The transformation agenda is the plan by which the GEJ administration is bringing the country back from the brink. The economy, the power sector, the agricultural sector etc. Now if you were in this country you would know, but you ran away. You should ask us who are here what is up and we will educate you, not for you to make pronouncements ok?

Eziachi:
Transformation agenda, what is that in simple man's language or just a mantra? Before that, their was 2020 economic agenda, 7 Point agenda. I wonder, what happened to those? By 2015 I am sure there would be another one. Don't get me wrong, GEJ has at least successfully transformed his bank balance beyond his wildest dreams.
Day time soap opera is far better, at least they do their best to meet your expectations through their storyline, you can't say that about your leaders and there daily dose misgovernment.
Politics / Re: Goodluck Jonathan Again? by Johndoe100(m): 8:29pm On Oct 21, 2012
This is the logic of the cro-magnum humanoid.

thelastPope:

So they do not deserve kudos because it is one state? What kind of logic is that? Abeg have some class and acknowledge good thing. Don't be a saddist or ungrateful. If the election was a failure, you will not have hesitated to draw out your long sword to tear GEJ in pieces. You sound like Arsene wenger anytime his team is overrun by any of the big four! Eat your humble pie joor!
Politics / Re: Mimiko Wins Ondo Gubernatorial Poll by Johndoe100(m): 8:18pm On Oct 21, 2012
I find the part in bold hilarious. You educating people? Now you say GEJ has no plan? What is the transformation agenda then? Look you seem to be suffering from old age. Maybe you should stick to day time soap operas like most old people.

Eziachi:
I am not preaching to you but I am rather educating you free of charge on the tenet of real democracy. Most of you born and raised inside military dictatorship has carried the psyche into this pseudo Nigerian democracy and you can see the effect all around..
As long as Jonathan is concern as a leader, he is to the best of my knowledge, just like those before him in power for being in power. No plans, no ideological stand, no integrity, just whatever tomorrow brings and I don't think he is in a form or shape retard but he is definitely clueless as far as his job description is concern.
Thats my opinion and you're entitled to yours as well.

Below are the pictures.

Is it being "a born again" that made you daft or were you just born that way?

This is still vague. You really can't expect people to come to NL and say something like "ok here are the secrets of .......... group". You can though get to understand the "thinking" behind the groups.

Do you need some crude oil to drink? I can let you have enough to drink.

Sam Milla: Dear Mrs Jonathan,
If you remember what Nigerians, including you and your husband went through during Yar'adua,s long stay in Saudi Arabia, you will be greatful to those who speculated that you had surgey.
Meanwhile since you did not find it worthy to tell us what you went there to do instead you concentrated on denying the little information we have,
You will still remain in Germany to those who heard that you went there on tv and have not been able to hear that you have returned due to power failure in their areas.

To me, you went to hide Nigeria's money, using hospital as cover.
More allegations will follow until we know for sure what you went there to do.
Yours faithful SM.

Why are you all responding to JOHNBULL4040? The guy is a chronic fantasist. Aluu is an Ikwerre village in Ikwerre local government. If the fool goes there he will not come back. He knows this, so he comes here to mouth off.

Johnbull, me be Rivers boy. I dare you to show face for Ikwerre land. I have sent word to some Ikwerre boys to organize an "appropriate welcome" for you. I really dislike noise makers like you.

Thy went to collect a debt. Debts can arise from many sources.

tpia@:
Seems there''s another version of events, which is the man in question was paid money to secure accommodation for one of the murdered students.

No accommodation was forthcoming and he didnt return the deposit.

That was what they went to collect from him, supposedly.

Now, its hard to know what exactly is the truth in this horrible matter, but its a well known fact that when you get scammed, if you go after the scammer, they can turn extremely dangerous.

Family / Re: Help!!! My Friends Wife To Be Is From ALUU Village by Johndoe100(m): 12:18am On Oct 18, 2012
If you are going to lie, at least get your story straight. NO ONE from that state tells people they are from Port Harcourt when they are not. I mean why are you not from Owerri state? Did you show her your village in Owerri? Aluu is not in Port Harcourt. You could not even be bothered to find out the name of the place. What is Aluu community? There is no such place, but of course this your lover does not know the name of her village.

lollydyss: Your advice will help my friend

Am 32 years old dating a girl of 27years.I have been following this blog for a while now and am encouraged with some of the advices given here.Am sure you are all aware of the recent killings of the four students of UNIPORT in Aluu community.Am a native of Imo state. All this while,i never gave it a thought to know my woman`s village in Port-harcourt,but the recent killings of the student made me to be curious to know her particular village in Port-harcourt.She tried to cover the issue, but I insisted on knowing and she said it`s Aluu comunity. It really came to me as a shock, this is because, this same girl have threatened me with a knife few months back when we had a minor argument. Please my people your advice is greatly needed as am so confused at the moment.

Thanks

ocelot2006: I must say that the irate students of UNIPORT were quite lenient. I trust schools like UNICAL, ESUT, and Ekpoma. By now, Aluu would have been extinct.

Why do people like to talk nonsense. Uniport is in the middle of the Ikwerre nation. You go and "wipe out" one of their communities and you think you will live? By the way there are around 1,000,000 Ikwerres or more.

This is a wonderful idea, just be sure to tell all the "gushing members" how much you stand to make when the blog gets traction and you start to sell advert space. By the way getting the mugus members to build content that others have to pay up to $40 per article to writers to create is a wonderful idea. Are you going to pay them for the content? Will they own the copywrite to the content or you get that for free as well?

They are naive, not all of us are.

The Aluu people are Ikwerre. The Governor of the state is Ikwerre. The question is can you marry an Ikwerre? The answer is yes for 99.99% of women. What happened in that place, the lynching of suspected thieves is not uncommon. I wonder why it has now been become something to shout "shock" "horror" over. They lynch people all over Nigeria. This is who we are as Nigerians. Stop the cant and hypocrisy.

@OP
These are the kind of stories you should listen to. If you listen to those women who live abroad and think that the nonsense they spew will help you, you will be shocked. Work on your husband and save your familly.

Take this advice:

modele2:
Your challenge is very real and I chose to reply becos i have experienced a part of it(fortunately not the beating part but the part where he wants you to spend every penny you have).

First take a patience pill. A president is respected not becos of the person he is but the office he occupies. Your husbands attitude may be like po, but becos of his office as husband, still give him respect.

1. Call him regularly, be cheerful on the phone when you call, ask him about his activities nicely and be genuinely interested, Dont NAG about money. You can ask about the household needs when you really really have to. if he refuses, let it be.
2. Thank God you have a job and make do with what you have, dont make your contributions an issue, limit your contributions to what is necessary, no fancy stuff.
3. When he comes around stop the confrontation, since he does not listen and resorts to violence. Make the house as comfortable as possible for him
4. Stop asking about the car, your nagging will not get it for you, as you are doing save towards one if you can and it would stop giving him reasons to annoy you, forget the car is there. He would later wonder why you are not asking and might offer it,a t least for his children school runs.
5. Another problem is the distance, he is not around and cant see how you contribute to the family upkeep, if he has any resonable bone in his body, u could do a cash book of your expenses from time to time and show him.
6. His not being around also means honestly...that u add little value to him in terms of perks of marriage, so try and make up for it when he is around.
7. Find contentment in other things, make the house a nice place for him when he returns, reduce the quarrels as much as u can, peharps he can regard you with more warmth. He would at a point look forward to comming home.
8. Look for support, raising the boys alone is not easy, get help so you can have more time for your self.
9. Then my dear, dont be tired of praying.
10. One day he would come round and you would truly begin to enjoy your marriage. One person has to conscede or play the fool in a quarrel, since it is thou that seeketh peace, then thou must play the fool.

If Johndoe can't prove that Edo.girl is a HATER of Nigeria, then he deserves a ban.

The problem with people like you is that you speak on things you don't know. Who am I supposed to prove this to? You?

Disgusting how you dish out tags to everyone: haters, patriotic, arrogating to yourself prerogative to label Nairaland members.

Ho hum, it does not matter to me anymore. Whatever you want to do please feel free, you might want to replace Talina with demdem for a totally unbiased debate. Also make sure that the topic(s) are on the present government.
Politics / Re: NL Monthly Political Debate by Johndoe100(m): 7:44am On Oct 13, 2012
I also have nothing against Edo-girl, but why always haters? Why would the replacement for the foreigner not be someone we want, why always a hater? If your bias is so great then let us at least have a foreigner. At least they won't be so implacably unpatriotic.
Politics / Re: NL Monthly Political Debate by Johndoe100(m): 10:35pm On Oct 12, 2012
The part in bold is why the judges were probably selected. I just wonder though with Gbawe gone will the opposition ranks not be seriously depleted?

Gboliwe: No. Names of Judges shouldnt be revealed. It'll brew bad blood.
This is all some serious fun. I'm sure many journalists and the Utomis and Elrufais are geering towards this. I am sure the impact of this debate will resonate longer and farther than we think now.
I also think the Judges are okay but you know we are in a 'free society', since a group say they are not happy with a particular judge, lets not force it. We still have so many others to choose from and i'm sure even Judge Coogar wants the very best for this debate
Politics / Re: NL Monthly Political Debate by Johndoe100(m): 10:26pm On Oct 12, 2012
All this is just fine, if the debate is not fixed. We are saying that you can not have a fair debate when the judges are biased.

Ibime: Hey man, nobody is getting paid for this debate.

In school my econs lecturer was right leaning whilst I was left leanimg yet I never scored less than 70% in any of his assignments.

Also last time I participated in a debate at school I had to argue in favour of ibb's policies yet I brought the trophy home for my house.

In summary, regardless of your political leanings, you win a debate by building an argument based on facts and your use of the english language.
