The Lord Jesus relates with different category of people; the rich, poor, male, female, children, young people, adult, sinners, unbelievers, believers, religious leaders and followers, the Jew and the non-Jews. Most times they came to Him and sometimes He goes to them.

If the spirit of Christ is truly in a man, he cannot but be simple. He will be loving, caring and approachable. His life will be an extended hand of the creator meeting the needs of men.

The Lord wants us to possess a child-like heart towards Him and in our relationship with men. Despite the fact that a man cannot but live by certain principles peculiar to his life the fact still remains he created to affect lives and so he must be simple.

The Lord is looking forward for homes that will provide shelter for the homeless, food for the hungry, future for the hopeless and refuge for those in danger. Make yourself available to be used of God to affect lives. Christ is able to help us and meet our needs because He came down to our level to identify our needs by experience.

Your family and close associates are the first set of people who can really tell us the accurate measure of your personality. They are the ones who have direct feeling of your growth in every facet of life. Therefore, your lifestyle before them is a factor that determines the view they have about your God.

Your ministry is meaningless when it not meaningful to your family and those who keep a close watch on your life. It is a pity that there are several so called men of God who have big names with people in the church and even in the media but are no where to be found in terms of integrity, righteousness, love and holiness before their wives, children, husbands and close associates.

The first target of your ministry is your household. What did not work within the circumference of your household cannot work with people afar off. Charity begins at home. Whatever you will be in the public must take its root from your house hold. If you must give, care, show love and share the best of your testimony, it must start from your home. Stop struggling for pulpit put your house and immediate contact in order.

Focus: Will You Also Go Away?

The essence of the investment of God over His children is to ensure they are with Him and fulfill divine mandate. However, God is not interested in men who are not loyal to Him and those who only want to use Him to fulfill their selfish desire!!!

When people began to leave Jesus as a result of the truth He revealed to them, he did not assume that the twelve disciples who were with Him will not also go. He asked:"Do you also want to go away?" The Lord will not force Himself or His will on anyone but He is only interested in men who are willing and loyal.

There are several men on whom the Lord invested so much, in a bid to prepare them to fulfill divine mandate and purpose but later went a way to be an instrument in the hands of the devil. Like the prodigal son, many of these people went their own way and squander the grace of God in their lives. The snare of worldliness and desire for riches didn't allow most of these people to do the will of God and fulfill their mandate.

Despite the fact that the Lord has done so much for you; His desire is for you to be loyal to Him and fulfill divine purpose. Don't use the investment of God over your life to fulfill selfish desire. Whatever the case may be with you, be mindful of the fact that only those who are loyal to Him will have a space in what He is doing and His eternal presence.

Every man created by God is created for relationship. In every relationship you must not be ignorant of the fact that man will always be man. Life has proven that our friends know us in prosperity while we know our friends in adversity. Don't be eaten up by the number of people associating with you, you must be sure of their loyalty.

There are men who will not speak the truth to their friends, church members and colleagues because they want to keep them and be in their good book. People who are not loyal will not be available to help at the most important time they will be needed. It is very dangerous to depend on people that are not loyal.

A man at any level of life will be deceiving himself if those relating with him are not loyal to him. The Lord is not ignorant of this; that He asked His disciples if they will also go after several people left Him when He revealed the will of God which is very hard for the flesh to take. Do not hesitate to release men who are not loyal to the course and purpose of God as well as what you are doing!

Total dependence on God is not by choice but a must for all God's children. If you must experience the Kingdom of God in the affairs of your life you must stop thinking and acting like a pagan!!!

A pagan is not necessarily a man who does not know God but a man who thinks he doesn't need God for everything. They are ambitious people who will do just anything if it would help them to achieve their aims even if it means compromising their faith. They are mostly eaten up by care and worries of this life.

The Lord Jesus is making it known to us that God is not ignorant of all our needs and desires as humans. He is aware of the fact that you need to eat, put on good clothes and achieve wonderful things in life.

You must depend on God for everything if you want to see God in action in your life. The almighty God will never share His Glory with any man. An attempt to use God to only fulfill your selfish ambition is an attempt to keep Him out of the affairs of your life.

The Lord is not saying that you should just sit down and expect things to happen automatically in various aspect of life. In seeking for your needs you must not do it like a pagan. You must seek the involvement of God by living according to His righteousness in every affairs of your life. Live your entire life having this orientation that there is more to life than what you will eat, wear and achieve in life. Everything is all about God.

Irrespective of who you are, you must be mindful of the fact that in a little while people will see you no more. The good and the bad deeds of men will come to an end. Our Lord Jesus made it clear to His disciples that irrespective of who he is to them and what they see him do, in no distance time they will see Him no more.

The fact that life is very uncertain should always prompt us to do all we could when we have the opportunity to do it. The things happening around us keep sending us a signal that God promised no one the certainty of tomorrow.

As you go about your normal activities, do things as if that may be your last opportunity. You must always trust God to help to give your best and do what is right at all times. Live your entire life being mindful of the admonition of the Lord: All of us must quickly carry out the tasks assigned to us by the one who sent me, because there is little time left before the night falls and all work comes to an end (John 9:4 NLT)

Focus: Sin Does Not Die

Sin does not die; every sin once committed in life, no matter how long, can still rise up in the future to sting the person that committed it. You can only weaken the power of sin when you confess and forsake them!!!

There is no other way to hinder your prosperity than to keep covering your past sin and living in it continuously. A man can only have freedom from the grip of sin when he chooses to expose it. Every guilt and act of blackmail thrives on covered sin.

Sin of the past will always threaten our present and also aim to destroy our future. When Achan stole what was dedicated to God, he did all he could to hide it. He thought he had succeeded but the issue eventually came up and cut short his life. The same will happen to every man who covers his sin.

Don't be eaten up by the fact that nothing happened when you sinned; the consequence of every sin goes ahead to wait for you in the future. Do not be ignorant of the fact that God visits the sin of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation (Deut 5:9). Whenever you sin try all you could to confess and forsake it. In that way you will find mercy through the blood of Jesus.

A man was appreciating God for His goodness in their lives by saying that he serves a God that does what he says. This is absolutely true. I paused to think about it and remembered that the same God made it clear to us that in this world we will see trouble but victory is assured.

The only issue with men is that we always forget the goodness of the Lord when things appear to be getting worse contrary to our expectations. As the Lord is doing great things in our lives we should be mindful that life is in two phases. There are people in terrible situation of life presently not because they are sinners but because such is life. Hence, in all situation, God is God and after Him there is no other.

Self-denial in detaching you from materialism is required if you must please God in every facet of life. You cannot serve the Lord effectively if greater part of your life is attached to materialism (vanities of life)!!!

I heard of a man who finds it very difficult to sleep due to the fact that some of his trucks are yet to arrive even when several others were already parked. He was unable to sleep because certain percentage of his life is not with him. Jesus said; you cannot keep your heart away from where your treasure is.

Several men want to follow the Lord and do His will but what they attach their lives to, will not allow them. The Lord does not want us to place our hearts on ephemeral things of this life. Therefore, He frowns at accumulating material possessions because the more things you gather the more attached your life will be to them and the less your consecration will be to God.

Hence, Jesus told the young rich man to detach himself from his riches by giving it out to the poor. The Lord is also speaking to you; that you must not be too attached to this life as your fleeting years go by. Only what you are able to save as treasure in heaven is what is truly your own. It will be increasingly difficult to please God as you should until you give yourself away to God and detach yourself from laying vanities.

The turning point in the life of Apostle Paul came when He sought to know what to do when he had an encounter with the Lord. Irrespective of your experience at every point in time, the fact still remains that there is something God wants you to do. Live your life, always having interest in what the Lord will say about a particular situation.

The intention of God will always come to you in His word. Each time the word of the Lord comes to you, it comes to instruct you on what to do. The more you submit yourself to act according to His word the more your life will align to His plans and purpose. At every junction of life, if you must please Him, you must not but always ask the Lord what He wants you to do. The best of what the Lord will make out of your life will manifest when you cherish and accept the word of God for your life.

The track of your deeds is in record even if it appears as if no one is saying something about it. Both God and men place a close watch on your life. The man who stole what belonged to others and executed substandard project will be remembered for it. People will never forget how he mismanaged the resources at his disposal and how the institution he led became poor because of his selfish appetite.

Always remember that a day is coming when you will give an account. After your existence in any domain of life, your name will either be a blessing or a curse. Now that you have the opportunity to make a good mark in the sand of time, do good. Don't waste any opportunity you have to bless life and please God.

A vain person can be regarded as "hypocrite". It is used to describe someone who is concerned about projecting a certain character to his audience and pretending to be something he is not.

The vain person also is more likely to fall into divisive actions in his attempt to show he is not inferior to others in his intellect, will, speech, and deeds. They posses the intellectual vice of obstinacy: "by which a man is too much attached to his own opinion," such that he is unwilling to accept another opinion that might be better.

Their lifestyle encourge discord , which is an unwillingness to give up one's own will and concur with others. They engage in contention, whereby a man likes to be argumentative. They are disobedient to every godly principles just to ensure that they receive praises from men.

The only thing required of Naaman to be made whole from the leprosy he suffered over the years was to just dip seven times in the river Jordan. He couldn't get the instruction until he came to the God of Israel. His flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child when he submitted himself to obey the words of the Lord from His prophet.

There is just something you must do to experience a turn around from every challenging situation of your life. The solution you earnestly desire over various issues in your life will only take place if you come to the Lord and you obey his words for you. Hence, when his message comes to you, humble yourself and obey His word.

When the heart of a man is open to receive instructions from God in a bid to walk in absolute obedience, it is at that point the man is set for breakthrough. God is not a magician; His words will only work for you when you walk and work according to His words. It is of the Lord to reveal His will to you, it is your responsibility to walk into His perfect plan and purpose for your life by walking and working in obedience to His words.

The problem of the entire human race began when Adam disobeyed God. The verdict of God over him affected all men who were born after him. There is no man who disobeyed God be it deliberately or not that did not invite curse on him or herself.

Majority of the problems in the world today was because of the fact that men chose not to obey God. There is no how the promises of God will come to pass in the life of a man who fails to tremble at His word in a bid to work and walk according to its principles.

The likes of King Saul, Achan, Gehazi would have saved themselves from the troubles they brought upon themselves and their generation if they obeyed the words of God. You will save yourself from several problems of life if you will always submit yourself to obey God.

The power of your inner strength is a function of how you use your mouth. Wisdom only flows easily in the presence of inner strength.

If you want people to do well in every facet of life you must watch what goes out of your mouth to them. Minister grace and not condemnation; let life flows through you to people (Eph 4:29).

If you don't like what you are seeing in your life change what you say about yourself in any circumstance of life. Also, if you don't like what you are seeing in the lives of men change what you are saying about them. Speak strength into their lives to motivate them to do well.

Each time the Lord anoints a man, He anoints him to do what is good. The essence of the provision of salvation freely made available to all mankind is to bring about the establishment of God's will in every domain of life. It was recorded in the scripture that everywhere the Lord Jesus went, He was doing good.

In this age, Jesus is still moving around doing good through the lives of men. He is also working in your life if you are also doing good. The word of the Lord makes it clear that God is highly interested in seeing that we shine as light through the dark world; that it is in this that God will receive glory over our lives.

As you proceed in destiny, be mindful of the fact that wherever you find yourself, you are called to do that which is good (the will of God). Doing this will only be possible when you allow God to work in you to do His good pleasure. Preserve what God wants to make out of your life by doing what is good.

Life is characterized by different times and season. Both the good and bad season comes with its own peculiarities and test. Irrespective of the season you find yourself at every point in time, you must be mindful of the fact that God is the God of all seasons; who deserves to be praised and worshipped. You must be mindful of the following:

1. You came naked: You have nothing, if there is something you claim to have it was given to you. You must not be an ingrate be it in little or much, in gain and in loss; learn to appreciate God.

2. You will return naked. Everything you have is just an attachment that you will either leave or they will leave you. Learn how to empty yourself of whatever achievement you have to worship God. Store up your treasure in heaven; it is only what you are able to store in heaven that is truly your own.

3. You don't have what you don't have because God has not given you. When He gives no one can take. Seek God for what you need.

4. No man can have what the Lord has taken away from him.

Irrespective of what you feel at any point in time by the virtue of your experience; don't forget to worship God who rules in the affairs of men.

Someone can have money but God will bring a famine that money cannot solve. Sometimes God withdraws the amount of care He gives to believers that are no longer infants to make them realise that they now need to stand on their feet in the midst of adversity.

It is a pity that some people grow in the hands of God as if they will be useful to Him but fail under pressure of intense famine meant to validate their stand in Him. Your reaction in the time of famine speaks much about your strength and place in God.

The fact that you are reading this, signifies that God has sent several men to help you in this life.

There is no doubt in the fact that you have faced both the positive and negative side of life, and you have had both bad and good experiences with men. The bad experience you have is meant to teach you what it feels to have bad experience, help people who are having it and to ensure that your actions don't make people to have it.

When God brings people to help you, pay your bills (rent, school fees, hospital bills, debt), connect you to get a job and greatness, help you in business and career, build you up academically and spiritually; it is also to make you know how it feels to enjoy such grace. God does most of these to prepare us to do likewise. As you enjoy His grace in different dimensions of life, you must always remember the words of the Lord which says: go and do likewise. Be mindful of the fact that the best part of your existence is that part you lived blessing other people.

The sole responsibility of every parent or guardian is to ensure that a child sees the future through their lifestyle. It is an established fact that a child will only become whatever he or she sees or hears. A new born baby does not have language, food, culture, religion or wisdom; his parent, teacher, guardian and those in his environment determine all these.

Therefore, God is counting on you to train up every child that comes in contact with you the right values of life and the will of God. Place around every child what you want him or her to be in the future. A father or mother who is unfaithful, tell lies, fight their neighbours, steal what belongs to others, keep malice, encourage disunity and selfishness, engage in domestic violence, encourage malpractices and sponsors discord among brethren cannot expect a child who sees him/her to do better and live rightly.

Don't ever say a particular child is not yours; that it is the responsibility of their biological parent to train up their wards. When a child turns out to be good such will bring blessing to all and when a child turns out to be bad such will affect all. A way to prepare for the future is to take the responsibility of training a child at all levels!!!

In the midst of progress, Joy, happiness and various life's achievements don't forget the fact that earth is not your home. You must always apply your heart to wisdom as you live on.

Thank God for your journey so far on earth. The Question coming to you at this very point in time is: How long do you think your journey be? And when exactly will you return? Despite the fact that you have no answer to the above questions the fact still remains that you have a set time known to God.

Life is characterized by both positives and negatives; advantages and disadvantages. Any man who goes on in life thinking about only positives or only negatives is bound to fail. With your experiences so far in life I think you don't need anyone to tell you that life is all about both positive and negative.

All those who became what God wanted them to be in life did not achieve it on the platter of gold. They all had a share of their own ordeal in the journey. The negative situations of their lives shaped them into what God wanted to achieve with their lives. David was able to say at a point in his life that "God trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze". Joseph told his brothers that they were instruments of God to bring his dreams to pass (Gen 45:5).

Hence, do not fret yourself at the emergence of negative situation of life. Don't let the negatives of life consume you. They are part of the process that will make you who God wants you to be. If you must be conscious of the bad situation in your life let it become a driving force and motivation to achieve great things!

2. God will take you to the best level of your life. When you remain where He wants you to be, it will become a green pasture for you.
3. God will bring you into the reality of His packages for your life and you will have rest.
4. God will lead you through the path of righteousness to make your path shine brighter.
5. God will keep you safe from all evils and make you to come out victoriously from every challenge of life.
6. God will anoint you to bless lives on every platform he prepared for you to fulfill your mandate.

Failure in destiny begins each time a man lose focus and become enticed by what others are doing; leaving what they are called to do.

Despite the fact that knowledge about many things is required to become very vast and effective in your ministration in what you are called to do, the fact still remains that you must not be carried away from doing what you are required to do. God will only reward and help you for doing the assignment for which you were created and kept alive till date.

As you proceed in destiny you must keep identifying the boundaries of your calling, mandate and purpose in life even as you pray to God for help. Don't engage in frantic race to be like others around but rather channel your love, strength, knowledge, resources and every God's given grace to fulfill your calling.

There is no doubt in the fact that life is characterized by both positives and negatives. Don't be too quick to condemn things when they appear not good enough. If there is a need for criticism it should be constructive with adequate recommendation for improvement.

Encourage what is good even when they appear not good enough or not up to your standards. Don't be an agent of destruction to what men are doing or their intentions. Appreciate every effort men in place to achieve something even if it turns out not to be promising!!!

Test of life is necessary because God will never use a man He has not proved and He will never place anything serious into the hands of a man who cannot stand the test of time. The likes of Joseph, Abraham, Daniel and David were tried before they became something for God.

The devil will always try all he can do to ensure that you fall and your destiny fails under God. Hence, you must submit yourself to God and His principles. If a man is resolute in his decision to obey God, he cannot fail no matter how great the temptations before him. A man only falls each time he is caught in the trap of selfish desire. Always ask God to help, comfort and strengthen you in every situation of life.

The mother of Moses did an excellent job to nurture him for three months in a bid to preserve his life and mandate at a time when death sentence has been pronounced. At a point she could no longer keep him but to place him in the basket by River Nile and watch from afar what will become of Him. The best she could do is to pray and hoped for the best on his behalf.

After a man is born, he will be nurtured, afterwards he will be presented to the world to fulfill his mandate on earth. At the point of his presentation, his destiny now lies in his hands through his decision and choices in life. As for Daniel among his peers; he excelled due to the fact that he has a purpose of heart to do God's will at all cost. As a young man every investment of God and that of people in your life is to prepare you against the day of your presentation to the world. Most of the support you used to enjoyed will not always be there.

Every parent, teacher, pastor, discipler and all men whom God gave the opportunity to build lives must be mindful of the fact that there is a limit to the time in which you will have ultimate influence on those God placed into your hands. Jesus at a point dedicated time to pray to God for his disciples "Sanctify them by Your truth" (John 17:17). Make best use of the opportunity you have to build the lives of men placed at your disposal.

Therefore, we are expected to love justice. We are only wise each time we submit ourselves to do what is right and only just what is right. Each time the Lord chooses to behold His own people, He will love to see them doing that which is right. He was well pleased with Jesus when he beheld Him doing His will.

Also, we are expected to love mercy. We must always remember God also so He had mercy on us; forgiving our sins and giving us a new life. We must also replicate His mercy by forgiving those who offend us, accepting and bringing to restoration those who stray away from faith or those who fall in sin and helping the needy. You must be mindful of the fact that loving mercy is a prerequisite for obtaining God's mercy.

Lastly, you must walk humbly with your God. You must keep knowing that without God there is nothing you are. He is the only consolation a dust like you have in this terrain.

In the beginning when God created the earth, it took Him seven days to bring it to perfection. It is not the case that He cannot command and bring everything to reality in just a day but He did not, just to let us know that everything in life requires process.

When the Lord made it clear that He had rejected King Saul and prompted Samuel to anoint David; one would think that He would ascend the throne immediately but it took several years for that to come to pass. God can make King Saul to die but He didn't. When the time became ripe and David had successfully undergone the process required for him to ascend the throne under God he became King.

When the promises of God comes to you, it sets you on a mountain called revelation. It will require time and walking in the premises of God's promises to get to the mountain of the fulfillment of His promises. The word "automatic" is not applicable to any issue that has to do with purpose and mandate. You don't need to struggle or engage in frantic race to become anything in life but submit yourself to the process required.

When the Lord is set to use men for His glory, He ensures that their appetite is pruned. He took the Israelites through the wilderness for 40 years just to prune their appetite by making them to know by experience that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD ( Deut 8.3).

Daniel did not become 10 times better without dealing with his appetite. It is not as if the King's delicacy was not attractive to him but he chose not to yield to the will of his appetite to please God. Every able young man like Joseph will easily yield to the advances of Portiphar's wife but he didn't just to be on the Lord's side.

Right from creation the greatest battle of man is the battle of his appetite. The sin of Adam is that of his appetite.The battle you will not but confront in every quest to please God and fulfill your mandate in life is that of appetite. You must be mindful of the fact that some of your prayers that were not answered might be a way of God to help your appetite. You have to seek the help of God to deal with your appetite before it destroys you.
