You have none. You should have said this from the start.

A holy spirit encounter
Lol I'm only 24 maybe it's not too late grin
Ooooor maybe there just isn't anything like that atall and y'all are just decirving yourselves. I go with the latter though smiley
Why would the holy spirit make you to be convulsing upandan and scattering yourself on the floor
Is that not madness
Can't he come in a sane way undecided
Christianity Etc › Re: Deep Question....what Will You Miss Most On Earth If You Happen To Die Today? by jonbellion(m): 3:05pm On Nov 29, 2016
Man I'm only 24 nows not the time to be thinking of that one smiley
Christianity Etc › Re: Scientific Study Of Speaking In Tongues by jonbellion(m): 2:54pm On Nov 29, 2016
Actually when I was a christian I never had any interest in the nonsense
Maybe because most people I knew didn't seem to do it genuinely
They usually had a ringtone or something on their phone and they always related the same gibberish in every prayer
I don't think this is how angels converse
Christianity Etc › Re: Scientific Study Of Speaking In Tongues by jonbellion(m): 2:52pm On Nov 29, 2016
Seun:
The video suggests that some Christians do not consciously concoct nonsense words when they speak in tongues. For those Christians, the tongues come from their subconscious minds while they are emotionally aroused. Those Christians are under a genuine and honest delusion.

You were a church goer, not a christian! Now give us scientific proof of hypnotism through air blowing.
what kind of no true Scotsman fallacy is this huh
Anybody that left Christianity was never a christian??
Well I do know I've given my life to Christ and was in the choir when I was still a christian
Ummm I beg your pardon@thie second sentence

naijadeyhia:
I am not a Religious person. I have a relationship with God so that eliminates Religion from me.

If you have fully left then stay "left" and enjoy your "leaving".
so you don't actively go to church

naijadeyhia:
You have never left. Your body may have but your mind betrays your body otherwise you would not be hovering around Christian posts like Vultures. Can you be busy and be expending so much energy over something you not only believe is nonsense but does not exist?
that's the point I'm not busy right now
Until January
And yes I have completely left I just talk about religion cuz it plays an important part in our society and unbelievers like myself don't have a voice in it
I mean would you people even vote for an unbeliever as your leader
No you would not
You people sef
You just want people like atheists and unbelievers to shut up while you get to talk about your beliefs freely undecided
I wouldn't care if it has not eaten so deeply in your society. If there were followers of Santa Claus imposing thier beliefs and letting it influence our society then yes i would talk about Santa claus smiley

Christianity Etc › Re: An Atheist Historian Proves Jesus Existed by jonbellion(m): 1:57pm On Nov 29, 2016
foladara777:
Even if Jesus existed which I believe he did, it's still not proof that he is God or the son of Gof
That is what these people don't understand
Take thy Greek Gods for example
The Greeks are known for immortalizing their kings and making them Gods
Alexander the great is a good example
It is very likely Zeus was a man turned to a God
So even if a man like zeus existed they does not mean he overthrew the titan empire of his father kronos started the reign of the Olympian Gods
That's rubbish
Christianity Etc › Re: An Atheist Historian Proves Jesus Existed by jonbellion(m): 1:47pm On Nov 29, 2016
Pidgin2:
Athiests get away, we are better than you in every way because we believe in Jesus. If you don't believe, it's your call stay, just stay away from us
huh

We slayed you in your first thread and now you open another? You are fighting a losing battle. Clearly in your first thread even with your self acclaimed high IQ you did not understand its content and we helped you explain it in simple terms and them showed you MENSA statisitics which clearly showed theists being 49% of their members and atheists 1.8% or so. Even atheists are too dumb to be allowed into MENSA.

Guy get a life.

PDBonline has even helped you explain this one as well since you also failed to understand it
lol

The frontal lobes were not involved............unless this study is run on an unbeliever and the result varies before I'll take speaking in tongues seriously

Let them get an unbeliever and let him speak this same gibberish and lf his frontal lobe is involved.......... it'll shut a lot of mouths

jizzus
unbelievers that left the faith also "speak in tounges"
Babies under 2 and intoxicated people also "speak in tounges"

Would you have felt nice if i had blotted out your question as well? If this scientific backing to speaking in tongues is rubbing you the wrong way then quietly exit the thread and stop being a nuisance.
huh
Apoeremtly you didn't see what he did there
Christianity Etc › Re: Scientific Study Of Speaking In Tongues by jonbellion(m): 10:45am On Nov 29, 2016
Emmanystone:
[s]When you do not know something, keep quiet.

Speaking in tongues is not the same thing as Speaking in other tongues.

Every Christian shd speak in tongues, which is communicating directly to God, while speaking in other tongues is a GIFT. This GIFT is given to whom God chooses. Not all speaks in Other Tongues.

To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
1 Cori

This is when the Holy Spirit takes up the tongue of a man and give him utterance to speak a language alien to him, with the intent of communicating to the people of that language in their language.

Speaking in Tongues does not require interpretation, but speaking in other Tongues does.

What happened on the day of Pentecost was Speaking in Other Tongues, not Speaking in Tongues.

When speaking in Tongues, we talk to God, but When speaking in Other Tongues God is speaking to Men through another Man.

Leave the things of the Spirit to the spiritual, face your atheism[/s].

Christianity Etc › Re: Scientific Study Of Speaking In Tongues by jonbellion(m): 10:07am On Nov 29, 2016
But naijadeyhia
This isn't the kind of speaking in tounges the bible talked about
This is still gibberish
Speaking in tounges is speaking in a different language other than yours and that is what befell peter and his crew on the day of Pentecost

A ten-year old should just be leaving primary school. Unless it's an extremely tall child, his leg would not even be able to hit the accelerator while focusing on the windshield. It's not about the family background, a ten-year old is simply too young to understand the dynamics of driving a car. Which parent go even allow him ten-year old drive car? No dey lie bros...and that word is 'fathom'. Phantom na ghost.
lol that dude
He must always talk even when it makes the least bit of sense

there are wrong spellings with comprehensible content in the post .so why not keep spellings out of the picture and just spew your ignorance just the way your likes are doing..
and when did I say thiests have no sense of reasoning undecided
Your hatred is driving you nuts bro grin
Christianity Etc › Re: hypocrisy in Africans atheism... by jonbellion(m): 8:02am On Nov 29, 2016
For the umpteenth time most athiests are agnostic
Atheistic towards religous Gods and agnostic towards the supreme being
How many times do I have to tell you this so that it will sink into your head
It's like your brain has the gravitational pull of an asteroid
The Abrahamic God doesn't exist
Deal with it cool
