jaayajaaya: @Calipso I only ask fellows to advise on the process and not to give unnecessary comments like you did. I believe you have not gone through this type of visa process before.
The Embassy knows that my Mum is definitely going to return back to Nigeria, that is why she doesn't need any documents to resent only the Invitation Letter was enough.
But young guys like me need more than an invitation letter, because you have to prove that you will be returning back to Nigeria, that is why I seeking opinion from fellows who have gone through such process before. Hey Mr, u seem to have answered ur question urself. Ur chance of getting the visa is very slim because of your age and also because of ur brother being a german citizen. There's no reason why u can give it a trial. Just have enough documentation to show that u have strong family ties in Nigeria that you will be returning. My other question is, Will you be returning back to Nigeria after ur short visit to germany? |

Haha. Ur friend has prolapsed rectum which can easily be fixed. I know how bad the medical situation is in Nigeria but in the states, its a fairly common surgery especially for older adults but not unusual in young adults. |

sley4life: US consulate in 9ja is very tough. Even with all your documents intact they deny you before the blink of the eye Haha. U re absolutely rite. As much as the new consulate general tries to show that the US embassies in Nigeria are fair in terms of the Issuance of visas, we all know what the truth is. Very difficult to get a visa from either of the embassies. All u can do is keep reapplying and thats about all you can do. its quite unfortunate that the visa fees are nonrefundable. |

miz4oxley: Pleease Akolawole and everyone in the house,I applied for UK student visa and was denied , I did appealed and they have gotten my appeal and they mail me now to send any additional document .please I wil like to know what I could send to them.I want to send to them my new admission letter is that ok.please, If u are appealing ur visa application denial, then its totally up to you to submit documents to show that u do infact deserve a visa. Just sending a new admission letter isn't going to help with ur appeals process. U need to show bank statements (proof of sufficient funds) and strong ties to Nigeria. |
Romance › Re: My New Virgin Girlfriend: Guys What Do You Think? by johnkent(m): 5:08am On Jun 23, 2009 |
Most of the replies on here sounds very Nigerian. Because someone has a degree or is a virgin doesnt make her any better than the girl next door and thats not a good reason for him to marry her. There is more to falling in love and getting married to someone than being a graduate or being a virgin. That is so 1950's. |

Because he got her married absolutely doesnt mean that they will be getting married but i know know one thing for sure which is that he wont be getting married to the girl in the UK. The the pregnant girl would be stupid to marry him too. This is a BIG time mess. |

Laruze: CDHC got back to me exactly a month after submitting my application. My course is a 10months PG diploma in Wireless telecomunication and cost 2.3M. He has 3.5M in fixed deposit, whch i provided d statmt n letter 4m d bank and about 2.6M in his personal acct statement with landed property worth 10m and CSCS acct statment that presently worth abt 2.3m and his tax clearance card. I only wanted to make CDHC believe i will cme back 2 naija, that ws y i said i had 2 come monitor his poultry biz since his getting old and am d only son, though he has 2 dependant bt made CDHC understand that he has no dependant. moreso i made dem understand the prospect of a wireless ntw engr in nigeria, and the readily available jobs in this sector n also provide a study leave letter 4m my employer. I included my toefl result, professional certificates, uni xcript, resume, nysc cert, and other relevant docs(all originals), my statemt, CSCS, and my offer of employment letter, accomodation letter 4m a family friend i will b putting up wit I even went ahead to list the cost of my stay in canada, b reaking it down 4m tuition, telephone bills and xport within canada.
Really i dont understand their reasons 4 saying i am nt a bonafide student n i dont hav enuf funds.
May God help us 4m CDHC o. To everyone out there that are waiting patiently and anxiously 4m CDHC, i wont to implore u to keep praying 2 God concering ur application cos na only God 4 fit deliver d study permit 2 u o. I intend defering d admission to january, so shd apply 2 d embassy again by oct/nov. cos am nt ready to tie down my docs again, nt dis tym, cos i hav missed d opportunity 2 land a bigger job, bt my original docs ws somwhere on anifowoshe str, V.I while d job pass me by.
Mayb i was unable 2 convince dem enuf or mayb cos i dint pay my tuition, mayb! mayb! Definitely God has a purpose having things work dis way.
May God help us. Everyone holding a Nigerian passport is seen as an intending Immigrant. we all know that less than 10% of nigerian students who travel either to the US or the EU return back to Nigeria immediately after graduation. Dont feel bad when ur visa application is denied. Just look at it as not being soo lucky that day. Other students that got their visas approved didnt present more documents than u did or had more money in their account than u did. Its all a matter of luck. |
