The myth of monolithic north has been broken, the middle belters are wiser.
Politics / Re: Emir Tongue Lashes Vice President Over Lateness To Palace by joecrack(m): 11:51am On May 24, 2011

This.

The Emir is the traditional head of a group of people, it is not a transient post like the Vice Presidency.

The Emir is a revered figure in Kano. Nobody in Nigeria would have any reverence for the VP.

Finally, it isn't about authority. It is about respect for people and even the President himself is bound to respect the citizenry. keeping an elderly man waiting for over 3 hours is rude to the extreme. Ony sycophants and butt kissers will not see this as such.
apparently you were not aware his palace was almost burnt during the last crisis.for me i believe he was trying to assuage the almajiris, humiliating the man to make look like he is nt down with the gej govt.
We all know late coming is not good, but here we have the VP on a visit to commission/inspect projects,so many unforseen things would have happened delaying him,the simple and civilised thing to do was reprimand him in private or via proxy, not in the full glare of the world(strongly believe pressmen with cameras where there),this is not only about sambo, but this is a dent on the office of the VP.

Google it and you will see it.

Christiandom today is a very large and big 'organisation' with everybody doing his own thing.some 'so called' pentecostal pastors might be involved in some terrible things, its only normal, there would always be wolfs, the bible prophecied it.but the upright ones would still stand forth proclaiming Gods standard, and i humbly say ayo is amogst the upright ones

When i saw thir story on SR i took it with a pinch of salt cuz i know they are anti-gej,and besides i cant really depend on a news source all the way from newyork to feed me with news about nigeria, and for those of u saying the govt slashed it cuz SR had reported it,i think its unbelievable. We run a govt(democratic),they would have come out to state the figures.
Well,i may be a gej apologist but believe me i aint down with this, whether 830m or 1.3b,its still too much and not necessary, who ever said a simple swearing-in inside aso rock would make heavens fall.richer nations in europe are cutting spendings, we are here celebrating in abject poverty and decay.

How can u leave out brilliant chaps like diezani and aganga, these 2 represent the best brains gej has got in his present cabinet.Politically, they might not be savvy, but they sure are hardworking and are development conscious,it would be sad if he drops them, which is much unlikely.these are all newspaper speculations.

Bayero might be emir,he might be old enough to be sambo's father but he has to respect the office of vp,these insults were uncalled for,he came late to ur palace,so what,he may have been stalked somewhere performing important state functions. The best the emir would have done was to express his displeasure in private, call him or send someone to him. These acts sends wrong signals

can u pls give us a better alternative
gej is president whether u like it not, well he belongs to party of hawks that have decieved and dashed hopes over the years.majority votes said they voted for the man and not his party, the man has given stories and promises(like his predesesors did),whats wrong if we nw decide to hold him accountable by tracking his policies.

Kanana:

Oritsejafor needs to learn from the immediate past CAN president. The office is meant to foster unity among the various faiths and not to aggravate the situation.
past can presidents were lame ducks who did nothing and instead were preaching forgiveness thats why this impunity was recurring. In oritsejafor we have a 'violent' man who would speak forth and defend the rights of xtians without fear.
Politics / Re: Monstrous Powers Of The Sgf by joecrack(m): 8:39am On May 24, 2011
The office is quite a powerful one with enormous responsibilities and powers,i think the onus rests on whoever would occupy it.
I mean in comparison to the US,everybody knows clinton as the secratary of state(our own sgf),i know some might say she is famous and powerful cuz she was first lady, senator and she contested for president, but we all can still remember collin powell, condoleza rice etc.but most people dont know who is the senate president or speaker of the US.
But basically, office should be about service, experience has shown us in this nation, where people who have occupied offices as high as presidency cannot show us anything for it,eg obj.Go to the north, with all the no of heads of states, ministers etc see poverty everywhere.

are u really nigerian cuz all u r trying to do is sow seeds of discords here with all these ur baseless jargons.who ever told u ijaws or idomas were nt killed in the last post election crises, well for ijaw,i can partly take sides with u thats because they are nt very plenty up north, yet few deaths cannot be overuled, but the idomas were very much affected cuz a large amount of them leave up north.
You are trying to paint a picture of selected violence against the yorubas when in essence the people who suffer the most from these crises are the ibos.
And ur analysis on the geographic zones of nigeria, pls can someone tell him this is 2011 and not the 50's or early 60's,cuz the geographic zones are into 6-NE,NW,NC,SW,SE,SS.

hope i did nt make a mistake voting gej, hope all my efforts coercing my neighbours, friends and family members to vote gej would nt be in vain.
Following recent happenings in the past weeks have got me thinking, though it would nt be fair to begin to cast aspertions,i think the time is not ripe yet.
Well, all these names bandied about are speculations and for nw we should treat them as such.nigerian press are very notorious with gossips, heresays, and sensations.

Whats our biz if u think the core north are using u guys, after dinning and enjoying oil largesse from them, you are now crying wolf.two of ur people gowon and ibb av been head of state, you guys have been compensated with large chunk of ur people in the military and civil service,so pls what is ur point.I clearly dont see why you should be that sad,the last election clearly shows the middle belt have got its own voice and can make choices of its own, with the overwhelming support for gej, they have been able to break the skewed concept of monolitical north and a good choice they have made.
