I don't know where you got the idea that men don't educate their sons on women. It was during my generations time that we had to learn about women ourselves. My sons have been told the truth about women from an early age.
Oh and by the way, you still seem ignorant of the truth about women. You don't chase women, you make money and entice women at least in Nigeria, just by being "visible" in their circle of consciousness.

The idea of illiterate women has its appeal. I mean we (men that is) have all had bush meat at some point. Bush meat has its own taste.

Why would anyone want advise on marriage from someone who has so publicly failed at it? And I can speak because I am married and have been married to the same person going on for 20 years.

Being a mason liberates your soul and your mind. A lot of information on this thread is from books. Being a mason is something you experience. Go to the lodges already mentioned on this thread and ask the officials there what days the meetings take place. The hall on Broad street is English although some Scottish lodges meet there as well. If you want to meet with the members, that is a good place to do so. Tell them you are interested in becoming a member. The process takes time and is involved. If you make it.it will open your eyes.

Just saw this thread. Interesting thing. I was at my parents place and had the opportunity to be around when my mum needed some assistance in handling one of the teenage girls that live with her. They are the daughters of a relative. One is 16 and the other 18. My mum is getting on in years as you can imagine, so the girls are a handful. I offered to be the instrument of correction by applying the rod where it would do the most good, even though really my sisters should be the ones doing this kind of stuff. Given the behavior of the girls it was felt that a "man's touch" would be needed. I have not yet "applied the rod" but I most likely will be called upon to do so. However, the knowledge that their rear ends are in imminent danger and that that danger is very real has had a very salutary effect on them. they are nicer (especially to me) and seem to have gotten the message.

I have teenagers of my own, I discipline them simply by explaining things to them with the appropriate groundings and restrictions of access to all manner of vehicles and electronic gadgets, although in truth my wife is the person in charge of such things. By the time it gets to me it is usually a really serious infraction.

How do u FEEL when someone (an opp sex) goes out of his way to serve u, run errands for u, try to please u and be there for you even when it is obvious you can't date the person?

I do know how to handle such situations, but it sometimes saddens me esp. when the person is someone 'lower' than you. I usually try my best to reject/reciprocate such gestures in the most polite and humble way possible.

But to be sincere, it can be awkward.
