This one that u are preaching and advocating divorce, do u have any proposed plan in view that will cater for the divorcee? Honestly I think u need to channel this crusade holistically and in a more detailed format. Like an elder statesman of this section rightly pointed out, we have various degree of abuse, which may become value laden depending on our personal interpretation.

Abuse constitute part of our everyday life, on a varying level. Personally, life itself is abusive and unfair, but does that warrant suicide? The way u propagate and promulgate divorce makes it seem like the optimum and ultimate solution to marital crisis, which is very far from the truth. Challenges do come up in every facet of our lives, of which some are one off.

U can't totally take perseverance, endurance, tolerance and patience from any fruitful marriage, likewise anything good. My mum once exercised these qualities and today she is reaping the benefit. In as much we are agitating against DV, we should as much try to preach divorce as the least option, not as the first, ultimate and optimum solution.

The emotional and psychological long term effect of divorce on the kids and every one involved isn't what any one would wish to experience. The divorcees in the house can attest to this. Tone down on divorce, DV can never be totally eradicated, even though most women portray victims to be preponderantly women, but children also suffer from DV perpetrated by their mothers, any campaign on this?

Pls don't devalue the marriage institution by parading divorce as the optimum solution to frivolous marital issues....

It's the responsibility of either party to ensure it doesn't degenerate into physical combat, not one. When u are quick to hit someone, u should also be ready to take responsibility for your actions and accept any counter attack that comes your way. Preaching a woman can hit a man studiously incite women to domestic violence. What happens to being a gentle woman?

Both gender should refrain from it, the mitigation of domestic violence requires the collective effort of everyone and anyone strong enough to instigate domestic violence, should also be strong enough to accept whatever comes after, not playing the victim card...

This is interesting, will the polystyrene be use as support for the concrete slab? Will it be able to withstand the load of the slab because of its light weight? Or it's gonna be use as both the beam and the slab?

This is what we should be telling the kids at school......it all starts from there. Kids who support abuse should be shunned by their friends and made to seek counseling. I don't think that is what we should be telling our kids, that's bias. That way we are implicitly encouraging girls to engage in domestic violence with impunity.

Sure we gonna carry out soil tests. I just wanted to sample opinions, as someone opined that we might use those pile foundation we see on tv. Like those hotels and skyscrappers in dubai, I never thought 5 storey building would require much. I'm a novice when it comes to construction though....

Lol... Polygamy is just a more appealing definition of the word 'cheating' for a man. Polygamy starts from having extra marital affairs (cheating), a man must court a woman before marrying her, during that stage of courtship, the man is automatically cheating on his wife, thereafter the man brings in the woman. Most polygamous marriages are end products of the act cheating.

So I think the men cheating is somewhat justified by the bible to some extent, as most of the men in the bible had more than one wife...

Men were studiously permitted to cheat in the bible by allowing them to have more than one partner. Honestly, the bible preaches women playing second fiddle to men. The biology composition of a woman wouldn't even permit people to applaud a woman when she cheat. If A,B, and C enters a woman, How would u know the real father of the child if not scientifically proven?

There is no way to avoid casting concrete which is called the roof beam. Whether casting insitu facial or no facial at all, roof beam is absolutely important. That is what the rafters are tied on and it evenly distributes the entire roof's upward (lift) and downward (weight) forces.

The weight of cast insitu facial is very significant and introduces a torsional force on the roof beam and likewise load carrying walls. It will be dangerous if that wall or roof beam is not strong enough to withstand the overhand weight of the facial.

I have seen a failed in situ facial aka parapet.

Likewise me, the polystyrene fascia even seem more expensive to me, as I can see some concrete casting in the pics posted above. As regards weight, I don't think the difference is going to be much. I just see it as a covering material, same as precast concrete fascia, but I think polystyrene is more expensive.
