lexiconkabir:No one could prove anything to someone who thinks Hebrews 1:6 is about Adam. And I usually don't waste time answering confusion: lexiconkabir: |
Jozzy4:It was God the Word who became flesh, He is the image of the Father So God died ?God's flesh body died, yes. His eternal Spirit of course never died. Stop calling an absurdity a mystery .joz calls "God was manifest in the flesh", an absurdity 1Ti_3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. |
Emusan, it's useless discussing with lex, when it's so obvious that it's the Father talking of the son Jesus christ in Hebrew 1:8 and he cannot see it, that just shows what mixing the Bible with the koran will do. Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Heb 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. The Father is the God of the Son-Jesus Christ (verse 9) The Son is God (verse eight) The Father and the Son are the one God only Christians with the Holy spirit can understand this Because non believers have been blinded and have no understanding of the truth, they don't believe, and change what the scriptures say lexiconkabir: |
Jozzy4:@bold, why does joz only post that part: 1Co 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. The whole verse is another verse that shows Jesus Christ along with the Father is God. But we are also one in the same sense ! John 17:22 , Does it mean we are Almighty God and a part of trinity too?Dumb, no understanding. Check the numbers ! Just admit you serve TWO Gods .You don't understand how the Father and the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is needed, it's you who say the Father and the Son is two God's Mar_12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Thats why God prayed to the other God the Father . And when God 1 died , the other God didnt die .Has anyone in this place less understanding than this one We are also one In The same sense (john 17:22)twisting, playing with the scriptures, it's all you do Since It was God that was manifested in the FLESH , do you now admit Mary is the mother of God ?I explained it very well, but you are not serious, truth is foreign to you, you cannot possibly understand Spurious Text .believer of jw says scripture is not true: johnw74: 1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. |
Jozzy4:You don't understand anything at all, you reject all the scriptures I post, and what you say yourself is confused. 2Co_4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Blinded and lost by their own choice of rejecting the truth. |
lexiconkabir:There is no point discussing with someone who thinks Hebrews 1:6 is talking about Adam. I'm not interisted in discussing the Bible in comparison with the koran either. |
Jozzy4:I was going to say "now don't be bad spirited", and then I remembered lex struck out one scripture for another so it was understandable of me to mistake him for jw as to the below, you don't believe the two scriptures posted, that's why I also mistook you for jw you are more jw than Christian, that's for sure, That mean we are also equal with God , Philipian 2:5 said we sud keep that same mind thats in Christ Jesus Thank God, he didnt say I and my Father are ONE GOD.Duh, that's what the verse means Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one. Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word Jesus is God, Father is God, I and my Father are one 1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory 1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost is one, one what? one Spirit, one God jw cannot possibly understand it, oh that's right you are not jw, It's understandable that I keep forgetting that. |
lexiconkabir:@ red, Hebrews 1:6 is talking of Jesus Christ, that is clear. Adam was not begotten of God, God made him from the dust of the ground. Jesus Christ being begotten means He is from God, part of God. He is the only begotten of God. the Father and the Son is God Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Pro 8:22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. |
Maamin:Yet you don't believe them, you jw aren't u Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: ...we are also in the form of God i.e (image of God), does that makes us equal with God also? NO!Scripture doesn't say we are equal with God, but scripture does say that Jesus Christ thought it not robbery to be equal with God, and equal is the correct word there Joh 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one. yet the scripture can not be broken, is high time we quit making the scripture interpret our own desire.Yes it's high time jw do that |
Pro 8:22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. The LORD possessed the Word before His works of old, if the Lord had created the Word then that would have been a work, but the LORD possesses the Word before His works of old. John 1:1 is a second witness to possessed being the right word in Proverbs 8:22, Joh 1:1 ....the Word was with God, the Word was with God, (not, the Word was created by God.) Pro 8:22 The LORD possessed me Joh 1:1 ....the Word was with God |
Maamin:Yet Jesus Christ considered Himself equal with the Father, because along with the Father He is God. Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The scriptures are true, believe them, if you use scripture against scripture, (strike out one and believe the other) it's because you don't know or understand the scriptures. Maamin: 9:6 [s]which placed Him in Equality with the Father.[/s] |
JMANO5: If u are so sure of ur stand, let's discuss this with open mind. I assure u, u are going to meet a surprise. dolphinheart: For the benefit of others who seek the truth, can you provide answers to the question if you know it? jw are completely unable to accept the truth, scriptures, and what people say johnw74: Stop puffing yourself up, you know I have nothing to discuss with non believers, |
Q. what do Elephant's do when they see jw coming A. RUN |
paulGrundy:jw wouldn't know the diffrence between a letter box and an Elephant's behind don't send them to post your letters. |
Not only do scriptures say that Jesus Christ is to be worshiped, which jw does not believe, and try and belittle Jesus saying such things as: (1) does Jesus have a God? (2) was Jesus sent ? (3) who sent Jesus ? (4) who do you think is superior , Jesus or the one who sent him . (5) is Jesus the father? (6) if you think Jesus is not the father, who do you think deserves our worship , Jesus , the father or both ? (7 ) is Christ under subjection to anybody ? (cool if you are in subjection to another, is that person not superior to you ? In their warped thinking they think these questions show that Jesus Christ is not to be worshiped. Even without any scriptures saying so, Christians know that Jesus Christ-God is to be worshiped Jesus Christ is God and God is to be worshiped: John said "the Word was God": Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Timothy said "Jesus is God": 1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Jesus shows "He is God" along with the Father: Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one. Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Lord in that verse is "kurios" meaning God, "God our God is one God", God is one God, the Father and I are one Thomas called Jesus "God": John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. David called Jesus Christ "God": Psa 45:6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Isaiah said "God is with us": Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Immanuel means: "with us is God". Matthew said "God is with us": Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Jesus Christ is "equal to God", that is:- the Word was with God, the Word was God: Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Titus called our saviour Jesus Christ, "the Great God": Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Father God calls Jesus Christ "God" Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of John shows "the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit to be God": 1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Mar_12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Jesus Christ-God certainly is worshiped by believers-Christians, and of course He is not worshiped by antichrists, unbelievers, sects, false religion. |
JMAN05:Discussing scripture with jw who change what the scriptures say, would be for me, like discussing scriptures with the devil. |
JMAN05:Stop puffing yourself up, you know I have nothing to discuss with non believers, you don't believe the scriptures I posted showing Jesus is to be worshipped. |

dolphinheart:should provide you answers, why? jw asks questions thinking he is a teacher, I don't get into discussions with jw who know little, and rejects the scriptures given, they know that, but truth is difficult for them. Jesus Christ is to be worshiped is Biblical, but you reject the scriptures, asking questions to try and sidestep them. |
^^^ worship G4352 προσκυνέω proskuneō pros-koo-neh'-o From G4314 and probably a derivative of G2965 (meaning to kiss); to fawn or crouch to, that is, (literally or figuratively) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore): - worship. Total KJV occurrences: 60 kiss, crouch (bow to), prostate oneself in homage, do reverence to, adore, - that's worship |
Is the Jehovah's Witness religion Christian? by Matt Slick The answer to the question is, "No. It is not Christian." Like all non-Christian cults, the Jehovah's Witness' organization distorts the essential doctrines of Christianity. It denies the deity of Christ, His physical resurrection, and salvation by grace. These make it non-Christian. In addition, to support its erring doctrines, the Watchtower organization (which is the author and teacher of all official Jehovah's Witness' theology) has altered the Bible to make it agree with its changing and non-Christian teachings. Typical with cults that use the Bible to support its position is a host of interpretive errors: Taking verses out of their immediate context. Refusing to read verses in the entire Biblical context. Inserting their theological presuppositions into the text. Altering the Biblical text to suit their needs. Latching onto one verse to interpret a host of others. Changing the meanings of words. Proclaiming some passages to be figurative when they contradict their doctrines. Adding to the Word of God. Continue: https://carm.org/is-the-jehovahs-witness-religion-christian |
^^^ They go to lenghts to disagree with the Bible that say's Jesus is worshipped, and they disagree with Father God who said "And let all the angels of God worship him." |
johnw74: And of course all the Angels of God don't worship man, but worship God, they worship Jesus Christ.By the way all the Angels of God that worship Jesus Christ, includes the Angel Michael, he is an Angel of God, right Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. |
^^^ Yet Jozzy4, who says he is not jw but agrees with jw, said Mary did give birth to God. I'm suprised that you jw, agree with me in this truth, that Mary gave birth to the Son of God (that is human-flesh) and that the Spirit of God was not born with Jesus Christ, but has eternally existed, and was given to Jesus with His first breath. But the real truth is jw don't agree with truth, he will wiggle out of agreeing with me. |
horlaleykan:@bold, Yes that is true, Jesus is the only name given in which we can be saved, that alone tells me that Jesus Christ is God. |
^^^ Cornelius and the servant were wrong to worship another man, even Angels have told man not to worship them Rev_22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. The 2 jw posters above are trying to belittle the worship of Jesus Christ. Christians worship Jesus Christ like the scriptures say: Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. Mat 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. Mat 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. Mat 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Joh 9:38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of course all the Angels of God don't worship man, but worship God, they worship Jesus Christ. |
^^^ jw doesn't believe the scriptures that say Jesus Christ is worshipped, no suprise jw say Jesus Christ is a false god: RikoduoSennin: IN THE END THERE SHALL BE ONLY ONE BECAUSE A TRUE GOD HAS NO FATHER. |
For those who understand johnw74: It's very clear and simple for a believer, Mary didn't give birth to God who has always existedAlso A baby's spirit enters it at it's first breath, a persons spirit leaves him at his last breath Mary gave birth to the flesh and blood body of baby Jesus Christ, she didn't give birth to God's Spirit which has existed eternally, God's Spirit entered Jesus at His first breath after being born. And at Jesus last breath He gave up the Spirit Luk 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Job 34:14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; Job 34:15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. Jozzy4: ....do you now accept that Mary gave birth to God ? |
Brown47:I know what I am saying, but you don't, you don't understand even though I explained to you that the flesh human body of Jesus Christ grew inside Mary, and that the Spirit of God didn't grow inside Mary but exists eternally. You cannot see or understand it satan blinds the minds of sectarians-unbelievers 2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. |
Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. Father God said for all the Angels of God to worship Jesus Christ, all the Angels of God includes the Angel Michael. |
No jw don't worship Jesus Christ, but Christians do, because He is to be worshipped: Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. |
The Jesus of the Bible is prayed to (Acts 7:55-60, Psalm 116:4 and Zech. 13:9 with 1 Cor. 1:1-2). The Jesus of the Bible is worshiped (Matt. 2:2, 11, 14:33; 28:9, John 9:35-38, Heb. 1:6). The Jesus of the Bible called God (John 20:28, Heb. 1:eight). |
