Madness on the rise. Where do we go from here. Anyways read this story and ease your stress. Once upon a time, when the trees were the land of the squirrels, there was famine in the land of Animals. The pig luckily found fresh spinach by a river bank. He fetched 5 baskets and brought them home for his step-mother to cook. When the spinach was done, only 1 basket was left. The pig took a knife in anger and killed his step-mother and buried her. He went back to the river bank, fetched same quantity and cooked them himself, only to discover that it is the same outcome as that cooked by his step-mother. He became sorry. The pig went digging with his snout, searching for his step-mother. He is still doing so till date. Lesson from the story: Do not vent your frustration from the Nigerian problem on anyone. Not, on the President, not on ur neighbours, not on yourself. Say no to suicide. The storm will be over someday. |

But the painful reality is that most of them forget easily and join hands with the devil in his war of wickedness and oppression against the poor and the weak. Firstly, the word 'slang' has no 's' in its plural. Slang is slang no matter the 'quantity'. Secondly, I'd like to highlight few other words, phrases etc which Nigerians have exclusively made their own -to give a diff meaning other than their real/original English meaning/import 1. Flash me. In naija, this means to ring someone and stop before the call is picked. Meanwhile to flash, in the UK means to raise one's skirt and reveal d undies in a split second to someone 2. You tried.
