The truth is around the world not only in Nigeria, people were (Dark) sun glasses in non-sunny places like cars, indoor events etc. for several reasons

1. fashion/personal style e.g jack Nicholson, Bono, d'banj etc. for them it's a style/brand thing
2. Most celebrities abroad where it (even at night)or on the red carpet to protect their eyes from the blinding flashes of papparazzi cameras
3. Fashion, For **** sakes designer sun shades are not just for the sun but an accessory to complement your outfit e.g you won't tell kidrock to take of his hat since he is not riding a horse like a cowboy or in the sun! you won't tell jay-z to take of his baseball hat while perfoming on stage because he is not at a base ball game of his team or under the sun! haba it's fashion! you either accept it or not.

*But a little advice for the true indoor sun-shade wearing fashion community... there are some designer shades that are not totally solid dark, they seem to fade to transparent a bit but not totally. these are the nest type to be worn at night or indoors* peace.

you made lots of good points here but still why dress badly at all? some of these celebrities take some of this as a trade mark esp on stage. you dnt see most of them dressing that way outside the stage, still that p diddy carries toothpick in his mouth all the time doesnt make it right.

Nothing can take away the advantages that comes with vocations. be you an engineer, banker or whatever vocational skills always come in handy.

you can do all, during school periods learn the equations and improve your thinking ability then during the holidays pick up any of these skills and better your life.

the truth is that most of this telecoms companies hardly take in graduates or people without experience, this is because as soon as they grab the experience they will start jumping from one telecoms company to the other. most times it cost the company alot.
as for climbing mask there are many field of expertise in telecoms, those that climb mask are called riggers they enjoy but i see as suffering. there is VAS, Planning, Optimization, IT, HR, Database admins etc. in my own opinion the real engineering work is done by the RF network planning and Optimization engineers-seniors are in the office always while juniors sometimes go to the field but jst to tell those that climb what to do when they are up there.

please all these companies are financial in nature. the place to start your career should depend what you want to be.
if everybody works for these companies then how do we groom telecoms engineers, network engineers, petroleum engineers, automobile engineers, sales reps and agents and others.

All these companies mentioned are they better than Chevron, Total, MTN, Huawei, Ericson, Etisalat and the rest of them.

There are fields where you have to pay yours dues in terms of gaining experience before start enjoying yourself but you will end up with a reasonable or better career.

@ OP u are ryt but nt totally. i got a job as a telecoms engineer without knowing any practical thing abt telecoms, but the skills i have in IT actually made me a manager in jst 2 yrs of working. i spent my holidays in school learning every thing IT could offer-web design, programming, computer hardware and software, networking etc. my skill grew the biz from jst a telecoms service provider to a coy that provides services in website, programming, hardware and software, and networking. my skill chase others b4 away. But i feel am jst favored. the way u plan your life will tell u wat to do or which skill to learn or if its even necessary.

I dnt need d university to make me a politician unless I actually practiced students politics in school with active role. Look around u and name any Nigerian leader who studied po.science in school.

Why waste ur time studying theater when almost if not all shining actist did nt near dat department in school, most are even undergraduates.

Y computer science and even computer engineering when most computer engines that I knw of studied arts in school.

All wat i know today as an engineer, i paid thru my nose to know dem after graduation. what you are saying here is liking putting a mechanical engineer to fix a car. while a mechanic can easily fix a car and a mechanical engineer might not be able fix it, but still they are 2 different professions. while a mechanical engineer can design parts of a car or a complete car, a mechanic(Technician) can't but by way of experience he might be able to assemble the parts. the key word here is DESIGN. Engineers design stuff and attach a manual on how to make use of it and Technicians read the manuals and make use of the designed stuff, naturally Technicians cant explain how stuff works by first principle only by experience, technicians can't make innovations engineers design new stuff. These is why most engineers end up supervising technicians telling them to do these or that but might not be able to do it themselves.

u cant xpect a young man of 20 to court a girl for 6 months and then marry here. i believe its only men and women who are ready to get married that can put time limitations to their courtship. if am dating a girl now its because i want to b with her and not because i want to get married, i am very sure am not ready for marriage now but the lady who is with me when i am ready to get married will sure be the one and i will only hope she will say yes. i av dated one one girl all my life for over 10 yrs now because we stated from junior secondary school so wen am ready she will be my wife. there is no preset time limit for courtship.
