PoliticsRe: APC To Conduct Fresh Primary In Kogi by Jonwesley(m): 8:48pm On Nov 24, 2015
tempem:
it's not about being brilliant. . You're also reasonable.
What is brilliant or reasonable in what he said that you are praising him for? Rubbish.

Faleke was not and never participated in the primary election. He was just handpicked to be deputy. How can somebody who never participated in a primary election and who was handpicked to deputize the governor in a inconclusive election take over the dead man's position of governorship position?

He therefore cannot step into Audu's position despite them being in a joint ticket. Okay? Otherwise U want PDP to upturn things against APC in the court as being canvassed in Taraba state. It's either a new primary election is done or any of those who contested the primary with Audu is picked to replace him. If Faleke has strength and popularity he should test himself. Bello by his actions to support Wada after he lost yo Audu has wasted this opportunity. Ocholi based on APC arrangements has a brighter chance in the new primary election. He being a minister already fits better for APC.
PoliticsRe: Audu Buried Amidst Resurrection Rumours . PICTURE. by Jonwesley(m): 5:13pm On Nov 23, 2015
Didn't anyone notice that the picture attached is not Audu's body? I'm seeing Abdulsalami Abubakar, IBB and other prominent people in that mosque.

This picture is lies from hell. Our news reporting is sensational since AD 0001.
PoliticsRe: Confusion In Kogi Over ‘Resurrection’ Of Audu Abubakar - Naij.com by Jonwesley(m): 1:48pm On Nov 23, 2015
If this is true, then the muslims should not hurry to bury their dead as they could be burying people who are in coma, and not dead in real sense by their 48hrs limit burial rites after someone's demise.
PoliticsRe: Legal Implications Of Abubakar Audu's Death – Festus Keyamo by Jonwesley(m): 12:05pm On Nov 23, 2015
janellemonae:
If inec says fresh elections, APC will say fresh campaigns, dis means d incumbent will overstay as governor - another constitutional issue DT will be taken to d courts. Who will then be d interim governor? And does d constitution even provide for this? It will all snowball out of control.
Cos any rat can take inec to court based on d law.
I want to differ in your point of APC demanding for fresh campaigns. APC can't dictate a rule to INEC. They won't be fresh campaigns, but a nomination or allowing the runner up to Abubakar Audu to pick the mandate. That will solve the issue of overstaying of the incumbent governor. And i think rather than Wada continuing, the constitution has provisions if by the date of handing over, the processes have not been ended or concluded.

Hiann,,,, There are many opinions on this matter and this lacuna was created because of the high limitations of our constitution. Is it not sad that a country like Nigeria can't think enough to have thought about this kind of event and made a clear statement in the constitution right a way and avoid all these unfortunate scenarios being brandished by all what not.....? It's a disgrace.

A joint ticket, yes! but got disjointed by death by the main political Juggernaut AUDU, NOT FALEKE!

APC leading, yes! but election declared inconclusive by the umpire INEC. Hence no winner yet o!

My opinion, INEC should cancel the elections and call APC to renominate a fresh candidate who also will pick a running mate, however FALEKE can still be the running mate as arranged and agreed by the leaders of APC.

There should be nothing like FALEKE stepping in as AUDU was never sworn into the office. No certificate of return, etc

I'm not a lawyer yet o! Clap for me later, when this is what happens. And i'm very sure, this will be the position of the supreme court.

"This is a lady that allegedly insults hell out of me when I was poor".......

The usage of "allegedly" in the above quote from the OP story proved that the insults he claimed were not yet confirmed, hence just believing hear say only is what this Tundra addicted owner is basing his retaliation action upon.

The girl may have uttered the first statements that he was not up to her level just for the OP to push further and justify he is or he will be by the grace of God, and which has happened as the story said.

So don't blame her entirely for being too naive about person's destiny. We all make mistakes in choices and regret such fallouts when it happens. Understand that stuff happens.

It has more to do with you jaree. Someone garnered enough 'likes' through an intelligent post in form of a rhetorical question, and then you came up from nowhere trying to act as Chief Editor on Nairaland.

If you need some likes, beg him to share his bounty with you. Something tells me he has a generous-to-a-fault nature.

Nonsense.
What? The response or reply made was not adequately presented, no matter how many likes it attracted. A harmless contribution I made that would have been apt to draw gbam "likes" has become a pain in ur ass. Why not hug a PHCN transformer or take some of your afternoon pills to calm down. If everything has been done and does not require knowledge addition, then the world has come to an end. There is always room for improvements in any situation please.

When you say this, you are active. Your denial will be in vain. Why asking what is sex, when the question was "are you sexually active". Your reply should have been "what is sexual active?" or "sexual activity?".

EducationRe: Please Advice; Degree In Nursing Or Degree In Electrical Engineering by Jonwesley(m): 9:49pm On Nov 18, 2015
My take is, it was medicine you wanted before you were offered Nursing. Both are not the same hence your fancy is not what was offered. Now U have a better grasp of Engineering, having had an ND and working experience and some savings that can run the Engineering course. Take the Elect/Elect course. Note well that Nursing will require some constant training as mandated by the Nursing & midwifery councils which expire with time. You will play second fiddle with doctors who will outshine U and create a mind in you to go and study medicine after your degree in nursing and all that. Then if the other admissions come positive, we can review the options then, but don't miss ur chances now as a bird at hand is better than ten U are chasing which may never come to ur hand.

[quote author=olokpa11 post=38054875]lies from the pit of hell, delta state has nearly the highest number of private paved roads, in delta state, a whole street comes tight and buy transfomers for themselves with the so called rich men foxing out the largest bills, as bad as ubeji and shaguolo road is, I would be very disappointed if ayiri decides to fix that road, a place that houses NNPc and NGC yet corruption at the top won't make them fix it,Are u expecting okocha and co to help government build a stadium? pls get ur facts correct , u really need to wake up[/quote

I have nothing to say to you. Positive criticism should be accepted by everybody, rather than self delusion and pride. Again you have just exhibited the unfortunate character that is your bane. Enough said!

Sorry you are getting it wrong... He is the very one who broadcasted the findings of his committee even when other members of the committee tried to hush him. At that time he even dissappeared to London away from distractions to personally prepare the very report which exposed the $16billion scam. At the end, the cabals involved set a trap for him and being a greedy man himself, he fell... and that was how the content of the report was rubbished. But are the contents of his report true?... the answer is a resounding YES.

His case was exactly the same for ahmed Lawan of the fuel subsidy scam... Lawan was also very vocal about the findings of his committee which were the absolute truth, but because of his little greed, the cabal once again used his greed to rubbish the report till date. But are the contents of his report true?... the answer is also a resounding YES.
Yes, very correct. Thank you. You have just done what I want and both of us have reconciled. Instead of the bashing, we only needed to state our points or convince each other on what we know. It was this failure of him that offended me and which by and large affected the probe.

What on earth are u talking about?... Is it not common knowledge that OBJ's regime squandered $16bn on power?.... How do you think that info came to the knowledge of the public if not through this man?... Now you accuse him of changing song?.... What do you mean by that?

You have simply exhibited a typical Nigerian trait of attacking persons instead of issues. There is absolutely no basis or justification for your present attack of the messenger instead of discussion the message.
Please understand me well. I'm hurting because he failed Nigerians and it was not through him that that information was revealed. Ask people please. Do you know this man has an EFCC case over this same probe which U attribute to him revealing? Why is the EFCC case on him for goodness sake? Where is the reports of that panel which he chaired then?

Stop being a blind black man....

Nigeria spent over $25billion in 16 years and generated only 2,850mw, Brazil spent $12billion and generated 12,000mw and china spent $26billion and generated 22,500mw. This is what any wise person should be ruminating on and not whether Emulewu took bribe or not.
Who is the blind man here, if not you. Do I need to go to brazil to do the right thing for my country? Who doesn't know the facts of the corruption that went on in the power sectorand that you are just clapping hands for what he said. My reaction to this is while he was the chair of the panel that probed the power sector, what made him to change his song rather than exposing what went wrong. He now want to say everything because he has been caught and to me, it's too late.
CultureRe: What Makes Delta People Tick? By Azuka Onwuka Of Punch by Jonwesley(m): 8:21pm On Sep 15, 2015
Yes, you wrote a good history and it's commendable. But they are the most selfish Nigerians I have ever come across. A delta man makes money to suffer a neighbour or enslave others. And that is why any Delta man that finds himself in a position is usually corrupt to enrich himself alone becos he feel it's his time to loot. A delta man can build a big mansion inside a street but would not look at the street to tar it or make it motorable for all to benefit. He prefer to suffer with others rather than using his money. He can buy diesel for his generator for a year, a cost that can bring a powerful transformer and connect better power, but he can't because he feels he can't be poor again and others should wait on government. They like to show class and fight of who has had the best in anything creating unhealthy rivalry leading to assassinated killings. They have no regard for neighbourliness and stupefied, puffed up with nepotistic, gingoistic attachments. If you don't begged a deltan for something, he does not know you are existing. I'm totally sincere about this, and that is the reason, despite the roll call the poster has made development is far from attainment. In fact Delta holds the highest wins in the Nigerian sports festival that is staged like the olympics in the country, but look at their best stadium in warri or the abandoned one in Asaba, an eyesore. Unless deltans change from these unholy and unworthy attitude of being called a state that eats up its inhabitants, nothing positive will happen. Deltans we learnt wept at first when they saw the development of FCT and that started militancy in the Niger Delta. But add up all the fat allocations, 13% derivations over the years and you ask what happen? The money by now will be more than what they used in building Abuja. They are just impossible!
PoliticsRe: Elumelu Exposes Multi-billion Naira Power Sector Fraud by Jonwesley(m): 7:25pm On Sep 15, 2015
Look at what this man is saying, he has no conscience at all. The same Elumelu, while as chairman of the power probe connived with the same cable and was paid a handsome kick back to contrive the outcome of the probe. He was exposed in the scam and arrested by the EFCC for corruption to which he is still standing trials till today I think. Now he is opening his mouth to say what happened or transpired but couldn't do it when the whole country was banking on him to do the needful. He is an embarrassment to Nigeria and should keep his mouth shut

If palmwinetapper is not Munachi, how then we see on Nairaland every day posts on Muna has farted, Muna went to the market, Muna has change cream, with pictures of her when she was 7 years, 12 years, etc. The only beauty queen to date her jnr brother age, the only oyinye that should have married Psquare and so on. Even a personal assistant cannot remember all these. But do you blame her, Nairaland is faceless forum and she need to protect herself from everybody. Palmwinetapper is Munachi Abii.

It's just that I like her, that is why her posts catch my eye. But for her not to comment on other posts but inundate us only with her posts always, over to the mods.

PoliticsRe: Tambuwal's Convoy Passes Through Floods As He Visits Sokoto Communities. Photos by Jonwesley(m): 7:35pm On Sep 14, 2015
If Sokoto state can be flooded like this, it's a bad sign for states around the river Niger and Benue and the coastal states of the Niger Delta. There is a high probability of flooding in Nigeria as it happened some years ago and therefore people should watch and prepare ahead now that they have been warned.
