We have already admitted Okobi was wrong for her remarks in the interview but why is no one talking about the coach telling her she is not good enough in front of everyone? Is that what other foreign coaches do Don't they call u one on one to say these type of things

We have to hear from other witness first.

I believe you read this part Mr BsacoVanVeli.

There's a difference between full-time emotionally charged statements and scheduling an interview to criticize the coach.

Read and weep. Interviews done with the Brazilian, Danish and British media.

Discipline? He asked him to stop leaving the box, u make it seem like Onana was out drunk. Onana had been playing like that his whole career, we all saw the champions league final and how much of a joy he was to watch. The coach tried to use him as a scape goat and he wasn't having it. If Song had such a problem with how Onana played he would have said it before the tournament. Not after a loss that he was faultless for.

If you read my statements well, you'll understand that 1 and 3 do not fall into what I said. 2 seems to agree with my earlier comments and Jannik was suspended from the first team. I don't think he was ever returned to training.

Maybe you didn't watch the BS she said in that interview. Basically calling the coach incompetent and that he should be removed. No topflight coach dead or alive will accept that nonsense statement you're trying to justify.

If Hierarchy has been destroyed, we all know the origin-The nff. Cos why will we be hearing enough rumors that a certain player has to apologize before she can be included in the team? That's like mixing business with pleasure, lack of keeping things professional too. That's the problem. If there is a sense of orderliness and Discipline in the affairs of the super falcons, even many of these journalists go dey fear to do some things.

But see the bias of even the staff attached to the team. Sotey players can't even voice out. Iwobi complained about pitch. I bet you if twas someone in falcons, everywhere for don scatter and some gist go pop up here and there about ingratitude and pride. They are gagged, asides all these other legit causes that needs to be addressed.

Sad that she said that about her teammates. They are not her main problem, but she stupidly included them innit and now that alone is going to be a good excuse to justify exclusion.

Yeah. Officially apologizing for misconduct isn't a bad thing in itself but as I earlier said. There's little reason for any player to have personal problems with an official if the official did not degrade his position. Like, he isn't the coach so what was he doing with the player that resulted in such situation.

Anyways I'm quite cynical with some revelations here though.

First off Onana was sent packing because of a tactical dispute. He wanted to play like he has been playing his whole career and the coach felt different. Don't come and be spoiling our brother's name just to prove a point.

Every foreign EPL baller does interviews when they get to their countries and if they are having issues with their coach those questions will be asked. Every coach in the EPL has had to answer questions about what their players said in an interview. Most times u hear them say that words were lost in translation and the issue will be delt with in house.

Your assertion about it being a tactical disagreement is completely false. I remember Song saying in the interview that he was disciplining Onana. It is all there on the internet. Onana refused Song's instructions and Song was going to place him on the bench. Onana refused the bench and wanted to be left out of matchday squad. Song responded by sending him packing from the WC. Cameroun's FA supported Song and suspended Onana from the National team. You don't get to quarrel with the coach like that FFS.

Secondly can you give an example of a player that granted an interview to criticize his coach? As I said before, it is normal for players to express unhappiness with the coach's tactics after a match, but when you start trying to conflict with the coach's decisions or start trying to undermine a coach's authority, it is a big red line

You remember what happened to the Spanish female team? They wrote an open letter to their FA asking for the coach to be removed. It backfired as all 15 signatories to the latter were suspended from the National team.

You can even decide to grant interviews, but like Ronaldo be ready to leave the team. I've said over and again, no sane coach would allow a player back on his team after that kind of outburst.
Of course I mentioned that earlier. There cannot be two coaches in a team. One must leave.

See, it doesn't even matter if members of the team support her (they do actually), but their support stops at encouraging her, but not at the detriment of the team.

Like I said, what is happening can fracture the team cause what she's saying in essence is that members of the squad (her own team-mates) are undeserving of the spot they currently hold. If for whatever reason someone gets injured and she's called to replace the her, the dressing room won't be the same.

The choice of a players is beyond what they do on the pitch (even though this is important). If a player doesn't help camp spirit a coach is at liberty to excuse them. Just not pleased with how everything has been handled.

I have been a huge fan of Okobi, somehow I still am. But it's high time we start tackling this kind of behavior. Okobi will never do this in her club. It's only with the NTs where hierarchy has been destroyed. That's where they feel comfortable doing it.

I don't have any problem if pundits criticize Randy for removing her if the reason was not indiscipline.

I get your point but these interviews are normal. If u can get interviewed after losing a game u can get interviewed any other time.

Interviews to criticize your manager's decisions are not normal and you know it.

My problem with Nigerians is that we are too emotionally manipulated and worship players. Onana was fu*cking sent packing from the WC cos of this, his own was not even public.

This is why keep having cases of indiscipline in with the Super Eagles. We tolerate behaviors like this all time. Okobi has been benched severally in her club, why didn't she criticize her coach there? Our players keep doing what they cannot do in the EPL or other leagues.

Can you grant an interview because an EPL coach axed you from the match squad? But in Nigeria you hear about players clubbing during camp, arguing and fighting with the coach because we will always support the player.

The Journos are divided over this mata.

I think the bias of making a few players not worthy of going is what's adding fuel to this. 3players. Remove those 3 and argument direction go change and pro-Ngozi no go get mouth again.

She gave hint that Randy started all of this by approaching her and saying she's not his kind of player to be in his team.

If that indeed happened, then Randy is an inglorious........😥😥

Made her a rejected stone until Japan.

As much as his selection is kinda okay to me, what is my crux is this man is not a sound game tactician or game reader. And this is the grandest of stages ever. This, to me, is the biggest deal.

If he doesn't change this fear, he's hilda-ing for thousands of Fans to exclaim "we told you so"

You know there's something called emotional manipulation? Let's hear Randy's part of the story before we conclude.

BTW, if she's right then why is no member of the team in support of her, at least covertly. None at all. The only people in support of her are those journalists feeding from only her side of the story.

Did you watch the interview?

If you did, do you at least share my sentiments?

I watched for the most part and I believe I was justified in my submission.

She initially kept it clean, just stuck to how she felt about being left out. How that upon the conclusion of the season, she left Spain for Sweden (instead of Nigeria) to prepare for the World Cup almost convinced of her inclusion. Much of the insult to Waldrum came from viewers and not her.

Sadly the temperature of the conversation shifted after a while. Thing is, when someone is still grieving as she is, they are at thier most vulnerable state and will more often than not say things they aren't supposed to say.

She went ahead to say that though she doesn't think it's her right to be her the world cup, she "single-handedly scores the goal that qualified Nigeria to the world cup and those who didn't work or contribute to it have taken her place (I paraphrased this last part cause I can't remember verbatim). This are things that shouldn't be said of your colleagues no matter how justified you think you are. It fractures the team cause what she said in essence is she's more deserving than others (even if she didn't mean that). It's why she shouldn't have gone in that Live.

Oshoala even tried to take her off it. She accused Doherty in the comments of putting her on the spot. She even had to hop on the LIVE to share why Okobi bearing her mind isn't the best for her. Opinions changed after that and many people started clamouring for the live to end as they could see reasons (some disagreed sha).

She keeps showing us more reasons why she should not be part of the squad

Yes, I agree with you about someone coming to national television to embarrassed our armed forces.
I also agree with Dokubo actions on this issue.
It is an open secret that some senior members of our armed forces members are oil thieves
Let us call the thieves what they are.

Running away from the fact of the matter will only make the armed forces more bracing than ever to steal more crude oil.
Now that we have a bold man coming out to informed the commander in chief of the armed forces about the atrocious stealing of his men, I expected the C in C to make moves against the thieves in uniform
And everyone in the armed forces involved in the stealing of crude oil should desist from the illegal act.
God help us

Everyone knows it. Just that dokubo is also a criminal himself, that was involved in the militant clashes during the crisis days.

Shut up if you have nothing meaningful to say. How many persons can speak truth to power and army and walk free? We are talking about finding solutions. Army that we all respect should not be engaging in illegal activities like these and blame the struggling youths. It's a challenge of truth or lie against the military.

So Asari dokubo that was involved in the death of soldiers during the ND crisis is the right person to speak truth to power?

I understand your point though; disrespect is a NO.
When Ronaldo did that interview with Piers Morgan. What happened?

He too knew he wouldn't be returning to MUFC after that.

The truth is that no serious club or country will allow any player that criticisizes the coach in public to remain in the squad. Disrespect will spread like a virus in the squad. Next you know is players rejecting substitutions or positions because they "know better".

Tinubu should as a matter of urgency stop allowing everyone to be visiting him anyhow.

Not as if he is incorrect, but being close Tinubu has now given him guts to embarrass the entire armed forces on television. Not good at all.

But to be fair, Randy needed that at that point; the poor results was too much. Coming from a senior player, the criticism would be taken seriously and positive change would be effected.
It's just like saying players should keep quiet irrespective of how the football federation treats them. Sometimes, someone needs to speak up irrespective of how unprofessional it sounds.

No bruh. No player whatsoever has any right to correct his coach. That's straight up insubordination. It's like having a soldier correct his officer.

Doing it on the pitch can be excused because emotions run high sometime. But doing it long after the match has ended, publicly, is something that should never be tolerated.

The coach has his own employers for a reason. If I were Randy, She would have left the squad immediately after that. Personally I hate disrespect for direct authority.

Randy Waldrum submitted his list two weeks ago, but the NFF have not been able to make it public because they have been meddling with it, Bring in this and that and removing the names of players Randy want..

The name's affected are, Yewande Balogun, Onyi Echegini, Nicole Payne, Fransisca Ordega, don't be surprised if you don't see Franny's as she has offended one of the Big name in the NFF because of what she have said. And that person have taken it to heart that Franny's isn't going to the World Cup if she doesn't write Apology Letter which Franny isn't willing to do..

Let's see how things play out before the release of the list Tomorrow, if they don't release it tomorrow hopefully by Friday

I want to give stories of how it affects them, who they want to bring and one of the Main obstacle of the list but I'm not OSASU OBAYIUWANA.. Mk I not talk pass my self

This goes to show that the NFF "deep state" are not keeping relationships with the players within professional limits.

There shouldn't be an occasion for a single NFF official to have personal problems with any member of the team for whatever reason.

NFF officials and players fraternize too much and this is destroying the entire setup. It waters down the authority of the coach, introduces politics and bias, and causes quarrels and witch hunting.
