amor4ce: Never to the bolded as long as the indigenes are prevented from protecting their interests and determining who joins or not. The Igbo and Fulani have been trampling on the rights of indigenes in this country, they are beneficiaries of the british colonialists/oxy-hominoids and seek to colonize Negroes.
If you weren't the lunatic you are known as on this site I would have asked you how Igbos trample on the rights of indigenes. All you unemployed ethnic activists are a bigger threat than boko haram. You just can't stop lying can you

My brother we nigerians have really been through a lot. Imagine that after almost fourteen years of democracy there is still a feeling of our not having really taken off as a nation.

Imagine when everybody should be strategising on how to clobber the PDP to death in 2015 people will still dissipate energy on the presidential candidate's ethnicity

Buffoon for all ages. As if half baked northern lawyers were not dusted up in their early fourties and appointed judges in northern states and within a year or two pushed up to the federal high court or court of appeal. More qualified and senior southerners were passed up by IBB and abacha this way. The ones who were allowed into the federal juficiary were appointed very close to the then retirement age of 65.

nagoma: The Igbos can never provide honest leadership wherever they find themselves. Their rise fr ok primitive culture to civilization with no natural development is commendable but it denied them the sense of social mutual existene and code of ethics. They will always cheat. Ihejirika is only 2 years in that position but his Igbo genes are telling him that he must fill all th positions with Igbos. The same with the immigration lady Who wanted to convert the Nigerian immigration service into Biafran immigration service. All the other Igbo people in position behave in the same way. Those who are not in position will courier drugs and kidnap other people- anything illegal and antisocial they are there. This army scandal is affecting all other non Igbo Nigerians not just the north. When you read the details you will see that more yorubas are adversely affected by this ihejirika's nepotism. They can shout , they can scream, but we must get to the bottom of it. If the country is to be divided so be it and let's do it in peace. South for SOUTHERNERS and north for NORTHERNERS . It is a continuation of their Jan 1966 plans.
Lol! Can u provide ANY evidence to back up your claims of marginalisation. Bring facts or sharrap.

nagoma: PTF was the most equitable and honest development activity that touched the lives of all Nigerians and Nigerian professionals. Go to the field and see and read about it instead of pedding malicious baseless rumors about what happened. Buhari is above board and his enemies ( you inclusive ) have done their best to find flaws in his upright nationalistic and altruistic approach to issues and his far play. No Igbo man in a million years will have his integrity.

So, i ask, what are the igbo intelligentia putting in place? Or are we going to wait for the 11th hour, like in 1967?
Good question. I think nothing yet, only thing notable is an astonishing weapons cache that is growing in private hands. That's not what should be happening

KnowAll: I don't mean any harm to any Igbo, u can go through all my post, as I bash Fashola so would i bash uduaghan or ANY igbo who behaves in an unglorified manner. So I am a no holds bar person, nobody pays my bill, so my allegience is to nobody, when i see injustice I shout. To think that in d year 2013, we as a nation ARE stilL revisting similar dark episodes of 1966 is a shame. What i called for is all appointments in d army should be looked at critically and holistically with d sole aim of RE-dressing ANY imbalance.

But on a personal note i know what my old man went through when he was working for an igbo dominated oil company, he was fustrated, that is 1st hand information, to see it displayed publicly like this only confirmed my fears even though one should not draw an inference over d limited number of cases observed!! huh
This guy! When you bash uduaghan why don't you bash his entire ethnicity like you did to igbos. You didn't mean any harm but you were quick to give the story about your pops in an igbo dominated company. Fair enough but note my dad also went through hell in a yoruba dominated blue chip manufacturing firm. Could you believe the yorubas used to speak yoruba in management meetings. My question to you is who holy pass? Have you been to PHCN and taken a random sampling of the ethnicity of the employees?

KnowAll: The Igbo's generally have a penchance for discrimation and nepotism, it is in their DNA, any wonder why this story should be looked at critically. We all read about the Immigration Igbo boss, how she undermined her boss when she began a camapign of calumny and imbalance recruitment exercise within the Immigration dept.

She went as far as recruiting not only igbo's in disproportinate numbers but when as far as recruiting a whole hoard of disdainful characters from her ward, if this despicable atitude is not overwhealming evidence of the Igbo man's psyche , what can be further from the thruth. huh
Pathetic bigotry. No brain matter went into your post at all. Just another hollow fart across cyberspace

If you are a racist embrace it with pride and drop the hypocrisy looking for excuses like "igbo immigration officer" bla bla bla. Soludo was CBN governor, go there and do a head count and tell me how many igbos were employed in his tenure compared to the kinsfolk employed by the two sanusi's in their tenures

These (h)activists from you know where are at it again. This week again they have picked on super eagles and now the army. While no one is supporting marginalisation I am wondering why the deliberate desire to inflame people's feelings by painting a picture of igbos and 1966.

Those behind this are obviously still hung over and living in 1970 and are bereft of knowledge to notice a quiet and sustained arms build-up and growing ethnic radicalisation of otherwise politically naïve folk.

Finally those who think that igbo servicemen in the army are top-heavy with officers to the exclusion of igbo rank and file pouring in are also still living in 1970

That's why the best place to start if GEJ is serious at all is to cut down the promoters and sponsors asap. Secondly purge his government as much as possible of the members of boko haram that he says he knows

WITH ALL THIS HAPPENING TO THE PEOPLE OF THE NIGER DELTA,THEY HAD TO RISE AND SUPPORT THE NIGERIAN ARMY TO FLUSH OUT THE BIAFRAN ARMY.IF NOT OUR SITUATION WOULD HAVE BEEN WORSE THAN AS IT IS,IF WE WERE IN BIAFRA.

ABANDONED PROPERTY WAS A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PROGRAM,WHY MOST IGBOS LOST THEIR PROPERTIES WAS BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE DOCUMENTS TO THE HOUSES THEY CLAIM THEY OWN.THE FEW PEOPLE THAT HAD DOCUMENTS TO THEIR PROPERTIES,RECOVERED THEM.I KNOW ONE OR TWO PEOPLE LIKE THAT.

coogar: why did the igbos vote for obj then if your claim is true that obj was let out of prison to stop ekwueme's presidential dreams? one thing i can tell you though - the yorubas did not vote for obj. he lost even on his street in 1999 so what's the fuss about? falae was the preferred candidate in the south west but the ndigbos colluded with the northerners as usual to put pdp in power!
Don't get it twisted, ekwueme did not lose to obasanjo in a general election, he lost in the PDP primary elections. He lost because ekwueme was an igbo man and the northern military class wanted someone to cover their azzes with someone dirty that they could trust. Obj handed over to GEJ indirectly and because he was weak and was someone he could trust and the return of democracy to this country became compromised and has descended to the shyte we see today

dayokanu: Ten states host 63 percent of all bank branches in Nigeria

•Banks have 3,190 branches

Ten states in Nigeria host 63 percent of all bank branches in the country. This is based on an analysis contained in the Nigerian Banks Financial Transparency Report 2010. The analysis covers the 14 banks not affected by the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) change of management, quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and which had published their 2009 annual reports.
The analysis shows that the 14 banks analysed have a total of 3,190 branches and cash centres in all the states in Nigeria. State by State analysis however showed that 63 percent of these branches are located in the following ten states: Lagos, Abuja FCT, Rivers, Anambra, Oyo, Edo, Ogun, Delta, Kano and Kaduna.
These states could also easily qualify as the commercial centres in their various regions: Lagos , Ogun, and Oyo in the South -West, Abuja FCT which is Nigeria’s seat of power, Anambra in the South - East, Rivers in the South- South oil states, and Edo and Delta in the former Mid-western region.

Analysis of bank branch locations in the report shows a heavy concentration of bank branches in Lagos with 31 percent of all bank branches in Nigeria. Almost all the banks have a heavy presence in Lagos, a confirmation of its position as the nation’s commercial hub. Access Bank has the highest concentration of its bank branches in Lagos with an average of 40 percent of all its branches, while Unity Bank has the least concentration in Lagos with just 17 percent of all its branches.

Abuja, Nigeria’s political capital, has the second highest concentration of bank branches with just six percent of all bank branches. Rivers State, which could be classified as Nigeria’s oil capital, has the third highest concentration of bank branches with about 5 percent of all bank branches in the country.
Anambra State, the commercial hub of the South- East, has the fourth highest concentration of bank branches.
The bottom four states in terms of bank branch locations in the country were Ebonyi, Kebbi, Jigawa and Zamfara states; each with less than one percent of bank branches in the country in 2009.

Tinubu as usual will evaluate the situation and play both sides into a tangle, supporting the side who's hand is strong by 2015
