PoliticsRe: Reps Okay 10 New States by Johnnny(m): 12:50pm On May 05, 2010
I don't really understand the way this country is being governed sef?

Is there any strategic plan or map that we are supposed to be following in this country at all? Anybody can just sleep and wake up and suggest any rubbish and the next thing it becomes a bill to be debated.

Do we have any thing like a roadmap we are trying to follow? Is there any objective we are working towards? and ways of achieving them? Or is it just live and get-by attitude?

Why cant our leaders just sit down, create a SMART idea of how this country can become a developed one, and develop a strategic plan of achieving that idea, be it short term or long term.

@showbobo&Okonji i think i have not done anything wrong to both of you before? that is my own opinion about jay jay.i have beeing in camp 3times with Jay jay and his attitude towards us the new invitee was very bad.i respect kanu & yobo for been friendly with everybody in the camp.@showbobo dont expect me to trade words with you beacuse i dont join issues with people below me.thank you
@Mallorca, what point are you trying to prove here? - because I have never heard or read anywhere that young players invited to camp were snubbed by Okocha. Are you sure you are not talking about yourself when you are referring to Jayjay Okocha - because from the bolded portion above, it is you that looks down on people.

So delighted they lost despite I am a Barca Fans. Because PEOPLE tend to make Barca look like the club is super human and people make Messi look as if is from another planet calling him the greatest player of all time which even Argentina his country qualify for world cup through help of God so where was he yesterday? I said it on and on Barca or Messi is space player if the space is choke off him or Barca as a team the will not do anything and that was the exact what Inter did last night good for Barca they will know now they are not alien at all they are homan with normal blood in them and never always belief you are the best and always you have to win and I 'm sure if care not taking they will loose at home.
Pity! Pity!!
Now I see some people are just so confused they dont even think before typing rubbish.

We must keep our heads up. The inter game is gone now, lets
concentrate on the next game with Xeres, I am a bit uneasy
with Real Madrid breathing down our neck.

Up Barca.

Beaten or not. I remain Barca fan.

Now I know why most fans of other clubs dont like Barca, everyone of them has been looking forward to a team that can beat Barca. No team is unbeatable in the world.

Barca still remain a force to reckon with in world club football.

Up Barca. Up Mourinho - Good tactics
ComputersRe: Zoom Broadband The Best by Johnnny(m): 4:48pm On Apr 19, 2010
Zoom is ok in Lagos

I have two plans with them. The one I use in Lagos is ok, fast at least for my own use but the one I sent to my people in Ibadan is very slow, I have complained and they have tried their best, but I think it is just the network in Ibadan that is slow.

The only problem I have with them now is recharging my account, I have to always go to their office in V/Island to recharge. You cant get their recharge cards around, you must go to their offices to get recharged.

My boss just gave me the job of getting him a laptop that I can vouch for.

Thanks for the advice.
SportsRe: Calling Lionel Messi The Greatest Player In The World Must Stop! - Pele by Johnnny(m): 12:29pm On Apr 15, 2010
Who started this issue of Messi being the greatest sef? Messi or Pele

Is it Messi that acclaimed himself to be the greatest player?
I have not read in any medium where Messi has said anything about being the greatest. Even when he was interviewed after the el classico with Madrid, about him and C. Ronaldo - he said it is not about who is the best.

So, I don't get what Pele hopes to achieve with his statement.

PoliticsRe: Gadaffi Again, Calls For Nigeria’s Split : Along Ethnic Lines by Johnnny(m): 11:42am On Mar 31, 2010
I have been thinking for sometime now about this country Nigeria.

I may be wrong but from my own perspective, I dont see any thing that we do together as a country, we are always bringing quota systems into everything we do, we dont discuss anything without taking it to a tribal level.
Every potential public office holders are all looking for their own cut of the national cake.  When will that cake go around?  We cannot all be in govt.

With the exception of sports (Football especially), there is no other function, event or situation where you can see people of this country come out and act as one.  (on this I stand to be corrected).

Even our so called independence day celebrations has for long lost it luster and importance. (People now stay indoors or go on social visits on those days, ask them why are not at work, they don't even know but that it is a public holiday sha).

To all those against splitting.  Please, please can U candidly tell us the solution to this battered country -Nigeria?

To corruption in government - Federal, state and Local govts?

To senseless killings in the North?  And so on,

I am not comfortable with the option of splitting the country and at the same time not still comfortable with being in this country.  Please help us find something in between.

Maybe, a country like United States of Nigeria will be a better option, with all states having autonomy, though still have the same country, but giving absolute powers to each federating units (states) to control their own stuffs the way and manner that suits them.

Yes, NFF are to blame but we can all contribute by supporting our local NPL teams, the stadia are empty, leave the beer parlours and support local football.

This is what you get when Nigerians abandon Insurance, Enyimba, Warri Wolves for Arsenal, Barca, Chelsea and Man U.

You can't reap where you have not sown.
So what? You expect me to go sit in a stadium and get bathed with urine in 'pure water sachets'. Or get morged like it happened in Aba last year during the Eyimba fans wahala? Lailai, I will rather stay at home and watch my Barca playing. If the Nigerian league can be televisied, why not? I will gladly follow it. But get urine all over my body all in the name of football. No, can't do

Jokes EtcCrack Ya Ribs! by Johnnny(op): 11:59am On Mar 25, 2010
Hi! everyone,

Crack ya ribs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy.

1.) Three pastors were discussing, one said his problem is stealing, he can not stop stealing from the church’s money and if his church members find out, it would be disastrous. The second pastor said his own problem is adultery, he had slept with almost every woman in the church both married and unmarried. His church members must not find out. The third pastor said his problem is that he can not do without gossiping, and everybody must know what he just found out. He then excused himself and immediately the other two pastors fainted.

2.) To surprise her husband an executive’s wife decided to stop by his office.
On entering the office, she saw the secretary on her husband’s laps.
In order to defend himself the husband said “budget cut or no budget cut management must do something.
I and my secretary cannot be sharing this office with just a single seat.”

3.) Dad asked his son: whenever I beat you how do you stop your anger?

Son replies: I start cleaning the toilet.

Dad asked: How does that help you?

Son: I clean it with your tooth brush.

4.) Three guys were gisting at a beer parlour.
The first guy said when my wife was pregnant she was reading a book; a tale of two cities and she gave birth to twins.
The second said his wife was reading the three musketeers and she gave birth to triplets.
The third guy dropped his beer bottle and started running home his friends started running after him to know what the problem was.
When they got to his house they saw him burning a book and they asked why. He said his wife was reading Ali Baba and the forty thieves and she is pregnant……not in this house ……it can not happen! Lailai, I no go gree.

5.) One day, a man was sitting in his office on the 19th floor of a building when a man came running in to his office and shouted, “John, your daughter, Anna just died in an accident right opposite this building”.
The gentleman was in panic. Not knowing what to do, he jumped out through his office window.
While coming down, when he was near the 14th floor, he remembered he does not have a daughter named Anna. When he was near the 7th floor, he remembered he was not even married yet.
When he was about to hit the ground, he remembered that his name was not even John!

N.B. This is what stress does. Take things easy and relax as much as you can. It is not all about work! Work! Work! Work.

Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People are free to comment on whatever they want. After all people would have suggested the same thing about the Old Russia, or Yugoslavia, South and North Korea.

It might sound like being insensitive but it the truth, and we better start telling ourselves that. Do Nigerians not know that we are in a very loveless marriage. Do we not know that all is not well with our country, are we too scared to own up to this truth, and if some is bold enough to say what is obvious, we react childishly by throwing out our toys? Let us all grow up and deal with issue like adults rather than bury our ugly heads in the sand.

Nigeria does not behave like a country that is one full stop.
Yeah, and also like a child, we will soon go and pick up our toys with shame, by returning the ambassador to Libya
