OP, you must be lie Mohammed!
Amaechi was elected head of the governors forum when Yaradua was president.
After the 2011 elections with Jonathan, from the SS zone, president, the PDP zoned the head of the governor's forum to the "North".
Like Tambuwal's speaker-ship, some elements in the PDP had other ideas, and Amaechi went along with them.
Spot on. If I had seen this I wouldn't have bothered to post

First I must state that I am proudly a Niger-Deltan.

I am dissapointed that my brethern cant look beyond tribal sentiments and kick against what is wrong.

Many claimed Ameachi betrayed is brother forgetting the major incidence that led to the fuse between him and Jonathan.

It all started when Jonathan and the former PDP chairman decided to create there own almighty formular of 16 is greater than 19.
Na lie. When chicken dey pursue lion u know say something dey beat drum for am. There had been a gentlemans agreement that Jonah Jang would be next head of the governors forum and he was ready to accept it. However the likes of Kwankwaso seduced him with the idea of remaining as head of the governors forum and he agreed. Amaechi is a useless mofo and sellout to rival judas iscariot

Bros leave matter that is old news. We just need to apply efforts to ensure that the confab report is implemented by the APC dominated federal legislature. The Oba Akiolu threat may actually help this task

Gowon is a petty useless man. Its now confirmed. He reneged on the aburi deal otherwise why would he say this -

I remember this. I hope you all remembered this too.
Many of those kids now own choicest parts of your oduduwa utopian dream so park well and consider the 500,000 FG soldiers that had their balls blown off by Biafran forces -

HUNDREDS of angry  military  pensioners in the country Monday besieged the Oyo State Secretariat saying they regretted fighting against Biafran soldiers to ensure the unity of the country.
They said if they had known that the country would repay them in this wicked manner, they would have fought for the survival and sovereignty of Biafra.
The retired soldiers who spoke through their Chairman, Mr.  Mr. Gabriel Oiakhena said, “we have been pushed to the wall. The families of over 500,000 soldiers who lost their lives in Biafra are suffering.

When I see historic buildings let to dilapidate, I weep for Nigeria. The case is not different in Lagos, where the Parliament Building, TBS (the spot where our flag was first hoisted), Tafawa-Balewa's office, etc are in bad shape. In the US, this hardly happens. In fact the birth places of the past presidents are still intact.
That building has been restored though it has been modified greatly. Its called arewa house now. If not for the Ahmadu Bello university which maintains it it would have been like the house Zik was born in Zungeru that is now just a pile of rubble overrun by weeds.

Politics › LASU And What A University Shouldnt Be - Barrister D. Owolabi by joeyfire(op): 8:11pm On Mar 16, 2015
LASU and what a University should not be

The Lagos State University is a university wholly owned by a state that prides itself as the Centre of Excellence. Excellence is a burden as everyone expects you to stand out or be outstanding in everything you do. Let us leave the roads and whatever and look at LASU in the concept of excellence.

Except excellence has different meanings to different people but one strand runs through: highly recommended, the best quality and best of the best.

It is therefore bewildering how LASU has been mismanaged by the present managers of Lagos. Earlier last year, ASUU went on strike. APC and Lagos State Government blamed the strike on Federal Government for the strike. As usual, gullible Nigerians bought into that lies and called for the head of Nyessom Wike, the then Minister of Education.

As usual, FG worked tirelessly to resolve the strike and even agreed to pay the sum of N200billion to State Universities (since ASUU made it a condition for calling of the strike).

The national ASUU called off its strike but LASU's crisis had just began as it was moving from one trouble to the other. We can not forget the mindless increment of school fees in LASU that was hurriedly reduced when it became obvious that the issue will be an election issue.

Now, the worst has happened. LASU Vice Chancellor was so confused and demoralized that the great Prof. John Obafunwa simply broke down in tear and was sobbing earlier today. Why should sobbing or weeping be part of Fashola's gift for Lagosians? Why have they reduced LASU to a university where staff pelted the VC with pure/sachet water so much that the VC was weeping? What manner of excellence is that?

It is obvious that something needs to give in LASU. A centre of excellence is not a place where VC weeps.

So when Fashola beat his chest and declared that he had declared on his promises, discerning minds should ask if making the Vice Chancellor to weep is part of his promise to Lagosians. They can seek court order to stop airing of documentary about them but the truth is: beyond the surface, we have egoistical government whose actual achievement is non-performance! Centre of excellence indeed!

"However, the workers who felt angry over what they called “unattended to” by the vice chancellor started throwing sachets of water at him, which eventually made his cloth wetted.

The situation infuriated the vice-chancellor who sobbed as he walked through the main road leading to the main gate of the campus.

I just keep on wondering why some people take some certain things too serious. Having different political ideas doesn't make us an enemy. We all have one common goal which is the development of our great nation. I have so many friends that we have different political ideas, we are still great and talk about common things affecting us.
The politicians you are dieing for doesn't know you exist, they are all the same.

You do not have to condemn a governor who has performed well just because you are in different party, you do not have to praise a governor who hasn't performed anything just because you are in the same party.

If we all support our football team whenever they are playing, they what stop us from uniting together apart from all this tribalistic, political, ethnic differences

Together, we can make our country great.

God bless Nigeria
Unfortunately the APC started this game and it will never be the same again.
