No, its not to be celebrated but whats to be done? Ironically, most of the movies churned out of Hollywood are done by people who have never been out of their corner of the world. We have bigger problems than being portrayed as hookers and criminals (which, incidentally, is what we seem to be good at portraying by ourselves without any Hollywood movie).
We Nigerians make such a big to-do about being 'one in every 5 black people' in Africa then we're pissed when our 'sins' are displayed on TV? We like the good things of fame and not the bad?

I am now 37years old, married with a child. My wife just lost her job. I work in a bank as a Contract staff, paid N28,000 monthly. I just finished my OND in mass communication through parttime schooling.

My problem now is that I don't know what next to do based on the following facts of my life:

1. My salary is not sufficient for the upkeep of my family anymore,
2. At 37, should I still proceed on doing my HND since I will be over 40 by the time i am through
3. Should I just resign myself to fate and start helping my child to build a better future inorder not to repeat
the failures of my life?

I need urgent help, I am very confused. I don't know the next step to take, pls. help
