Business To Business / Re: Kindle Direct Publishing: How Many Pages Should My Book Be? ANSWERED. by joeeee240(m): 9:54am On Aug 07, 2019
iLegendd:
Continuation of your questions...

5. Is book publishing hard?

Answer

No and yes. Your first 5 months is hard without a mentor. But after that, it's no longer hard when you understand the business and master keyword research.

6. I can't write, so what should I do?

Answer

Outsource to a good freelancer to write for you.

7. I don't have money or a laptop, so what should I do?

Answer

Stupid question of a lazy animal. Then give up and go back to your village to stay with you village people — idiot. Instead of you to say, "I'll look for a way to get money and get started, you're here saying you don't have money."

8. Please, will you teach me how to do it?

Answer

No, I won't.

Use Google or YouTube. Or, higher a mentor — it's not cheap, but worth it.

9. Is this business profitable? If yes, what topic should I write on?

Answer

Yes, it's profitable if you understand the key things like:

A) Keyword research
B) Best categories to put your book
C) Great content
D) Simple, yet catchy cover
E) Great description with copywriting technique
G) Branding
H) Amazon ads (optional)
I) Writing/outsourcing more books
J) Tips and techniques to stay ahead of other publishers

10. How do I fill the tax form?

Answer

As a Nigerian, your country does not have a tax treaty with the US, so you'll pay 30% tax from your 60% royalties. It's easy. Visit this link https://www.wetclef.com/topic592.html to see how easy it is.

11. How do I get paid?

Answer

Open a Payoneer account via https://payoneer.com and they'll give you a virtual account. Use the account details they'll generate and head back to KDP dashboard to fill it. It's simple. Yes, there is an option to get Payoneer MasterCard, but don't worry about it yet. Just fill the form and start publishing.

12. Is this business a scam?

Answer

No, but if you're not confident in doing it, then go and continue being a slave and get paid peanut at the end of the month in that job you're trying to get or already in.

Yes, I know there is another question in your mind, so ask below and you'll get a reply within a couple of hours or minutes.

How to Use Nairaland Wisely and Productively

I noticed a lot of kids and adults come here to have fun, fight, read news, watch female profiles, and finally masturbate to them, then fall asleep. I'm not complaining — afterall, the wasted spérm isn't mine.

When they wake tomorrow, they continue with the exact lifestyle. The first thing they do is to check WhatsApp, Nairaland, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

They don't know how unfocused and wayward they've become. Since they are in their rooms and with their phones moving from one thread to another or one social media platform to another, they don't see it as waywardness. Sadly, I call it digital waywardness.

In the olden days, waywardness is about a son who hardly stays at home. Any little thing, zoom, he or she is out of the house to play, but will end up fighting with some other kids or will be lured into stealing as a form of play.

This is the exact thing happening with your phone. You are seated in your f*cking room like an introvert, but you are digitally wayward. You are a wayward child. Yes, I said it.

Even if you're busy in school and you love to while away time on the internet from one social media to another without generating legitimately dividend or planting seeds that will be turned to legal money in the future from it, you are a digitally wayward child.

When I realized I was a digital wayward child in 2013, I deactivated my Facebook, uninstalled messenger, and so on.

As I said in my previous post, you need to be a talkative on the internet, but talk less offline.

What I mean by talkative is: contribute in length as if you are writing a book even if you aren't.

The first thing you need to do is to pick a niche you're good at. When a topic comes up about someone complaining on that and needs advice, answer it or create a thread to address it.

Example:

I'm good at helping men with dating and marriage issues, so when I see a thread of a man complaining about how he doesn't last longer in bed, how he can't approach the opposite gender, how he gets nervous easily, etc. I reply by talking "extensively" on how he can have it handled and proffer the best solution for him.

I did this in 2016/2017/ 2018 here on Nairaland and in my forum ( https://wetclef.com ).

A lot of people attacked me and called me a talkative, jobless, idiot, etc. but I laughed and continued being a talkative because I know I'll end up laughing at last. Words can't bring you down when you have a master plan and focused on your aim.

And not just that — I'm still jobless now (as they said) and forever will be, but I can never lack money again (even though I'm broke). My "jobless' job is to create job for those who love job and pay them salaries.

At this moment, I laugh to the bank every month to cash out from all the free talk I have been talking on Nairaland that have now been turned to more than 20 great dating books for men.

Hold on! I have moved on to other lucrative and evergreen niches and that is more money.

Remember, be a talkative on a certain niche online, but talk less offline. This way, you'll end up making money while you sleep.

Every single post I reply or threads I create online will be part of a book in some years to come. I don't know which book it will be or even the title of the book, but when that time comes, I'll know. This is to say, I'm not a typical talkative, but a strategic talkative.

In real life (back then), I was an introvert, but man must wak, so I have to be assertive and a strategic talkative.

No one is supposed to be broke if they can focus their digital waywardness on being a strategic talkative.

The longer you wait to start whatever you want to start in life, the more confused, unfocused, and frustrated you'll become.

Are you scared of being a strategic talkative like me because you're afraid of being hated by un-strategic digital wayward people? Please, don't be. I have explained everything in an up coming book called You Are Almost There.

I wrote all my books with a phone and today, they have fetched me millions of Naira (though, I'm still broke). If I can do it, so can you.

I'm not special, I'm just resilient and focused even in the midst of pains, anger, and digitally wayward people.

To borrow a slang from Broda Shaggi, whose comedy I love to watch when I'm digitally lazy, "Oya, hit me."

You are my nairaland inspiration! What other evergreen niches have you moved into, I'm looking to try something new

hard to say cause I don't have that much info on tribes. Even here in SA kinda hard to tell. The ones that come a little close are the Malawian girls.

Femininity, like Masculinity, is fast going extinct bro.

Thanks.. what could be the reason for the extinction?

They have manlike attributes. Aggressive, angry and too assertive etc.

Did you watch the Women's World Cup? The teams that won were too masculine. And America won because most players were lesbians. The teams that got beat strong were the weakest and the most feminine. The most womanly.

Most feminine: Latina.

Lol.. Alright. What of most feminine African women?

I have never seen a single episode of Big Brother. I just saw maybe 5 mins of it years back. God is my witness.

My observation is from the real world. Nigerian women are too masculine. I don't know why. I don't know too much of your cultural history but it would seem like this is rooted from your origins.
Favvy there's even a thread here on NL about this thing. Let me find it and post it. It's an old thread.

Please by too masculine what do you mean? And which African countries do you think are very feminine?

Brahh.. There are many ways to say sorry still without acting weak.
You could tell her you ll make it up to her.. If she so mad, just calm quiet and give her time, then speak calmly of how you understand what went wrong and how it will be fixed. If it's little, throw her a joke like... I ll get you ice cream.. Etc..
.
Saying sorry baby sorry baby is just weak and does not in any way diffuse the situation better than handling it confidently .
Make no mistake, you re human, so sometimes you ll catch yourself being weak abruptly, but realise and catch yourself when you doing it and stop.
.

Alright, thank you
Romance / Re: UBUNJA's MISEDUCATION: Choosing A Girl. by joeeee240(m): 4:47pm On Jul 29, 2019
AussiePlayboy:

Nothing more infuriating than a girl trying to make you work hard for a pucsy you once had on your palms.
.
This is why we always tell men Never to apologise to a woman. No matter the situation. Do not show weakness. Cos you are sending yourself down to the "back to the starting point" away from the p. The attraction instantly drops.

Whenever you want to "makeup" or "return" to a girl, more often than not you will be too emotional and show signs of being poosywhooped, which is already a weak position.
.
Firstly, You need to be calm! Being emotional is feminine and that's what chased you away from her pucsy in the first place.
2ndly, You have to let her feel she is missing something. Maybe your life in a way has to change.. Etc. You have to put a value on her dating you. You must first let her know or feel that you have options even when you comeback even if you ve had no ass since she left. Can't stress this enough. She can't just walk back in 100% easily, else she will misuse it.

All these boil down to your Nonsexual attention. It is your currency. Which is your time, energy, resources. When you upgrade your life(career/social group/finances/appearance), you basically increase the value of your non sexual attention. You have to learn to use it. It has a value in the eyes of women. You are simply trading your nonsexual attention with sex from her. Women know how to use sex to get what they want. You must know how to use yours to get something from them.

For me. I hate this phase, because it really fcks with your mind. Typically, if you can pullout all of these and break her defenses, you will begin to resent her for making you go through all of these and feel like you deserve better.

These are all that go behind the scenes when you hear. I loved him, but he changed and treats me like sht.

So what do you do when you legitimately offend her as per imperfect human being wey men be?

there will be a writeup on Validation. I was supposed to make it into one post.

Validation is different but yes it goes hand in hand with validation.

2) it's not about the kiss but about making her know you're not a Volunteering Slave. If she acts shocked on the kiss then ask her what she has in mind. That's very important.

If she has nothing to give but a Thank You then walk away unless you get validation from helping women. Which is simping.

I can't tell you my record with kisses. Just ask and see. No harm in asking is there?

Ok.. thank you very much. So let's say you ask her what she has in mind and she says "a hug" or she says something that she can't do right there at the moment.

If it's a hug or something she can do immediately. Do you hug her then help her carry her stuff? Or......

If she says something that she can't do right there or immediately, what do you do next?

Amazing write up ubunja. I love this. Please I have a few questions.

1) Seems there's a thin line between attention and validation. What's the difference really and if there is Please can you do a thread on attention.

2) you said if a woman asks for a favour you should jokingly ask for a kiss.

@) if she refuses, what do you do or say next? Do you still help her carry the stuff or you smile and walk away or what?
b) In your experience, do how do they react when you jokingly ask for a kiss?

You can use Amazon ads, build and email list, or Facebook group.

How long? If you know how to do keyword research, find profitable niches, craft a keyword-rich title, design a great catchy cover, compose a cool and addictive book description, then you'll start making money in 24 — 72 hours.

If you're a newbie, then give it a week. Sadly, if your book is not what people are searching to buy on Amazon, then you'll hardly see sales. The business is a craft you must gradually learn before you can start smiling to the bank.

It doesn't matter how many years you're into the business — what matters is mastering keyword research and finding profitable sub-sub-sub niches.

This key word stuff. Where exactly is it applied? Is it in the description, the title of the book or what?
