babestella: Rubbish post spreading falsehood. That the husband did not interfere in her job and the nonsense reeled out by print and social media does not mean the husband or the in laws don't care about her. You people should stop all these. Let her husband come out and say his wife has been unfaithful to him then we would know it's coming from him and not from some crappy media. Romance › Re: Are U A Victim? 'love At First Sight' by johnjon: 4:01pm On Apr 08, 2015 |
ronald4lif: Love at first sight is nothing but an immediate infatuation mixed with an element of either lust or desire to possess as well, whether consciously or subconsciously. The love for a person of opposite sex is a multi-dimensional emotion that needs hell of a lot more than just a first sight or meet to kick in.
You can not truly love someone until you know them. There is lust at first sight where you become obsessed with someones looks and sometimes that becomes love but there is no such thing as love at first sight.
You can't love someone at first sight because love is on the inside and you can't see into someone's inner depths in one glance. That saying is totally superficial and it clashes with you can't judge a book by its cover.
What people misconstrue for love at first sight is just that attraction that gives one the kick to further know the person inside. And believe me if the inside is not as charming as the outside of this person you think you love at sighting them for the first time, that "love" wanes off drastically.
You can not love someone until you know them inside. A practical example is claiming you love iPhone, Samsung Galaxy or other gadgets without having felt it usage and features.
The only love at first sight is the love of a mother. Once a baby is born the mom loves him/her at a first glance. Liking or lusting is different from love.
In today's world - a make believe, where people are moved by what they see (money, looks, boobs, ass, 6packs, cars etc) I strongly doubt the love at first sight believe exist. Love at first sight to me is a myth. And if at all it's a reality it happens 0.3% of the time. Love is different with everyone because we are all different! You can't describe true love for anyone! Everyone's experience of loving or being in love is totally unique. Because we are all unique! There are no hard and fast rules in love. Sometimes love at first sight is true. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes you really love someone you've dated for 10 years. Sometimes you don't. Stranger things have happened unexpectedly when it comes to visual and hormonal attraction. Nature can fart on your common senses sometimes. That can happen to the best of us. But, fate can perform those unexplainable little miracles to a lucky few. I am sure there are many people out there who will tell you that love at first sight is true and they have been married for many years. |

Romance › Re: Is Arguing A Natural Part Of Every Relationship? by johnjon: 8:31am On Mar 22, 2015 |
softysparky: Argument is not about being right or winning a discussion but finding ways to listen and respect each other's opinion . it is a process of reasoning. I hate it when one keeps quiet in a relationship and never really expresses what they are feeling or thinking about and ends up assuming things and building up resentment. A relationship without arguments most times ends on a bitter terms due to useless assumptions and built up resentment. Some things get clearer when we argue. Exactly! That's so frustrating. |

babestella: What is wrong with this s1.lly dirty urchin? Your Im.becility smells to the low hells. Please get off the thread if you have nothing tangible to say. Do you think you are here to sell garri and yam? Do you know what a consitution is? Have you ever bothered to get a copy and know how your country should be run? Rubbish. Please get out of my mention, ei-diot. You are a miserably incorrigible dunce. Go and ask your father what a constitution is. You this villainous chronically flatulent sideshow freak. Your word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy. You should tell GEJ to get a copy of the constitution and learn how to run your Country. Bastard! |

Rose2014: This is more realistic. The lady has her share of the blame, I agree with that but mcdokwe is not innocent on the verbal abuse either He said lots of hurtful words to her too. the guy is not the only that has limits
They're both wrong so let's not be crucifying only women over verbal abuse. Men are verbally abusive too. Nairaland is an example where u see men ranting all over. It's not only women thing anymore Damnnn! You are very slow o. So it took you how many days to finally agree that they were both wrong. |

Blue Lagoon
The main visitor's building of the Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon (Icelandic: Bláa lónið) geothermal spa is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. The spa is located in a lava field in Grindavík on the Reykjanes Peninsula, southwestern Iceland. Bláa lónið is situated approximately 20 km (12 mi) from the Keflavík International Airport and 39 km (24 mi) from the capital city of Reykjavík, roughly a 20 minute drive from the airport and a 50 minute drive from Reykjavík.
The warm waters are rich in minerals like silica and sulfur and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is reputed to help some people suffering from skin diseases such as psoriasis.[2] The water temperature in the bathing and swimming area of the lagoon averages 37–39 °C (99–102 °F). The Blue Lagoon also operates a research and development facility to help find cures for other skin ailments using the mineral-rich water.

The glaciers and ice caps of Iceland
The glaciers and ice caps of Iceland cover 11.1% of the land area of the country (about 11,400 km² out of the total area of 103,125 km²) and have a considerable impact on its landscape and meteorology. An ice cap is a mass of glacial ice that covers less than 50,000 km² of land area covering a highland area and they feed outlet glaciers. Glaciers are also contributing to the Icelandic economy, with tourists flocking to the country to see glaciers on snowmobiles and on glacier hiking tours.[1]
Many Icelandic ice caps and glaciers lie above volcanoes, such as Grímsvötn and Bárðarbunga, which lie under the largest ice cap, Vatnajökull. The caldera of Grímsvötn is 100 km² in area, and Bárðarbunga is 60 km².
When volcanic activity occurs under the glacier, the resulting meltwater can lead to a sudden glacial lake outburst flood, known in Icelandic as jökulhlaup, but jökulhlaups are most often caused by accumulation of meltwater due to geothermal activity underneath the glacier. Such jökulhlaups have occasionally triggered volcanic eruptions through the sudden release of pressure.

TCD: LOL you guys are funny fa. Someone reading this who hasn't driven highway before will think its a big deal.
I still maintain it is not. it's the same road. it's the same cars you see in city you will see In highway, the same human beings driving the cars both in city and highway.
and to those mentioning reaction times being low, agility and alertness etc. I would think all those are even needed more in jam packed intracity driving where there are more cars , and keke or motorcycle drivers can just cut in from anywhere, add pedestrians crossing road at will.
intracity is even more difficult.
Anyone who can drive intracity succesfully with all these then highway will be a piece of cake. chyket: Its no big deal.Once you get into the expressway, you will adapt immediately and after about an hour ,you will forget all these fears. Personally I think its easier to drive on the highway than intracity. The major thing you need to do is try and have a companion so that you don't sleep off on the steering. Spot on! I agree with you guys. |

hani2348: hey thats not nice why would you dump her just because she is not romantic, that he doesn't love her in the first place Why wouldn't he? The worst thing the op can do is to stay with or marry an unromantic girl. He will just end up disliking her and being unfaithful to her because what his heart really desires is a romantic girl. So it is better for him to end it now. No nigger wants a boring "take me as I am girl". |

LadyX: Letting her go means he will have 2 kids with different mothers, and will soon find another baby mama. Remember, she is a student so how to do expect her to meet her expenses when it's the op that contributed to her predicament? Op has to take responsibility. Ladyxxxxx my padi Yes op has to take responsibility of caring for his son, but he can let go of the baby mum if he wants to. Just because they have a child together does not mean they must be together. And it is not the responsibility of the op to pay her school expenses. |

ronald4lif:
Thank you jare.
It's surprising people forget that the language english is not ours. Some think by having tushed english accent when you're not English is impressive but it's absolutely st*pid. You see an African and ask what's his/her name he says Paul, MarkAnthony and Cindy thinking they are making sense. When an English or American ask what's your name they are expecting your local name; Chima, Adekunle or Omotola. Not some borrowed English name. How many Brazilians, Chinese, Indians or Russians bears an English name? But they speak english too. Some may not understand where I am coming from but this are facts Off topic. By the way, how many Brazilians, Chinese, Indians or Russians do you know? Are these countries English colonies? |
