The way of the Lord is the way of wisdom. Only God is wise, powerful and great. Wisdom in life begins with knowing that only God is wise in all situations!!!

Wisdom only belongs to God our creator and the planner of our destiny. Men who lived the best type of life on earth were men who accept the life God wants to give them by walking and working in his way. Wisdom begins with acknowledging God and obeying His word.

His wisdom is revealed through His word to us. His word to us concerning marriage is that He hates divorce, the husband should love his wife even as the wife submit to her husband. In a relationship with others, he charged us to love our neighbour as ourselves. When He admonishes us to run from sin; His ultimate interest is to preserve us from death.

The life of a man is better when he yields himself to submit to God's principle presented to him. Don't question Him about the nature of your experience; your lot in the land of the living is a typical instance of His Wisdom!!!

Do you subscribe to God's wisdom by yielding to His words?

Focus: Many Heroes but One Model

God in His infinite mercy has presented to us in this life several heroes who were exceptional in their own time from generation to generation but has given a model and that model is our Lord Jesus Christ!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The history of man in the universe under God is not complete without making reference to some men who made a mark in the sand of time. The book of Hebrews 11 gave the chronicles of the likes of Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Samson, Gideon, David and others.

Despite the fact that these great men of faith were exceptional; God didn't present them to us as models even though we can learn some things in their lives. The birth of Ishmael and the death of Uriah was a significant shortcoming in the life of Abraham and David a man with a heart after God respectively. Hence, we cannot be like them. At a point in the lives of these men; they needed to lay aside every weight, and the sin which ensnared them.

Jesus Christ is the model presented to us by God Himself; to Him alone He is well pleased.

Who is your model?

Lord! I receive the grace to resemble Christ Jesus in His attributes in Jesus name. Amen!!!

There are several heroes in life but Christ Jesus is our model!!!

Focus: Judgement by Appearance

There is more to a man's life than what you see in him. You must always seek to know what God is saying about a man before you commit yourself to him!!!

There is no man who goes out without packaging and making a good presentation of himself. Hence, what we see in people is mostly what they want people to see about them. We must be mindful of the fact that all men no matter how anointed and spiritual they appears to be can be deceived with the appearance of men.

Men who seek to divorce their wives, people who robbed others, men who killed and do evil to others, don't usually wear with such an appearance at the beginning. It is only God who knows the heart of men. You must seek God adequately whenever there is a need to have dealings with men on critical issues of life.

Do you seek God's involvement in your dealings with men?

Lord! You that knows the heart of men lead me aright in Jesus name. Amen!!!

The best a man can see about people is their appearance; only God sees heart!!!

Witchcraft is a craft used to manipulate men from doing what they will naturally not do!!!

The principle behind every witchcraft is manipulation. Every man who manipulates other men to do something is practising witchcraft. Whatever means (occultic power, lies, false assurance, vain promises, fake prophecy etc) a man used to manipulate others is the craft serving as an instrument of manipulation.

It is not only men who are an agent of darkness that practice witchcraft but also many so-called believers and men of God. People who organise spiritual programs in the disguise of solving problems or winning souls but to make money, men who initiate others into an occultic world in the name of deliverance, using diabolic means to heal people in the name of God, fake promises or prophecy to collect money from people, manipulating a man into marriage or any kind of selection process is an act of witchcraft.

In this end time, they will be many; Jesus said: "See that no one leads you astray".

In what way are you practising witchcraft?

Lord! I will not be led astray in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Every man who manipulate men contrary to their wish and against God's will practices witchcraft!!!

The state of the fallen man is not a type that can be perfect as required by God. A man being ruled with by the sinful nature can never be perfect. A way to perfection is simply living your life with the word of God as a mirror guiding your life. It is actually submitting to God's will come what may.

There is no doubt about the fact that you have your own way of life and live by your own principles; the fact still remains the arm of the flesh cannot please God. We will not be able to meet up with God's expectation for our lives as far as fulfilling His purpose is concerned if we fail to submit our lives and allow Him to live His life in us.

Do you allow God to live His life in you?

Lord! I receive the grace to always submit my will and allow you to live Your life in me in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Several men in heart think if they can get some things for themselves and attain a high position in a job or career then their lives will be perfect; that is actually far from reality. The judgement of a man is too weak to define a perfect world. What you think is good or not good can turn out to be contrary with time.

There is no perfect school, church, relationship, friend, marriage, home, husband/wife, business, career, city, country. Wherever you find mortals there you find imperfection. Your world will become perfect if you begin to see it, the way God is seeing it and you submit yourself to do God's will and align your life according to His purpose.

Do you see yourself the way God is seeing you?

Lord! I receive the grace to always desire the life you want to give me; help me to align my life according to your will in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Waiting is actually a way of life and a way to buildup the required strength for every blessing of life. Don't settle for less than what God reserved for your life; find grace under God to be patient enough to allow the promises of God for your life to come to maturity.

The Israelites in a buildup to enter into the promised land were given some instructions. They were to remember that they were slaves in Egypt and that the mighty hands of God brought them through the red sea, journey in the wilderness for forty years without planting a single crop and yet with the daily provision of food.

This year has been a special one and a lot of things has happened. Despite all that has happened the Lord kept you not because you are good or careful enough but God had mercy on you. You must not be ignorant of the fact that several men have died, many jobs have been lost, several business collapsed among others.

As you proceed in destiny be mindful of the fact that it was the mighty hands of God that is getting you going in life. No matter how wonderfully placed you are and the level of God's grace in your life you must never forget who you used to be and that it was the grace of God that made you what you are.

In the garden of Eden when Adam sinned, he could not parade himself but hide. Every man in his right-thinking mind knows that sin is not something you delight in but a reproach. The fact that several people now present act of sin as a norm does not change the fact that it is a reproach which overshadows the glory of God in the life of a man.

The case of the wife of Uriah was a sting in the life of King David. The birth of Ishmael was a significant mistake on the part of Abraham. God forgave these men their shortcomings but it will continue to be in their record from generation to generation.

There is no man who desires a cheating and unfaithful husband or wife. No man will put a corrupt individual at the helm of his affairs. Where there is sin there is a reproach. Flee from sin and submit yourself to do the will of God just like Joseph and Daniel. Honour God with your life and decision; that's the pathway to glory.

If there is something you must seek in every pursuit of life, it must be the Kingdom of God and it's righteousness. There is nothing you get through unrighteous means that will rob you of your peace, joy, fulfilment and the satisfaction you truly desire.

A man can strive to ensure that he is elevated in various aspect of life but true elevation comes from God. No matter what you do, if God did not elevate you, you can never have the real feeling of exaltation. Many people appear to be great but in their heart greatness is far from them; their appearance appear great but they are still struggling in the heart because they know it is fake.

How does a man who stole what belongs to another to build his own empire feels? What can we say of a man who passes an examination through malpractice or attained a position through character assassination? Even if they appear to feel good; deep down in their heart, they know it is fake. Allow God to elevate you. You will only live a life devoid of reproach and find fulfilment in death and eternity when you live righteously and enjoys Gods elevation!!!

The challenges in your life are not different from the one common to all men, it only has different dimension and fields. Every marriage that works, worked not because they didn't face challenges but because the people involved passionately and diligently made it work with the wisdom of God.

This is also applicable to people in ministry, business, academics and career. Nothing actually works naturally, things are made to work by confronting the challenges against it. Life will not but always present various issues to prompt you to give up; always find strength in God to stand in all challenging situations of life.

Money is a good servant but a bad master. It can help you to achieve great things and can as well make you become a monster. It a god which contend with the place of the almighty God in the lives of men. Money has taken many to a place they never wanted to be and has influenced men to do what they never wanted to do. It is capable of buying the conscience of a man.

The best position you should place money is the place of a servant and not a master. Never give too much power to money because despite the fact that it is an indispensable element of the human life on earth the fact still remains that, it can cost you your peace, integrity, purpose, mandate, message, relationships, fulfilment, hope for eternity with God etc. There are several good people in this life who would have made an impact in the lives of men but eventually became a laughing stock because of money.
Don't allow money to rule your heart.

In everything you do, be mindful of the fact that history does not forgive. Whatever a man does at every point in time goes into the memory lane. A single evil deed of a man is capable of denting the good record. I have come to know by experience that people easily identify and take note of the shortcomings when observing something.

In the evaluation of the life of David, a man after God's heart the issues of Uriah the Hittite whom he killed will not but always come up. Sin breeds bad history; which does not forgive. Sin is a reproach which mars the destiny of a man. Be careful not to destroy the work of God through you and the good legacy you've instituted over the years by yielding yourself to the sinful nature. A man does to himself a great evil each time he yields himself to the works of the flesh.

The truth will always be the truth. It cannot die, no matter how much men try to kill. It can be covered but only within a time limit.

The truth about a thing is not complete until Christ Jesus is revealed. "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6). A man is free to believe anything and live by whatever he thinks. However, the truth(Jesus) is just so patient, gentle and lowly in heart to the point that He always wait for the third day for its revelation.

The truth was beaten, molested and killed but on the third day, He resurrected. There is always the third day in every situation of life. We must live our lives having the third day of every affair of our lives in mind. For those who denied the fact that Jesus is Lord and the only begotten son of God will understand on the third day.

There are men who took advantage of some innocent souls who were at their mercy. The third day will come when their victims will realise their wickedness and their evil deeds will come to remembrance.

Some teachers, pastors, managers and leaders engage in various malpractice in their service to those under them. When the people whom they render such service come to the realization of the truth they will be remembered for their unrighteous deeds. Don't neglect the truth; accept and live by it. When it seems it doesn't pay don't forget the fact that the third day will come.

The implication of submitting your life to Christ Jesus is that your life is no longer your own; you can no longer live the way you used to live and that your life is now available for Christ to live His life in your life. Hence, as long as Christ lives in you it will be practically impossible for you to live the way you used to live.

When Zacchaeus encountered Jesus, he repented from his evil ways and restituted his ways before God. There is a call for every one of us to examine our ways to see if truly we are living in newness of life. You cannot claim to be in Christ and still be lying, stealing, fighting, keeping malice, committing adultery, exhibiting unforgiveness and engaging in the act of unrighteousness. All men who are truly in Christ resemble Him in His attributes.

There is no man who chooses to be shallow in his relationship with God that will ever enter the rest prepared for him!!!

The evil one in every facet of life will never stop you from engaging in any activities but will ensure that you are not deeply rooted in your relationship with God. There are several Pharaoh in the likes of job, career, personal ambition, addictions, desire for riches and accomplishment in various aspects of life that will not but always suggest that you should not go far in your pursuit to know God and have a cordial relationship with Him.

Pharaoh made this suggestion to the Israelites in a bid to keep them in captivity. Whatever limit your relationship with God keeps you in captivity of sin and the works of the flesh. The more you give yourself to God and deeply rooted in His word the more you will be free from sin which tends to keep you a slave. This is not about been a fanatics but knowing God and living His life to fulfil His purpose on earth.

In the manner God wants you to be with Him, so also the devil wants you to be an instrument in his hands. Don't fall for the deception of the evil one admonishing you not to go far. If you must have the life God wants to give you and get to your promised land; you must not only go far with Him but also work and walk with Him all the days of your life!

Every man is an offender before God. The fact that God forgave our sins put every one of us under compulsion to forgive those who offend us. Therefore, we have no justifiable reason before God not to forgive others for their shortcomings towards us. Unforgiveness is a chain that chains a man to his unpleasant past, bitterness, and failure.

If your heart is so hard that it cannot be broken to the point of letting go of people's offence, you need serious deliverance because it will lead you to destruction. There is an everlasting resistance before any man who displays or harbour unforgiveness and that resistance is God Himself. Humble yourself under God to forgive men for their sins and be mindful that there is a measure of God in the lives of men created by Him.

Imagine a man who is sad and embittered in 2020 because of what someone did to him in 1994. It is time to move away from what men have done to you in the past. Break the chain of unforgiveness and move into the precious plan of God for your life.

The peculiarity of the earth in which we are in is that it is characterized by both good and evil. Do not consider it strange when you have evil experiences; know that it is an exclusive nature of this world.

Also, Life is characterized by a change in times and seasons. It is not in the plans of God for your life to have an identical experience throughout your days.

Therefore, it is not wrong for you to desire a change of life as your fleeting years go by. As the psalmist prayed, you also can beg God in this respect. This prayer Job also prayed. Having known that his redeemer lives; waited for his change to come.

If God did for the likes of David and Joseph; He can do it for you. Your life as a child of God will not be an exception. You will have joy for all your sorrow and great blessing for everything you lacked.

The fact that we are created by God gives Him the liberty to do with our lives whatever it pleases Him.

What God needs from you at every point in time is your cooperation. He needs you to obey and tremble at His word. Uzziah felt it was right to prevent the ark of God from falling but what he felt was contrary to God's principles; this led to his death. God declared "Jacob I love, Esau I hate" right from when they were still in the womb. Even in this, we can't question Him. There is a way with God which is the way of wisdom and mystery.

No matter what you feel in every situation of life, what matters most is what God feels. You must always acknowledge Him in all your ways and rely not on your own understanding. You are not a child of God because of your name, church, dressing, language, or activities but because you choose the way of the Lord and you walk in it.

God does not give a man grace to lie, steal, embezzle, commit adultery, or engage in immoralities, as well as exhibiting the works of the flesh in various dimensions of life. Each time grace is made available it teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and help us to live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. Grace strengthens a man to live above the sinful nature.

Whatever the Lord does remains a message from generation to generation. We have seen men whom the Lord revealed some wonderful things to which is more or less a tip of the iceberg of what He wants them to see but couldn't wait or be patient enough to have a complete dealing or encounter.

Despite the fact that they saw something the fact still remains that they had not seen completely. Just like the man in our text he saw men like trees.

Many of what we call achievements are not actually the best He planned for us. Therefore, we must ensure that we have a full encounter with the Lord and allow Him to work on us completely just like the man in our text patiently waited on God to perfect his sight.

You must be mindful of the fact that most of what the Lord planned for your life has not entered your heart nor the heart of men. Your experience so far in life is evidence of the fact that you need God much more than ever.

There is a limit to which any friend can go with you. The only true friend you have is the One who actually promised not to leave nor forsake you. There is no friend like Jesus to you.

The friends of this world due to various limitations we all have as humans tend to turn back when the going gets rough. This happened to the disciples of Jesus when He was about to be crucified. They all ran away and denied ever knowing Him. The Lord uses these happenings to show us the real nature of man and to justify why He did not commit Himself to man (John 2:24).

Don't invest your entire life on what will not help you to make eternity with God. Don't allow anything to come between you and your Saviour. Be wise! The best of the friends of a man will only pay him the last respect at his death and turn away.

However, be ever mindful of a friend who remains a friend when other friendship ceases and fail. A friend when life's short race is over. Who will meet you on heaven shore and when home at last; Jesus Christ our Lord!

You are not in friendship with Him until you represent Him accurately in His attributes among men. You are created to be the Jesus that is needed to meet the needs of men in your immediate contact.

Every law of God is meant to give us the vision to keep within a boundary of His will with a view to securing our destiny. A man without a vision is identified if he is been affected by every environmental stimulus thereby being tossed to and fro, and carried about by every wind of doctrine.

Marriage, career, your belief, ministry, etc. creates an opportunity for us to recognize our boundaries. Joseph was in charge of Potiphar's house but he identified his boundaries. He didn't lose sight of his vision and God's plan for his life. Only a man who lacks vision engages in extramarital affairs, embezzles the fund kept at his disposal and destroys a good legacy laid down by men who have gone ahead of him.

The problem of the entire human race began when man failed to keep within the boundary of God's word. Going out of your boundary is a sure way to destruction. You cannot be everywhere and you can't be everything. We are created to fulfill a specific purpose. Therefore, you are expected to keep within a narrow domain so as to maximize your ability to achieve greater results.

A sinner is a person who sins. When a sinner is at the helm of affairs in any domain of placement his altar becomes the altar of sin. When Lord is set to help a man to fulfill his mandate, He gives him a platform. The devil may not hinder him from his activities but will ensure that the platform becomes that of sin.

There are people who after surrendering their lives to God; never stole what belonged to other people nor engage in immorality, but became a thief just because they were assigned to be in charge of money or became adulterous because they had close assess to the opposite sex by the virtue of their office.

Don't sacrifice your peace, future, reputation, anointing and God's plan for your life on the altar of sin. This was what destroyed the likes of Gehazi, Achan and Samson. When God in His mercy places you in various platform to facilitate the fulfillment of your mandate; ensure that you are a faithful steward and please God.

Irrespective of the experience of a man, the fact still remains that God is fair. The one who created us knows our capacity and He gave to every one of us according to what we can bear.

The real picture of how God allocate resources to men on earth is shown to us in today's bible verse. His fairness and graciousness is seen in the fact that He gave everyone atleast something but according to individual capacity and what He gives has the ability to expand and increase.

The Lord is not ignorant of the resources He placed in your disposal; He will only require from you based on the measure of grace made available for you. Therefore, make use of every grace made available for you. It is on this basis that your capacity can increase.

The men who gained five and two were commended equally despite the fact that they were given different amount of resources. Don't be like the man who failed to use the talent given to him. Don't neglect the days of little beginning. Increase your capacity making adequate use of what God has given unto you.

It is only when the Holy Spirit finds expression that you can preach the gospel. Help the broken hearted, proclaim the liberty of the captive, set the oppressed free and prepare men for the day of the Lord.

We will identify the spirit that is in a man by the way he lives and what he chooses to do at every point in time. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, It anoints you to do the will of God and be a blessing to your world. However, no matter how you live, it is a fulfillment of the word of God!!!

Destiny is divine. When we waste our time competing with co-workers, neighbours, friends, family, trying to surpass them or perhaps prove that we are more successful or more important we end up missing out on the track to our destinies.
One thing in life is that, there will always be someone ahead of you, someone better than you in various aspect of life.

Life is an organic process that goes from one phase to another. When you explore your uniqueness, you will discover the wings that have been long trapped in you. Face what God wants you to achieve in destiny. Be encouraged to do well like those who set the pace of good deeds. When the Israelites requested for a King; God quickly made an arrangement of how Saul will come in contact with Samuel in a bid to anoint him as King. In the arrangement, Saul in his heart set out to look for the lost Ass of his Father but God was bringing Him to Samuel.

The same scenario happened to Joseph. In his heart, he was going to check on his brothers but in God's heart he was going to Egypt to fulfill his dreams. Everything that is happening to you is for a purpose and for your good. Do not reject the plans of God for your life because your fulfillment in destiny depends on it. In every decision you make in life; you must seek to know the plans of God for you and align your life accordingly. The life of a man is better when his plans align with God's plan for his life.

Have you at any point in time tried to build something and it did not work out as planned? The issue is that God didn't support you in building it. Human effort alone is not enough to give a man the required success, prosperity and fulfillment he desires in every facet of life.

Whether you believe it or not; spiritual forces have influence on the physical experience or manifestation of a man. Physical blessings manifest when the spiritual blessing is achieved. God is the ultimate spiritual force in every domain of life.

You are not building until God builds on your behalf (Psalm 127:1). You are unable to marry that woman/man, achieve success in that job/career/ministry, cling that contract/admission, have the happiness and fulfillment you so much desire in marriage because God didn't build it for you.

Some people out of desperation use every possible means to achieve something for themselves but ended up becoming miserable because God did not build on their behalf. Acknowledge God in all your way, and He shall direct your path and pattern it to the way of success!!!

The life you have is God's ultimate gift for you and you must not waste it. What really matters about your life is how you are using it now. In life, several people didn't achieve what God wanted them to achieve because of the limitations posed to their lives through their past experiences. Many others are not pleasing God because of what they want to achieve. No man can predict what will become of him, in the next moment because only God can guarantee the future.
