WORD FOR TODAY
There is no perfect condition in life what we have is perfect timing for every purpose. Whenever the time is ripe under God for you to do something, do not hesitate to do it!!!

In everything you do in life do not subject it to a perfect condition but God's timing. When the Lord is telling you to do something that is when grace will be released for you to do it. When the Israelites met themselves at a dead end; the red sea was before them and the host of Egypt was behind. But the Lord prompted them to move forward in such a terrible condition. The miracle they experienced did not happen until they took step in obedience to God's word for them.

The pathway to significance for the likes of Joseph, David, Daniel, Gideon and Ruth was very rough. The condition of their lives at a point in time did not favour what their lives turned out to be. These people did not allow their conditions to hold them back from fulfilling the precious plan of God for their lives. Despite their problems, challenges, difficulty they had faith to walk and work in absolute obedience to God's word for their lives and grace was released upon them.

Don't consider the condition of your life but rise in faith to do what God requires you to do at every point in time. Be mindful of the fact that there will always be a tommorow after tommorow. To wait for perfect condition is to wait endlessly!

Jonah is anything that disobeys God going along with you in the journey of destiny. The crises some people are having today is as a result of one Jonah they accommodate as they proceed in destiny. The lives of some men have never been the same after they came in contact with some people.

Whatever disobeys God going along with you will bring you to perdition. The going may appear smooth at the inception but in a long run will cause you to lose everything. The heart of men is desperately wicked no one can know. Pray very well and seek godly counsel before you bring other people into the ship of your life whether in marital, academic, spiritual and career relationship.

Whatever or whoever will not help you to obey God nor do His will is a Jonah in your ship. This Jonah can also come in form of habit or character developed over the time which will cause an indelible damage in the course of time. You have nothing to lose offloading your Jonah. It will rather bring to calm every tempest of destruction in your destiny.

Focus: The heart of a Good Shepherd

WORD FOR TODAY
The heart of a good shepherd is the heart of Christ who died and laid His life for sins of all mankind. A man will not but fail as a shepherd (Father, Mother, Husband, Wife, Pastor, Teacher or Leader in any capacity) if he does not have a sacrifical heart like that of Christ!!!

Every man will come to a point where the going in life will be deadly and challenging. At that point, you will need people who have the heart of a good shepherd to stand by you to help you out of your predicament. Similarly, in your relationship with men; you will come in contact with people with pressing challenges that can scare people away, when this happens, it is not a time to run but a time to stand by and help such people.

You can only be rest assured of safety, blessing and prosperity in all categories of relationships if you are under a good shepherd. The likes of David, Ruth, Moses, Nehemiah, Joseph etc were people who lived a worthy life of a good shepherd.

By the virtue of the sacrificial life they lived some of their attributes include:

�They are builders and not destroyers.
�They lived a life of sacrifice.
�They stood to help in trying times.
�They are compassionate and good custodians.
�They are blessings and friends indeed.
�They don't see men as ladders they need to rise further in life but make themselves ladders that pull men up.

Despite the fact that they lived sacrificially the glory of the Lord was revealed in their lives. The essence of the word of the Lord coming to you is to prepare you and make your heart like that of a good shepherd.

Nothing destroys a man like ignorance. When the evil one has not laid hold on the true knowledge of God in your life there is nothing such can do in your life. In the garden of Eden, the first thing Satan does was to manipulate the words of God presented.

The false prophets, teachers pastors, fraudster be it in the secular world or in ministry; understand these principles and tries to present a knowledge to override what you already know about God with the aim of gaining access into your life to perform the evil enterprise of their father the devil.

There are people who use to believe the word of God to live a righteous, holy, pure, sanctified life but the devil through deception of worldly riches change their perception to live otherwise.

Having deep knowledge of God and His ways is an important antidote against destruction. Avail yourself to know God and submit to His will for your life. Ignorance is not an excuse before God. You will only enjoy the abundant life the Lord gives when you know and understand your right in God by the virtue of what Christ has done on your behalf.

The nature of a man is the type that can be so eaten up with the fact that nothing happens despite the degree of sin and disobedience to the will of God. However, when it appears as if nothing happens, God is only making allowance for your repentance.

The fact that you are committing sin, dragging the name of God in the mud, using His name to fulfill your selfish desires, bringing strange fire on His altar and living consistently in disobedience to His will and yet nothing seems to be happening to you; does not amount to the fact that what you are doing is right nor stop you from facing the consequence if you fail to repent. The only grace you might be enjoying is the fairness of God in that He takes no pleasure in the death of a sinner.

You don't have to grow wings in your wrong doings. Therefore, let not your confidence in whatever you do be rooted in His fairness. Don't take the grace of God for granted repent from all your sins.

There are several evil men on earth (both believers and unbelievers alike) who are living fine and in riches despite the evil works of their hands. Infact, most times they appear to be much more favoured among men but in the actual sense they are only enjoying the period of Grace made available for all men.

Every creation of God is entitled to some measure of His blessing. This is because the only One and true God is fair to all. Come to think of it; we have those who don't know God but pray to mere wooden idols and still get what they desire. In what they do, they still get inspiration though not from God but from the fact that they get result.

In the world today, there are several beliefs and religions. Those who practice these religions are not doing it for nothing. There is a level of inspiration they get from doing it, not because what they are doing is correct nor a way to eternal life but just because of the fact that God is merciful and at the same time fair in meeting the needs of all His creation.

Therefore, when these people show a kind of confidence in what they are doing because of the result they've seen; such confidence is only rooted in the fairness of God. There is only One true God; Him alone you must serve.

A man settles for death at any point he comes to the realization and live with the consciousness of ultimate achievement in any facet of life. When you are still in the game of life; you must always put your set backs and achievements behind you; because it is not over until it is over!!!

Every man created by God live with the consciousness of getting something. Many times when the Lord wants to draw men to himself He makes promises. To Abraham He said: I will make you the father of nations. Jesus to His disciples: I will make you fishers of men. Hence, when we run to and fro we are all aiming at a goal.

The fact that you are still a living soul establishes the fact that God still kept you in the game of destiny; this implies that much is still expected of you. The rule of the game is that you keep winning when you keep aiming at the goal and that you are only allowed to be either offensive or defensive but not to sleep in the journey.

In the game you are likely to either suffer set backs or make progressive achievement; whichever way, keep pressing towards the goal till the end be it in your marriage, career, academics, ministry and pilgrimage to eternity. If the end has not come it is not over until it is over.

No man will have a sit in high places of various level of life; if no one speaks of him there. There are heights a man can never attain in life until a voice through the help of God speaks well about him in high places!!!

The fulfillment of the precious plan of God for Joseph will only come to pass if someone can just speak concerning him to the highest power in Egypt. He was not ignorant of this; that was why he said "make mention of me to Pharaoh". This principle still holds till date; soaring to the top is very easy when someone above you holds your hand and pull you up.

When the Lord is set to have mercy on a man He connects him to people that matter in high places. For David to fulfill the plan of God for his life he needed to get acquainted with the kingdom affairs. This was not possible until someone spoke about him to King Saul (1Sam 16:18).

One of the criminals who was crucified along with Jesus understood this principle said to Him, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." (Luke 23:42). The height you will reach and how far you will go in destiny depends on the voice that speaks on your behalf in various high places. Even in Heaven, we the children of God have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1John 2:1).

The shock the whole world got was that church moved from being the poorest institution/organisation to being one of the richest in the world, by then they have more enemies if not the whole world to contend with.

What would have been fate of the church if there is no money in this pandemic period. Then church will be begging govt for 10mins on NTA lol, now churches have radio stations, TV stations.etc

Someone mentioned Dangote, if Dangote need TV to grow his business, he would have acquired the whole TV stations, in essence the church is using the media which is a tool for propagation of the gospel and children of devil are crying tithes and offerings

How many people have benefited from you in your community with your non payment of tithes.

Leave tithers alone, your message have no backings atleast tithing didn't stop us from being good to our neighbors.

The funny aspect is as Dangote n co supported the govt, the Church also lend there hands to help the govt. What a wonderful world

Poverty of the soul is a very terrible thing! People can spend 400% of their earnings for partying or to impress people but when it get paying 10% to God it becomes an issue. Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord! I don't care what the church do with my tithe but I care about obeying God to pay my tithe. It is pity that does who pays tithe don't complain. It is those who don't that complain about private jets, Universities, TV stations and many wonderful edifice built by the church that complain.

If the Nigerian government will manage resources the way the church does to have places like Redemption Camp, Canaan land, Glory dome, private Universities own by the Church; This nation would have been a wonderful place!

This spirit of I don't have enough, people must give me is the spirit of poverty; it is not the resources in your disposal that tells if you are poor but believing that you don't have and cannot give. Being liberal in giving to God and people within the measure of God's grace made available for you is the greatest deliverance from poverty!

Don't ask questions when you pass through various issues of life but listen carefully and diligently to get the messages for your world.

The likes of Ruth, Joseph, David, Elizabeth, Daniel speaks the counsel of God to men in this end time by the virtues of what they suffered. Your experience so far in life and the miracles you've witnessed will not only give you the required confidence to face your future but also strengthen the faith of someone in the Lord.

As you proceed in the journey of destiny; you must be mindful of the fact that God will bring to judgement every thing you do. In life, several opportunities will be presented to you in different dimensions.

Opportunity to exercise the power of your will (do whatever you like); serve God and do His will, employ people, pay people their entitlement, help and bless people, retaliate the evils of men, forgive the sins of men, exercise authority in various capacity. Even when it appears as if there is no consequence for some of your actions it does not rule out the fact that God will bring your deeds to judgement.

The Preacher being a man who enjoyed unusual blessings and wisdom is admonishing us by the virtue of his experience that irrespective of what you think you are or can do; you will give account of your deeds.

The major turning point of the lives of most people always come mostly when the word of God comes to them. Men of God like Elisha, Jeremiah, Zachariah, Isaiah, Abraham, Gideon, Moses, Joshua (just to mention few) were just ordinary men until the word of the Lord came to them. We can read and speak about them simply because they accepted the word of God that came to them.

The Lord is so gracious that He still sends His word to us even in this last days. Each time His word comes to you do not harden your heart but accept and surrender yourself to it like Abram and the likes did; for it doesn't at any time come for fun or as a tradition but as an instrument of elevation in righteousness and deliverance from the evil enterprise of the devil.

If there be any of God's word coming to you; it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that you as a man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Fulfillment in life is not how fast a man achieves something but how well his life conforms to God's purpose for his life. The life of a man who lags behind or moves ahead beyond the pace of God's plan for His life in destiny cannot fulfill God's purpose and in the book of God He is a failure.

In your walk with God don't be a horse nor a mule; neither of them is easy for God to lead. The horse is too fast, the mule is too slow. You must agree to go at God's pace for your life. You must realize the following:

1. Your race is against God's purpose for your life, to finish it; not against a neighbour in competition.

2. The benchmark of my performance in the race of life is not with respect to a neighbour; who in comparison always seem better or worse.

3. You are whatever God makes you and once you fulfil HIS PURPOSE for your life, you have won your race!!!

Jesus Christ on the cross said: it is finished! Apostle Paul at a point in destiny said "I have fought a good fight of faith and I have finished the race". They all fulfilled their unique purposes. As you proceed in destiny accept to be led by God and move at His pace for your life!

The young ruler came to Jesus in a bid to know what was required of him to inherit the Kingdom of God. He was excited when the Lord presented to him some of the things he has been doing right from his childhood. However, the Lord did not hesitate to tell him that he still lack just one thing- self denial of the riches attached to his life.

It is not enough that you have also done well to some extent as far as God's requirement for your life is concerned. There are some self righteousness you can claim to have by the virtue of various spiritual activities you engage in. However, you must always be mindful of the verdict of God over your life. You must be sure of the fact that you have submitted and surrendered your all to God in every bid to do His will. If there is an issue to settle with God, do it now that you have grace to do it. Failure to do it will render every good thing you have done useless!!!

Nothing tangible will happen in the life of a man who waits for everything to fall in place automatically.

We must take absolute responsibility to make things happen in the direction of God's will for our lives. We cannot but worry about various necessities of life. If there is any yearning and desire in your heart be willing to take the necessary step to achieve them according to God's will for your life.

Those things that were written in the scripture on the account of the Lord Jesus were the ones He did. In our text; if he did not touch the man he would not have been made whole. Situations of life are unique among unique people who also need specific solution for their respective problems.

Whatever you fail to do will not be in the chronicle of your achievement in life. There is something in you; a driving force called passion created by God to make some things of life easy for you. Be willing to submit your passion under the dictate of the Holy Spirit to enhance the fulfillment of your destiny.

After praying, believing God, having faith always try to take responsibility in the direction of your calling and what you love to do passionately under God.

The fact that the Lord created man for relationship is an important reason why you need men to achieve most things in life. However, you are not expected to put your entire life on what the eyes can see. This is because what the eye can see is temporal.

Don't allow any temporal support to disconnect you from God who is the ever present help in the time of trouble. Men by default will always turn back from you when it seem the going is getting tough with you.

People began to leave King Saul when they saw that things began to fall apart. These where the people who used to be close to him to enjoy the best of the Land. This situation put him under intense pressure which led him to sin.

Thank God for everything the Lord has done for you in your job, home, career etc. When these things are working well it breeds human resource. But when God is set to seek your attention; He sends them away by making you to pass through life challenges so as to concentrate to know Him better and the real values of life.

A man who learnt how to be in fellowship with God irrespective of the physical support in their lives will never be disappointed.

If you must live to please God and fulfill your God's given mandate you must make Jesus Christ your model. Several men whom we look up to have turned out to be disappointments because they also failed to be like HIM.

We saw in the scripture the life of the man of Calvary; Jesus Christ:

1. He lived absolutely to do the will of God the Father; He had no personal ambition of His own (John 4:34).
2. God the Father was pleased with Him (Matt 3:17)
3. He lived as a complete stranger on earth; no attachment to the things of this world (Luke 9:58).
4. He lived to fulfill his assignments within the allocated time given to Him (John 9:4)
5. He is compassionate and blessed several lives (Matt 9:36)
6. He lived a life of love, prayed for His enemies and forgave those who harmed him (Luke.23.34)
7. He lived a life without fault. No sin was found in Him (John 14:30, Luke 23:4).
8. He was humble and simple; sinners, men, women, children had access to Him. He was so simple that the Chief Priest needed a Judas to identify him among His disciples(Matt 9:11; 16–19, 19:14).

This is the summary of what God wants us to be.

Therefore, He commanded all men to love one another just to make up with the inadequacies in every individual's life.

The fact that we are created for relationship shows that we need to be loved by others to complement our lives. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." (1 Cor 13:5).

When true love becomes the order of the day, it appears as if it is blind; its flame burns every shortcomings due to its characteristics. However, when taken for granted, the flame dies a natural death and brings every shortcomings to lime light.

It is not enough to have a wonderful relationship; you must do everything possible to fan the flame of love to keep it lively. Don't be complacent with various inadequacies in your life but make effort through the help of God to get better in various aspect of life to make your life more attractive to people.

God is love; He gave His only son for the remission of our sins. He is still a consuming fire. If you don't want to perish; don't take His love for granted (Jn 3:16).

It is a pity that those countries who had a good citizen oriented government, a working and viable health system with sophisticated equipments and funds happen to be major victims of the pandemic that befell the entire world.

All men who happen to be alive at this point in time are alive not because the evil of this time did not want to consume them but because God's mercy says NO on their behalf. We are all a product of His mercy. Despite our failures and disappointments as far as His will is concerned for our individual life with respect to the measure of grace given to each of us; His compassion fails not.

When the Lord have mercy on a man, he releases grace to Him. When grace is made available, irrespective of what happens you will not be consumed. It is time to acknowledge and worship God who on daily basis keeps renewing His mercy over your life!!!

The brothers of Joseph continue to attribute every misfortune they had as a consequence of what they did to him. The same will play out in the life of every man who chooses to live in guilt. Guilt is a cancer that kills a man from the inside. It deprives men the needed confidence they should have in the battle of life and God's presence.

The heaviness of guilt is debilitating. It causes mental breakage, emotional crippling, even physical deterioration. Overall health and well-being is adversely affected when we carry guilt inside. Human being was psychologically designed for innocence, so as long as there is unresolved guilt within us our quality of life is compromised on all levels.

If you are still living in guilt; take the issues to the cross where the work of reconciliation was perfected. And be ready to submit yourself to principles under God that will ensure total freedom from guilt.

Several people are not happy today not because they are sick but because of what they did not have or what God has not done for them. Hence, they think that their joy will be full at the point of accomplishments. However, life has proven that men lose satisfaction over their aspirations at the point of achievement. They will now realize that "so what I have been labouring to achieve is not more than this".

You cannot be happy having big things in life if you are not happy with the small things God has done for you. Your disposition to life in the days of little beginning is a prototype of what your life will be when your achievement grows. Those who are truly enjoying life are not those who have riches but those who find rest in God's salvation and are contented with the measure of God's grace in their lives.

The Lord is seriously committed to satisfying you with long life if you will dwell within the circumference of His will for your life.

Many people have passed unto eternity but their memory still lingers in the heart of men. Their impact remains fresh each time their lives come to remembrance. This is long life. If there be any God's Glory to be declared through your life you cannot just die (Ps 118:17).

The man who died pre-maturely is the man who died without fulfilling his divine mandate. A fulfilled life is the only definition the Lord has for long life. Therefore, whenever the evil one tends to threaten your life with death; always remember the fact that the Lord said He will satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation just because you have set your love upon Him and know His name and dwell under the shadow of His wings.

The women who ministered to Jesus in the course of His work among men watched from afar when He was crucified. At that point, they couldn't help Him even if they desired to do so.

A time is coming when those who used to help you will no longer be able to do so and there are some issues of life that you alone will bear exclusively. You will not but come to a point where it will be required of you to take critical decision and step forward alone to fulfill your mandate even as others step aside to watch what will become of you.

You must prepare yourself to stand on your feet in every aspect of life. In the midst of the busy schedule of the world you must always step aside to have communion with your Creator. Don't be eaten up by the support you have received or receiving from men, when issues peculiar to your destiny arises you will face it alone.

The devil is not ignorant of the fact that the Lord must have been hungry after fasting for forty days; hence, he told Him to turn stones into bread. The Lord made it clear to him that "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."
(Matt.4.4). In like manner the devil will always come to you and instruct you to do the same in various aspect of life.

Today several men are performing "wonderful miracles" turning stones to bread and at the same time consuming it. They embezzle funds kept in their care to enrich themselves; train their children in school, build houses, buy cars and several wonderful possessions of life. In this season when people are seriously in need they withhold the salaries of men, some of their houses are loaded with resources meant to give to people but they kept it for themselves.

Those who engage in pre-marital sex, adultery, take or give bribe, steal what belongs to others and the likes are not left out. All what we enjoy as men will surely finish, hence, be mindful of the fact that
"Man shall not live by bread alone". Every stone you eat as bread will never help you but will rather kill you, because the wages of sin is death. Don't eat stones as bread honour the word of God in everything you do!!!

Unforgiveness is a tool in the hands of the devil to tie you down to your past and hinder you from moving into your greatness. Imagine a man that is sad today because of what someone did to him ten years ago. Unforgiveness sows the seed of bitterness which robs a man the liberty to enjoy life and live under the influence of God's favour and grace.

Jesus in his teachings made it clear to us that a man will only deserve and obtain mercy if he is merciful. Despite all they did to Him at calvary in a build up to becoming the Lord of all, He said "Father forgive them ..." Each time you allow the Spirit of Christ to rule in your life it will not be difficult for you to forgive the offence of men.

Pride is a factor that hinders men to forgive those who offend them. Hence, God Himself will oppose men who do not forgive their offenders. It is true that what that man did to you is very grievous but at the same time you cannot allow the offence of men to tie you back to your past. There is more to life than your past; you have to forgive and move into success and victory ahead of you!!!

The essence of every prayer is to ensure that the will of God is done as it is in heaven. You have not prayed until your prayers is tailored towards the will of God to be done in heaven. As far as God is concerned whatever is contrary to God's will as it is done in heaven is a waste in the Kingdom investment.

Your ministry will not pay God if it is not in agreement with what God wants to do in heaven. Jesus made it clear to us that He will deny several men who claim to work in His name; this is because what they claimed to do, did not have any effect in God's eternal presence. There is no other way to labour in vain under God than to work contrary to the will of God as it is in heaven.

Your marriage, academics, business, career will not fulfill the purpose of God if it is not in conformation with the will of God for your life. In every thing you do, be mindful of the fact that everything you are doing on earth will finish and you will meet God someday. Seek to know the will of God for your life so as to fit in appropriately to God's plan and purpose for your life.
