davidif: KIZZYAKA ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!?!?!? OR DO YOU EVEN WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. Please don't decieve Nigerians into coming here on false hopes. I have seen Africans in perilous situations because of these nonsense.
Do you know how stupid that sounds. If a girl from sierra leone or rwanda came to naija looking for citizenship would you marry her? Gosh, people don't think at all. Do you know HOW RARE IT IS FOR A YANKI PERSON TO MARRY A NAIJA? or have we forgotten that we are not the most good looking people on earth. It is very rare for a yanki person (especially a good one) to marry a naija person and the ones that do are usually UGLY AND FAT or those that can't find any men or women. If you see situations like that then you should beware of that marriage, or don't you know how extremely tough if it is to be a relationship with oyinbo people (especially if the person is crazy)? I don't think you know, because if you did you wouldn't want to mislead our people. Even if at the end of the day, you marry the person, do you think that your visa status would just automatically change? or don't you know how long it takes?
Omo if i sound a little angry then bear with me but what is pissing me off is when i see naija students who came here believing all the numerous untruths that they have heard from people when coming here.
Look at this one!!! because they told you that they are doing well does not necessarily mean that they are. I have Nigerian friends who came here and who thought America was heaven, now they are finding out the true reality that IF YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY DON'T COME TO THE US TO SCHOOL. Yes, there are some very lucky few who get assistantship (for grad students) but what happens when your proffessors says that the department doesn't have funding anymore and you lose your assistantship. Then you have to leave school and spend the next 20 years of your life washing dishes and mopping offices for a living while your friends that stayed in naija are building houses and buying cars.
The bible says that one must always be dilligent in ALL THINGS and that he that is the most dilligent would always prosper. The problem is that Nigerians love to leave everything to chance or 'divine intervention'. God gave us brains to plan also. So if you don't have your financial house in order, THEN DON'T COME TO YANKI. Sir, u can say all you want but someone in nigeria will neva understand. NEVER UNDERSTAND. let them come and see how easy it is here. Am a student and I have a 4 bedroom 3 bath house outside of chicago and I just got done paying off my 2009 Nissan Murano(costs about $32,000 USD). With a student visa man, the sky is ur limit. u are just as good as a US citizen. As soon as you land for america, scholarships and assistanships will be everywhere for ya especially if you are nigerian. If you want a work permit, just show your nigerian passport at USCIS office and it will be all yes sir, yes ma and u'll get ur employment authorization card (EAD). Life is good guys. Who say surviving as a student in America dey hard. This is what most of you want to hear and here it is. Goodluck |

The very idea of Mouth Action is alien to Africans. The very idea of anal sex is alien to Africans.

Deep Sight: And i am sure the statisticians have video cameras in all bedrooms of the world to observe the amount of heterosexuals that have anal sex as opposed to the amount of homosexuals that do so? ? ?
Besides should the analysis not be according to ratio and percentage? Of course pretty much all homos have anal sex, so that should be like almost 100%? ? ? What per centage of heteros have anal sex? Can you guess? Can it be any where near the per centage of homos that do so? ? ?
Abeg think twice before you post. I thought u said the only ones having Anal sex are gays huh. u've probably tried it out with ur girl. wont be suprised. No2Atheism: Homosexuality has always been a non-African thing . . .
Even a particular building was dedicated to Homosexuals . . . in ancient Greece . . .
So in reality Homosexuality was something alien to Africans . . . until Africans became infested by Europeans . . .
African culture does not condone nor permit such a perversion . . .
Africans even in ancient times were not reported to be into such nonsense . . .it was mostly the non-Africans that brought such perversions into our midst . . . hence why even in America you find that most African Americans are opposed to homosexuality and most homosexuals in the West are people with with non-african origins . . . Am glad u raised the issue of African americans. This is exactly why you have alot of brotha's on the down low because their family are not accepting of their sexual orientation. The reason why lot of african americans oppose homosexuality is because of lack of education. Most of them are uneducated african americans just like most of you on here. why do all of you want to travel overseas if u think the white man is causing all these problems. Havent u thought about turning gay when u get to the UK or London since the white man can make u turn gay?huh? Superego: The million dollar question I recently asked on a forum, and I will re-present here.
ANY ONE WHO ARGUES THAT HOMOSEXUALITY IS NORMAL OR OK, SHOULD SIMPLY SUPPORT HIS/HER CLAIM BY PROVING TO US THAT THE ANUS IS A SEX ORGAN.
I promise 50,000 Naira today to whoever can prove it is!
Once this cant be done, then there need be no further discussion.
You see, this is the lie made by advocates of this unfortunate medical condition. They are akin to people advising that obesity is normal since it's all about eating. No! the Obese , we love them, but we tell them the blatant truth, that u are fat and either loose weight or die. Same way we can love the homo'sexual'. Notice the "", since it has not yet been proven to be a 'sexuality', yet tell them the truth for their health.
This free book is a great read as it for the first time analyzes from a medical and religious point, everything about homosexuality. A good friend of mine wrote it, and once u read it, u know all the right questions and answers. Every Mosque and Church should have a copy. Did u know that heterosexuals have more anal sex than gays ?? Look up the statistics on that u ignorant son of B |

yeyeruzi: Were they counseled because they slept with kids or they had lust for kids With gay men around, pedophilia will increase for we will have more boys being raped and more girls being raped by the same sex.
Without gays and bisexuals, boys will be safe with men and girls will be safe with women. Now mothers and fathers have more to worry since gays can be pedophiles. We've seen cases here!
Wow !. Trying to remove the word pervert from the dictionary. Not all gays would agree with you.
If you take a Google search! You find men and women desperately trying to track their biological fathers and termed their mothers as selfish; Oprah even had issue on her show. Now Lesbians can make things worse! More perverts, More problems!
First we have rapist who rape sisters and mothers! Men and women felt concerned and would do anything within their mights to protect women.
But now we have new problems. straight men now have to watch their own backs and try to identify homos.
And more problems straight women had to watch their own backs too from females and try to identify lesbians!
Now you talk of homophobia? You say you are not gay. If you happen to be raped, like some case here, would you love them or fear them and be more careful of them for they had to your problems?
More perverts, more problems! Have u been raped by a person of same sex before ?? I would appreciate if you could find the statistics on rape by homosexuals in Nigeria |

Heh heh, Its nice to know what you even think of heterosexuals who even support your being.
What other cleaner, non-devilish, ways can you have children?
Answer my questions, if you can: pedophiles whether they are gay or not are judged as criminals. Can you tell what cause pedophiles to be attracted naturally to children and why it was regarded as a crime when they can't help them selves?
Why are they not protected when they have no control over their lust? Yeah, am referring to heterosexuals like u. Boi, u are so close minded. I dont have to aurgue with ya. yeyeruzi: Do the American psychological association consider pedophilia a disease ? They are thrown in Jail.
If you have a male relative that sleeps with his very own consenting adult daughter as lovers, would you give them the thumbs up? I guess you would or is it non of your business?
You have not said what causes pedophilia, homosexuals where one is a crime even though they can't naturally help it.
how do you, as a gay, intend to procreate? Lets hear it from you You are making a stupid argument. Folks like you always raise the issue of rape and paedophilia when it comes to homosexuality and it just doesnt make any sense. they are totally different. Most paedophiliacs and rapists are heterosexual so ur argument holds no water. And then on the issue of procreation, u just asked a dumb question. Do you know how many children y'all heterosexuals give up after brith?? Millions of kids are born into very disfunctional families and are forced to be raised in foster homes. there are kids out there that needs to be adopted and i dont see why a gay couple cant raise them kids since y'all heterosexuals are only good at giving birth to the kids and not taking care of em. Again, remember that Catholic priests dont get married so i'll appreciate if you go talk to the POPE about procreation. Thank you very much. |

Gay folk dont want u to love them or accept them. All gays dont care what the world thinks about them because they are happy in their own little world. All they re asking for is basic human rights. The rights that u have as a heterosexual. How hard is that? Again, homosexuality is not as disease as much as you would want it to be. There isnt any cure. I guess there is a cure also for being heterosexual. Although alot of us have different views on this topic, we need to be tolerant of individuals who dont share thesame religious beliefs wit us. Gays are humans just like us and if we cant be tolerating of them as christians, then i dont even know why we are christains in the first place because the first thing i learned as a kid in the catholic church was LOVE LOVE LOVE and if we cant love one another regardless of sexual orientation and religious beliefs, then we have a huge problem. |

I suppose, with your intelligence, education and understanding, accepting or concluding that there is no way out (neglecting research for a cure or solution ) but to accept homosexuality blindly is the right thing!
Let the gay seek for help and show the world they are not ready to live with such abnormally and the world government would help in finding a cure/solution.

justwise: Good question When u graduate, you can can apply for OPT which allows you to work for about a yr. Very few students with some science degrees are allowed to work for about 2 yrs i think and after that, u've got to go home. Getting Greencard after the OPT expires is almost impossible unless u get married to a US citizen. Another option for most science students is applying for H1B visa through an employers but because of the number of people that apply for it and the limited visa, its just a game of luck as u'll probably not get it. Another option is having an employer file for greencard for you but this can take up to 10yrs depending on ur country of citizenship. The thing about this route is that while u're application is pending, u'll have to be legally present in the US all those yrs ( U'll have to continue to maintain f-1 stautus and NOT WORK WITHOUT AUTHORISATION) which is very hard to do. that means that u're chances of getting the greencard is slim because u'll probably be out of status by the time ur visa number is available. Having said that thou, u can request that ur visa number be sent to a US consulate in ur country of permanent residence where u can go pick up the visa but the thing is that the visa can be refused because of illegal stay in the US. The easiest way for most students that graduate from US colleges to live and work here is to get married to a USC you love. Getting married for papers will be very tough if you hold a NIGERIAN passport. |

Most of y'all that are saying all these about gays are probably gays urselves; just trying to supress your feelings. U guys will be suprised as to how many people that u love who are gay but cant come out to you because of how u may feel about them. How would you feel living a life that isnt meant for you? Most gay men in Nigeria that are married to women are never happy. They end us still sleeping with other men. I read someone talking about he has friends that used to be gay but are straight now. I would advise that you dont let any of those men marry anyone that u love because they'll be cheating on them with other men. The only reason they are acting straight is because of the oppression against gays in Nigeria and they re probably scared of losing u and other close friends. its quite unfortunate they have to live a fake life. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. |

Very few people like myself come to the US as a student and have it easy for them. Had family who put me up and took care of my tuition for 4 yrs. I remember looking for a job while in sch and my mom was laughing at me. She kept saying i didnt bring u here to work but to go sch and i expect all A's. I remember my other african friends who were here on student visas and practically had to work outta campus illegally to make ends meet. Most of them couldnt graduate and the few that graduated were able to do so because they were getting somewhat support from home.
yeah, i totally understand folks wanting to study in the states but u really have to be able to support yourself for the entire years that u'll be studying. Now i understand why the embassy refuse visas to students who cant show proof that they can pay their tuition because there is absolutely no way u can make it working 20 hrs/wk on campus for about $8/hr. U cant even live on that pay let alone pay tuition. Thats why alot of students drop outta school. |

Theblessed: Hmmmm! For we not to get judged, we must not judge! Judgement is for God Almighty. Remember, he created homosexuals too and the only one QUALIFIED TO JUDGE and CONDEMN them - not YOU and I.
What if your son or daughter or your only child, niece and nephew is a homosexual, what would you do? Kill them? Disown them? Exclude/Isolate them? Spit at them or what? All these are wrong and won't change a thing in your life or their lives. So, be tolerant, inclusive and accommodating of others with difference. Even God did not exclude them in his creation, why you? Abi, no be God created them and put them in this WORLD called EARTH as you and I? Or did he put them in different globe? Therefore, if you can honestly answer these questions then, you'd know there's nothing to be afraid of, for JUDGEMENT IS FOR THE LORD!
To me, God himself would have to explain this CONDITION to us. Why we are all the same in image (God's image) but different in our characters and behaviours (understand the devil has a hand in these things but I need to learn from the creator himself why? Sure, people all over the world would like to know too). And for those, who are unforgiven about this, remember, all sins carry EQUAL PUNISHMENT, no matter how grave they seem. So, if you'd never sinned then, you're most qualified to condemn this group otherwise may I ask that we, live and let live!!! Nicely said. |
