In my honest opinion, this is a senseless project for the simple reason that spending that $2.8billion to build just the pipeline would have built the largest Solar farm in the world(2500MW) right in Kano which could probably supply all of the Electricity needs of North West Nigeria.
There is so much sunlight wasting away in the north it’s a no brainer spending that much to build a pipeline to transport gas from the Niger Delta when gas availability is not even guaranteed.

The current largest Solar Power Station in the world is in Pavagada, India @ 2000MW. It cost $2.1b.
With $2.8bn there is no reason not to do something like that with that kind of money.

If you spend $2.8bn to build a pipeline to pump gas all the way up, you still need to build a gas power plant costing same amount, you also need to ensure maximum security of those pipelines over hundreds of kilometers etc.

A solar plant would have made all the sense a million times more.

Work (or hustle) is a divine mandate, and being productive, solving problems, and earning a profit is still part of worship. You are likely to be someone who is swayed by material evidence, so by God grace, I'll remind you about this post when I earn my big tech deal. I serve God and my walk with him is gloriously fruitful spiritually and materially (Baba too sure!).

Just so you know, even the natural laws of success depend on the mercy and love of God to function as they do.

Everyone can do programming, even biochemistry students. But the deal (even in computer science) is that you're the determiner of how your programming skills evolve.

In terms of job prospects, EEE & ECE are the same. But I don't even expect you to wait on a job. If you become good at programming in Nigeria, the jobs will come knocking.

FOCUS on programming specifically 'Python programming'. Get as many tutorial books and videos as possible. Master it!

I don't do hardcore programming, but manage software projects. My firms founder is a full stack developer who finished from chemistry department UNN. Another superlioness is at one of the top payment processing firms in Nigeria, she finished from biochemistry.

Dude, if you're comfortable with code, waste no time.

The reason God encourages people to wait until marriage to have sex is that when us have sex outside of marriage, we run a very high risk of messing things up. And this is particularly true for men who tend to imprint off of their early sexual experiences much like a wild crane (a bird).

Some birds like wild cranes imprint on the first thing it sees when it's born, a baby crane will follow a chicken as its mother if that's the first creature it sees when it's born (hatched). Professional ornithologists (bird scientists) usually wear giant crane suits when they work with these birds, so these birds get the right first impression.

How does this relate to men and sex?

As already stated, men like some animals tend to imprint off of their experiences; in this case, early sexual encounters. If a man's early sexual experiences are in the context of lust (which is what they are outside of marriage) - it's not really about commitment, but heat, lust, backseat of a car, dark alley in a cinema hall, lonely next-door neighbour, body count etc. They tend to imprint on the sex and not the girl. Eventually, when men have these early orgasmic experiences, their psyche goes ... 'Wooo! what was that!?' and they start taking mental pictures - because they want to remember this ineffable moment (this is imprinting). Unfortunately, a lot of guys get stuck here, and that's why many men in their marriages are trying to recreate a lust environment - trying to get fulfilled sexually as a married man, trying to force their wives to do things that a lot of them are uncomfortable in doing.

Why are they doing that? They are trying to recreate those early experiences.

On the other hand, if a man's early sexual experiences are in the context of marriage - where he falls in love with a girl and all these people gather together, and they all approve of it, and they have their wedding in a church, and God approves of it, and all their family and friends approve of it and they have the biggest celebration of their life. And on their wedding night, and on their honeymoon; they start having these first orgasmic experiences - he's imprinting on the girl. And he connects to the girl at a very deep level.

That's why people who wait till marriage before they have sex have a fraction of the divorce rate of the rest of the world, because he's imprinting on her than just sex.

Imprint is dangerous not just in premarital sex, but also in masturbation and many unnatural sexual behaviours (dildos and intimacy gadgets and pornography). Many cases of 'unfulfilling' sexual experiences in marriage is because of past lust-based sexual experiences.

Now, for women, the imprint thing is about what happens after the sex - and when women have sex outside of marriage, nothing happens after sex. There's no connection, there's no follow-up, therefore they imprint that 'sex means nothing', 'sex equals nothing'. That's why so many married women have such negative attitudes about sex.

But if a woman waits until her wedding night and sees that this is how she connects with this guy, then she understands that it means everything, it's a key, a very fundamental thing. And this is particularly bad for women who have been sexually molested, not only does sex not mean anything, their whole experience was forced on them and that negative early experience has a terrible impact on their sex life.

On a physical level, science proves that women with multiple sexual partners do not respond the same to sex. This is because women typically release oxytocin when they have sex (oxytocin gives a woman buzz and helps her to connect emotionally), it's the same chemical released into their bloodstream when they breastfeed a baby. It's called the bonding chemical and it's secreted less and less the more sexual partners a woman has.

SEX is a beautiful and natural part of God's design but wrong usage is disastrous as these five facts about sex clearly affirm:

5. The rampant spread of STD's flatly contradicts those who try to claim that sexual intercourse his a harmless recreational activity to be pursued with the highest number of partners possible. (This is the key factor that influenced sexual behaviours in the Victorian era - topic for another day).

One time, after 500L, I left my laptop in the power electronics lab. Shortly after, the guy with the only key to the lab left before I returned to pick up my PC, sometime around 9pm. Already, I'd purchased a bus ticket back to Lagos from Nsukka for the next day.

Now, as a responsible student and a respectable student ambassador, I trekked all the way to the PG Hostel looking for the man with the lab key. Unfortunately, halfway to Odili hall, my phone died huh

And I didn't know this guy's room number.

But I continued my journey because the incurable optimist in me kept whispering - 'maybe, just maybe when you get to the hall, you'll find your guy sitting in front of the hall or somewhere along the hallway, or watching television in the cafeteria'. Well I must have checked all those locations no less than 3 times. Man was nowhere to be seen!

Then I got desperate!

In my 5 awesome years of UNI. This was the night I embraced the roar of my inner devils. And like a flash from the blue, I heard a voice say, 'Go back and do whatever you must to get your laptop out of that lab'

With each step back to the lab, my desperation grew.

Immediately I reached EE department, standing right in front of Power Electronics lab, I noticed the wide glass partitions above the door of the lab. Now the only way into the lab was to reach above the door, open the glass partition, jump into a lecturer's office and use a door that opened into the Power Electronics lab.

I've never had more adrenaline in my whole life than when I did all of the above that night. Retrieved my PC and went back to my lodge at 11:55pm. Laughed all the way back knowing that I nearly compromised 5 years of hard-work and sufferhead.

PS: Sexual recklessness and emotional irresponsibility/immaturity is NOT FUN!!!

And could you be implying that reckless premarital sexual adventures have no effect on marital happiness and lasting commitment in marriage?

My dear leave Bodycount matter, ladies with high Body count especially retired and repackaged olosho are the ones getting married every Saturdays, that's to show you that this life is fu**ked. So whatever happened in school, stayed in school.
