Just yesterday I was talking to Bauchi sweetheart about this and babe talk say na Dem Sabi o, she can't jeopardize her health because of cultural belief, life first before anything.

My people are one funny set of being. Even those that talk, eat and sleep with the religion seems progressive in their thinking than what we have here, little wonder there's a wide gap between the enlightened elites dan arewa and the average bahushes outside.
Education › Re: Amaechina Chimbusonma Nwadiuto Scores Nine A1s In 2023 WASSCE by jojothaiv(m): 1:28pm On Aug 12, 2023
Goodlady:
Lmao. Clap back to the north.
Few days ago, I saw a thread here of a northerner having a good WAEC/JAMB result. Some comments came in like the north are silent achievers blueblue, blabla!
My take: If every region start parading their nest students, for now the north ll take last. Not to castigate them but to tell a reality of their region. And I know a region that can parade thousands of A1 parallel in WAEC and over 300s scores in JAMB.
For now, it's still hard for a 13 years old girl to advance to JSS2, JSS3 or SS1 than to get married which ll likely make her education stopped, in pause mode or in uncertainty.
In this 2023, I heard no secondary school in Zamfara wrote WAEC. The thing was revealed when WAEC was lamenting that they won't release results cos some states owed. https://www.arise.tv/waec-withholds-results-of-candidates-from-eight-states-cites-debt/
And most of those states are from the north. In some schools, I read in the news thay in Bauchi state, some schools had just one teacher to teach all subjects.
See here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/79-bauchi-schools-have-one-teacher-each-says-subeb/%3famp
And there was a time it was one school one teacher in Zamfara: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/12/30/one-school-one-teacher-in-zamfara%3famp=1
It was in that same Zamfara that a certain gov is fond of marrying small children while hiding under Islam. Lastly, the way the north receive Islamic religion is too harsh for their economic development. It's the opposite of what's practiced in Saudi Arabia where they got the thing.
The future of tomorrow is determined by good planning done today. Hope the north holistically follow educational blue prints and economic blue prints 🔵 to drag their region out of backwardness.

This is my observation. If you as a northerner or anything have contrary opinion, reply with sense!
I'm born and breed up north and I wouldn't fault your assertion, during my service year (I cried when I saw the seat of the Caliphate on the call up letter) I had to use the Hausa language during ICT classes, like that wasn't enough, the O'Level examination was more of a classroom affair with teachers and Corp members writing out the answers on board.

Five years after most of the students are now NCE, diploma and degree holders but only an handful of them that could string a proper sentences in English.
Family › Re: Six Effective Ways You Can Cut Cost In These Hard Times by jojothaiv(m): 1:20pm On Aug 12, 2023
For me,

1. Trek a lot.
2. Avoid anything that have to do with flexing, alcohol or carbonated drinks is a no no now.
3. The three square meal/balanced diet is a myth now, 1-0-1, 0-1-0, 0-0-1 and 1-0-0. Groceries is now the mainstay, once in a while we dey bust am with protein.
4. Not in a committed relationship for now, LDR cut it for me, I don't want anybody using love as bait to extract money wey no dey from my hand.
5. Freebasics, night plans and *121# is handy, big shout to MTN for that life saving data plans.
6. Once I help my neighbor carry or play with their children, a sumptuous dinner is guaranteed.

At the end, man will be okay.

From one failure to another. Sometimes I can't but imagine how our politicians come about with some of their words, the last weevil promise to hit the ground running little did the citizens know that he's heading for the sky, maigida literally hit the sky flying.

Let me maintain my cold shoulder to this piece of news.

Sex energy is like a spirit. When it takes over your consciousness, you become gifted with unlimited energy and can walk thousands of miles just to do its bidding, but it turns you into a zombie until that build up energy gets wasted on sex.

If only you know what happens “in between”. The start to finish. Always remember the goal is not to take it to the end. If the end is the beginning, why take it to the end?

Funny enough, we will all be affected whether things go south or it stay the same. Those who think they are safe will not be exempted while the ones feeling the heat will spare no one and for those who rather sit on the fence and watch everything burn will also be found wanting.

Every human action is a chain reaction.
