In a community of mediocres, it may not be unwise to praise a thief that refuses to steal. Our values have been totally eroded that we need to start celebrating someone's inablity to steal the people's mandate. So the next time you provide food for your family demand for praise from them because you may as well allow them to die of hunger. |

This is Nasty!!! Until we start reasoning beyond religious lines, we will never know the truth. When the Muslims are killed, poeple believe (by sterotype) that it is not a big deal, but when others are killed, the shout is loud. i personally dont think this is limited to Nigeria, The US is killing the Muslims daily with drones in Pakistan and nobody has ever thought that they maybe killing ordinary citizens with no affiliations with any militant group. the western public opinoin is that, as long as you are a muslim, if you are killed its normal. Even the UN is silent about the attacks, its not an abuse if you kill muslims but its an abuse if they kill back. Personally, i have given up one the possibility of any solution to these crises, i dont think separation will also help because some of us just like going into other pple's land to create problems because we want them to think like we do. |
Is it the same documented fact that said Saddam has WMD. |
After seeing this video, I can bet anything on the fact the farook actually took that bribe. For someone that took money that he intends to use as evidence, he won't be that compose as he was in the video. The whole report especially the name of the marketers listed as fraudulent is questionable now. |
Perfectly put...... This administration is a complete failure! |
GEJ is obviously unaware of what he is doing. The clown has once again displayed his naiveness and ignorance when it comes to governance and rule of law. I just can't imagine what will happen in the next 3 yrs. Personally I think this guy in unfit to be head of a family. |
Nice write up. ...But what does he mean by self-imposed censorship on GEJ,... If you know what who he really is (which I want to belive u shld as an insider)then help and speak out. |
This is what our military is suppose to be doing, leading in R& D and developing their own equipment. I hope they continue in this direction. We should also acknowledge GEJ support too cos without it the project won't see day light. This however does not mean good governance, if it is then North Korea and Iran would rank top in good governance |
@sky blue: I think you are the one not being objective here, you just selected the part of the article that suits you. The question to you is that are there examples of bills that have nothing to do with agencies creation yet to be signed by GEJ? If yes why is he holding back? He is holding the Nation to ransom because he wants to get back at the law makers, dumb move if you ask me. |
@PapaBrowne, the analogy of MMA and Murtala Mohammed doesn't fit in at all, the airport was completed after the man has died and the airport has no history. UNILAG doesn't just have history, its a Legacy and a National one for that matter. What we are saying is don't just erase all that for another when you can actually have both. The new nine fed universities can compare with your MMA analogy, they have clean slate. |
At least over 24hrs after the clown's pronouncement, the senate still calls it UNILAG. Foolish Beaf. Is that how you erase all the achievement, reputation, recognition and effort of over 50yrs. CLOWNS |
Some pple are asking what's there in a name, the name UNILAG is an identity (some will say brand) built over years - the change though not affecting academics, eliminates all goodwill, perception and recognition attributable with it's mention. now it has to start again. a name is not just a name - it embodies goodwill. that's why companies acquiring other companies pay for the GOODWILL the name carries separately. (try release a product and call it Apple or Ipad if u are brave all countries have flagship institutions, they build and maintain its name for a purpose Why does GEJ have to erase a legacy just to build another when he can actually have both. UNILAG is a Legacy MKO Abiola is another, you don't have to kill one for the other. PS: part of this write up above is from a friend. |
UNILAG was perfect with that name, why not look at any other fed govt school. The name is part of the PRIDE Anyways I have UNIVERSITY of Lagos on my cert. NO. |
GEJ is not making a speech, he is trying to read and he is just trying in that regards. |
i am not really suprise for John fashanu, what do you expect from someone arraigned for match fixing and now comes to testify as a character witness for a "Thief" in government. |
Now Ibori has 13 years to think his life through, by the time he comes out he will be "67", still younger than OBJ now with enough time to put what he has learnt in prison to use and be an agent of change in Nigeria. ....Lets stop justifying a crime with another, Ibori is not the only criminal in Nigeria but it's minus one "thief in our government". |
The war against BH was lost or rather slipped when we started using the name Boko Haram loosely for sentimental reasons. The simple truth now is that even the security operatives can't tell the difference between BH boys, political thugs and other common criminals, until this is done then the puzzle may be more difficult to solve. |
After GEJ, Abati might just go into farming and enjoy his retirement, It will be difficult for Guardian to give him a warm welcome back to his former job. I still relish Dele Momodu's "How posterity will remember Abati" saying. |
@Beaf: Sometimes we confuse leadership with expertise in our chosen career. Anyway, what I think this means is that the world power is telling her to forget the world bank job and take on the substitute in the UN coffer. It couldn't have been more obvious. |
....While most of the story (or rather article) maybe correct, the Bible is not considered as a holy book by Muslims or Islam, the Injeel is considered as the holy book. The Injeel scripture brought by Jesus himself and its totally different from the bible especially with the recent versions and revisions we have circulating the world today. Happy Holiday to you all. |
Still searching! |
Thanks |
I Love this country, Where a wrong is justified by another wrong. |
I have always believed that the Libyans have been sold "Dummy", a very fake one indeed. The next couple of years will tell. |
I wont take that bloger serious on this topic. Cos my OIM is already in the mood to shut down my facility. lets see what happens in the next hours. |

I need a 3 bedroom bungalow in Abraham ADESANYA estate, Ajah. I will prefer a property that I will have to renovate myself. I might consider a 2 bedroom if it has space in the compound. Please contact me on 08094215167. |
^^^ you are the only one that read the report, it was based on his comment in 2007, I think 4 years is enough to change someone's view about anything. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying El-Rufai is himself clean, but I see good points in his recent criticism of the government and I think it wil be better off if we work on the point raised instead of killing the messenger. |
, hmmmn, Thoughtful speech!!! |
