I am still finding difficult to comment on yesterday's game.  Its like I should just get hold of one member of that team
and beat him mercilessly to show him what patriotism to one's country is all about.

I have this question to ask that Amodu or whatever he call himself

I will like to know what Olofinjana is doing on that field, that guy as been useless eva since he came to the national team, give him the ball and leave him facing the goal, the next thing he does is start looking around for mikel.

I am still boiling, will contribute more tomorrow.  Jus cant take this shit anymore.  angry  angry  angry

RomanceRe: Difference Between A Soul Mate And A Life Partner? by Johnnny(m): 5:00pm On Sep 03, 2009
Bishopking:
lets do some analysis here! there are some people that you think alike. I mean someone who always see things the way you see it. No matter how complex the issue: no matter how far apart you are, S/he would respond the way you would. You always have soft spot for such person. You don't mind bending the rules for him/her without any string attached. Before you make an important decision, you would think of what that person would do if s/he was to make the same decision. The person may be of the same sex or opposite sex. Such a person is your soul mate. S/he may be a friend, Spouse, mentor, acquaintance, classmate, colleague etc. Example: David and Jonathan in the bible. A life partner sometimes may be a soul mate, but rarely.

Let me add this two types

1. Satanic Kiss - explains itself (kiss from satan)

2. Vampire kiss - well, a kiss that turns you immortal the next day, but the downside is that you will forever run from sunlight for the rest of your wretched life.

disastrous!!! GOD!!! , my best friend had hinted her(they were neighbours) that i liked her and would want to see her in his Sitting room.
Believe me, i thot it was going to be so easy but immediately she opened the door, guy, my liver cut! undecided
As she sat down, i 'walked over' to the refridgerator,opened it to get her , nothing in particular; at this juncture, i was shaking and looking like someone suffering from parkinson's disease, believe you me, I JUST WANTED THE FLOOR TO OPEN AND SWALLOW ME!
i kept staring into the fridge doing nothing, saying nothing, my mind just went blank!!!. sad
after about 2min, she was like, helloooo and even with that, i still couldnt say or do anything. After another minute of silence, i just walked out of the room feeling like the most stupid person on earth never wanting to set my eyes on her again.
my friend laughed, and laughed and laughed which made the chick feel very embarrassed and stupid as well.
since then till today, i have never tried toasting again! angry
follypimpi:
Then in High school,I so much fancy a girl AISHA,i always give her my lunch food,let her copy me when we having exams,to the point i let her hit me several times when we playing but couldnt find the guts to tell her i want her to be my GF,sum new dude got a transfer to my class and everything changed,he was bold he "toasted" and she agreed,i was so angry  that i stopped giving her my lunch food and moved my sit so she would stop copying me,eventually she got the Message but she still didnt breakup with him.
You guys will not kill me with laughter o  grin grin grin

Mine was rather pathetic, there was this new girl that came to my school, Oluchi by name, tall and beatiful, always pestering me, always around me, copy my notes, sits beside me to giraffe during exams and always speaking softly in my ears, my friends kept teasing me that she is my girlfriend.  So, I made up my mind to talk to her one day during lunchbreak.   I bought food for both of us (same plate) and she started eating straightaway, I was just looking at her tongue-tied and couldnt talk, after a while, she said Johnnny eat now, I said I was fasting, she finished the food and we left for class.

I was so angry with mysef the next day when one of my friends told me he toasted her dat same evening after school and she agreed.

I am still angry at mysef till today for being dat stupid.

I have seen Sin City by Bruce Willis (of Die hard series) almost 4 times and could not actually make a head or tail of the whole movie, there is so much twists and diversions that I naturally gets confused along the way.

TV/MoviesRe: Official Thread of Gulder Ultimate Search 6 by Johnnny(m): 3:49pm On Aug 10, 2009
As far as I am concerned, GUS 6 had been decided even before it started.

I will base my observation on the last task that lead to the winning.

In all competition I have seen and watched, the task is a mockery of the highest level. Who would GUS ask two competitors to take the same route to the hills of heaven while placing clues along the route which will guide them there.

If they want us to believe that they are transparent. They should have created two separate routes having same clues and leading to the same place, let each search for his own clues and decipher its meaning alone. Then whoever get to the Hill of Heaven first should start searching for the horn immediately without waiting for his competitor (instead of making them partners on one route). angry angry angry

It would not surprise me if we later got to know that someone pointed to Uche the direction he should search.
(I suspect the Camera man - just joking grin grin grin)

Why? So you can face ridiculous evictions like Wale's?

Its not worth it.
TV/MoviesRe: Ultimate Search 6: Wale Alabi Eviction Was Political by Johnnny(m): 3:01pm On Jul 30, 2009
teeewai:
would av been so vague if i say wale's eviction was political

but for some reasons, i fink his eviction was totally uncalled for, hes such a chap thats got what (confidence/overconfidence) we need to instill in our hearts as nigerians, we need to build confidence in our youths, in our system to make nigeria a better place

wale's confidence "grew" into OVERCONFIDENCE due to the fact that he was seen as a threat to all other contestants and he capitalised on this to favor his stakes, he tied the totem to his feet each 9te so that it wnt be stolen by BOB, Without sentiments there is no other male contestant that has the spirit, is it

elvis, who's deserved eviction was turned into a mere punishment OR

chuks, who's got the body BUT no sense(without apologies) i cant just wait to see those chics outdoing these guyz

who said he has no team spirithuhhuh?, he knew when to stop fighting to fight another day

Above all, lets not be sentimental about this, lets "take" the litle wisdom from GUS and apply it to our daily activities

WALE this goes out to you & all nlders, my daily creed

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
Good talk my brother.

Though Wale's eviction was both uncalled for and unfair; I dont see any thing political or tribalistic about it.

Its just a wrong decision made by those useless, invincible council members (more or less like our so called House of rep. and Senate members).

PoliticsRe: Tax: Lagos Pastors Go To Court by Johnnny(m): 5:09pm On Jun 08, 2009
@kobojunkie

Kobojunkie:
Do you know what taxes your dad ought to pay though? Are you aware as a citizen what taxes you are supposed to pay and what taxes you are not to pay?
Thank you for chipping in that one. I agree with you, I think I shud consult the tax authorities to get info on what you just said.

Kobojunkie:
So, if your father is really a criminal( a tax evader) as you claim, are you yourself informed enough to educate him on the kind of taxes he may be required to pay or not pay and the papers he will need to file with the authorities regardless of his situation each year or as required? I ask this because I see people confusing their personal issues with churches and leaders, with taxes that businesses are required or not required to pay.
About my father being a criminal. Well, I will not take you on based on dat word. But after all said and done. My opinion on this issue is that pastors or Imams even Babalawos shud not wait to be compelled to pay their taxes to the government.

Thanks.
PoliticsRe: Tax: Lagos Pastors Go To Court by Johnnny(m): 4:39pm On Jun 08, 2009
@ kobojunkie

My dad has not been paying taxes jus like the rest of dem hiding under the umbrella of the church not being a profit making organisation.

But I think he shud pay

I am still trying to make him see reasons why he shud pay.

There was these situation years back, when he had to do something in the Local Government Council and was asked to present his 3years tax clearance, all his explanation of being a clergy did not yield any result because its a requirement for whatever he wanted to do.  He had to call on my uncle (his brother) who came to present his.

I think he makes you as a minister of God, responsible and honest just like what u preached.

Set the example.
PoliticsRe: Tax: Lagos Pastors Go To Court by Johnnny(m): 4:16pm On Jun 08, 2009
@ djcrucifix

It's ok jare, my guy

dey will pay!

How dem go dey chop, chop chop and not put anytin back into the society.

Dey Use the same roads we use
Dey Send their children to the same school we send ours
Dey buy from the same market stalls we buy from
Dey enjoy the same benefit we all benefit

If they pay for PHCN, Water, Security etc just as we all do in Lagos. why should dey be exempted from taxes. Let them pay

dey are supposed to lay good examples for we their members to follow.

Same applies to my Dad!  Sorry I forgot to tell you my father is a Minister of God in a pentecostal Church.

djcrucifix:
why dem no wan pay tax? we pay tithes, offerings and other things.

 i don't think it's a bad idea for religious houses to pay tax cos it's going to benefit a lot of people. besides isn't that wat christianity is about? helping people?. even bros J told is to pay our tithes sef. so they should stop being stingy and pay the goddamn thing!.

  besides how much are they charging them sef? compared to wat we donate to the work of the lord daily, weekly, monthly and annually.
Gbam!!!   True talk.

There are no exemptions in the payment of tithes in the church, so there should be no exemptions in the payment of tax, especially since it is used to development.

Besides, if a religious organisation is on fire and the fire service is used in putting off the fire, is that not cheating?

Moreover, why cant religious institutions emulate their forebearers, for example Jesus Christ did pay tax while giving instruction that you give what belong to Ceazar to Ceazar. In the same vein "GIVE WHAT IS THE GOVERNMENT'S TO THE GOVERNMENT".

Period.
RomanceRe: Torn Between A Major Decision by Johnnny(m): 10:11am On Mar 17, 2009
debosky:
@ van der jo

My advice is this : FORGET about both of them!

One is a drama queen who is jealous, cheats on you and claims she 'loves you'. The other you haven't really met, call her for an hour a day and she is demanding transport money and claiming she is in a relationship because you didn't have a chance to send her money huh

Both of them are going to cause you plenty of heartache, and frankly don't sound like they are ready for a serious relationship.

If you want to marry next year like you say, you better forget these two and begin looking afresh. They both have serious problems and neither seems like the kind of woman suitable for marriage, at least not at the moment.

They are messing with you and trying to manipulate you - one is using threats that she is in a relationship, the other is using jealousy. Manipulative women (or men) will ruin you.

Avoid them both and search for a quality partner.
Best advice, Take it
