European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: West Ham United Vs Chelsea - 3 - 1 (Full Time) by jojothaiv(m): 6:02pm On Aug 20, 2023
Another money gone to waste?

Reminds me about Manchester United spending spree....

Suspect33:
Mid into the season, one of these two things will happen;

1. Caicedo and Lavia will realize that they made a terrible decision to join Chelsea but I'd be too late because they've been tied to Chelsea, thanks to a long term contract

2. Chelsea will realize that the players are not as good as they were thought to be and only shone because they played in average teams but then it'd be too late because they already gave the players very long contracts
grin
Let keep our fingers crossed!

You're good writer and your use of the words stood out for me.

Years back I share some of your sentiments particularly the one that bothers on understanding and compromise not until a knife went through my heart since then, I've guarded my heart jealousy but the irony is I still want to give cupid another chance however the hunt for daily bread is taking much of my time now, I hope to do better when it comes around.

I have nothing but kind words for you and yours. If others as seen from their comments can't be positive with their words that's their problem. Your story will be a different one.

Cheers to you and yours.

As a Yoruba, Yorubas are error, especially the Muslims, and they make up the 60+ percent. The true fairly better ones are very few and are mostly Christians. What have Yoruba Muslims done?? Check any major progress in SW, Yoruba Muslims have no Contribution, and for the past 30 something years, they are the ones more in power mostly.

They are the loudest, they are the Problems etc.

Think of anything, anything at all Good about Soujt west, it is linked to Yoruba Christians, more than 90 Percent! Of the time
Okay.

You sound so sure. I respect that however, anything made by man can also be bypass by man, it make a while but trust me people will find loopholes around it.

Ok Sir.
But you shouldn't be admiring Yoruba, if indeed you are Badagry Man, it should be the other way around (Yorubas admiring Gun/Eguns).
But why?

As a Badagrian, I mustn't admire the Yorubas, wow and I have fellow Badagrian whose first name and probably surnames is in Yoruba, please make me understand.

I don't see anything wrong with that. I've always admire other people way of life regardless of their history or whatever prejudice others may have about them. At this stage, I don't do stereotypes, I hold individual and not their clan or whatever connotations responsible.

Okay... The one Spoken on LTV and Yorùbá Radio stations and TV stations in those days, used to broadcast news sounded a bit close to Yoruba, some Yorubas words or variations were in it.

Notice that I said in those days, that's about 20 years ago, so that if I say now, one would not say because it had been influenced ove the years

Or sub ethnic to Yorubas atleast
The Gun language is totally different from the Yoruba language, a Yoruba speaker hearing the someone speaks the Gun language will have hard time understanding what that person is saying.

Na like dis e dey take start. Later dis one will find himself in the senate or somewhere else and continue the looting. We keep blaming those in power but fail to understand that we elected them from amongst us, they didn't fall from they sky; they have the mindset and mentality of an average Nigerian who sees every leadership opportunity as an avenue to amass wealth.

Back then in school, one of the SUG presidents once used the SUG funds to buy himself a sharp ride, it only got sour because out of his greed, he failed to settle those of higher hierarchy. The aggrieved parties blew the whistle and raised an alarm and the rest was history cheesy
That's just the plain truth.

We ain't saints either and honestly, the redemption this country seek for will start from us.

Whenever there's an accident on the rig, industry players converge to assess what went wrong and learn from it. Just imagine their disappointment when they realise that Nigerian government allows illegal rigs to operate offshore! Tomorrow, you expect other governments to treat this country and its citizens with respect.
