First of all, I'm not calling you contract you staff, I just categorized you and "DPR &Contract staff" together because you're coming with "negative" sauces...
Also, note I always put DPR and Contract staff in quotes whenever I mentioned them in situations like this. You should have known the reason behind that if you've been on this thread since immediately after the interview.


We believed many Contract staff are "embittered" towards the release of APL, because as we heard it, they want them to be converted to full employees, but most of them failed the CBT test, while "DPR guys" that didn't get / yet to get APL, wants the same horrible experience for us here (that's what it seems to many of us here).

But then again, why pick"Contract staff" and not "DPR"?

There are many lies in this recruitment, and if you keep opening your ears, you will hear more lies. Lies have been on since, from cancellation, to fake release, to whatever.......NNPC needs E.H, if not it won't bring it out; even bring out many E.H roles. You have come up with another theory, and mind you, the E.H role has national interest, with probably top powers eyeing it. The E.H is among those for notification.

If you want to hear more rumours, you can keep your ears open for it. You will discover that several of them are lies...

Just calculate how many lies or wrong news you have heard in this recruitment.

A man earning 300k monthly cannot be compared to a man earning 1.5m monthly likewise a man earning 40k cannot be compared to a man earning 300k.

The term “poor” is relative to its usage and context.

What you're missing is that, in Nigeria at the moment, you can hardly meet up with basic needs with 40k, and that can be termed as poor, but with 300k? except luxury like having fleet of cars, exotic holidays in places like tahiti or Miami of this world, one will surely be comfortable and can still plan holidays in nice places with that amount. So earning 300k is not poor in Nigerian context.

A man earning 40k currently can earn 400k in few months or years once better opportunity arises likewise a man currently earning 300k “can” be jobless in months or years due to his actions or inactions or just bad investment or anything. These things are not cast in stones.

As she said, marriage is a long term thing and you can’t go changing husband or wife the way you change jobs so the comparison doesn’t cut it.

If you are with a man earning 300k now and you meet a man earning 1.5m monthly, will you leave your current man for the “new man” because he offer better option?

Someone earning 300k in Nigeria is not POOR nau, aside other benefits, NNPC GT is not even earning up to that at the moment, and here we're scrambling over the offer.

Please don't let anybody blackmail you into refunding the money quickly, until it's proven beyond reasonable doubt, that the account matches that of the original sender, (and even, it's not a case of money laundry gone south)

Some people are not happy you guys are collecting tfare "twice" thus using reverse psychology to put fear into you, all in the name of "morality" and APL.

Note: Refunding is not the problem, but to the right account.

Nigga, pulease! when did you become GMD? Refunding money is not the problem, but sending it to the wrong hand, is what worries people.
1. Has it even been proven beyond reasonable doubt that those that received tfare more than once were over paid?
2. Has it been proven beyond reasonable doubt, that the account to refund the money matches the account that sent the money in the first instance?
3. One guy was mentioning priority account, what is priority account and how does it work?
4. How could NNPC be making this mistake, don't they cross check or separate the accounts they've credited from the others?
5. Why sending refund message to those that only received tfare once, or non at all?


6. What's the latest on the recruitment, or "status quo" really means everything must be on hold, and no more sauces, even from panalyst and cavalier?
7. It's three months and 12 days now after the conclusion of the interview.
8. At least, no more "naijatruth, Easymoneysniper et al" of this Nairaland

You really don't need to get there exactly the time stated, so long you get there on time, you'll be allowed to take the test. The timing doesn't really matter. One advice... Get there as early as possible and you can join the 9:00am batch so you can get back to your destination before night fall.

The process has not been cancelled please. Yes it’s currently on hold pending when approvals are given to the new package review for all the staffs at NNPC. I was told the new mgt are delaying it because of the package review currently at presidential villa for approval. They won’t want to issue APL to new recruits with the old package. So that’s the reason behind the suspension of the process. He also said Maybe in November or December it’ll be concluded.

Though, it's expected becos most people here have been paid, nobody cares anymore. Before the payment stopped it wasn't really an issue. I don't really like talking about it becos I feel that no one is sure of anything. Sometimes when we bring it up, we are just concerned and we should be a little concerned. Even sometimes when I ask some people if they have been paid, I'm just trying to find out if they did the interview. Here's the gist, if truly some people were paid twice, as it was claimed here, then the reason you're yet to be paid is simply MISTAKE from NNPC part, or what could be the reason those guys were paid twice? how about those that were paid lesser compared to other applicants from the same address/CBT? e.g Kaduna is 6k, some were paid 3k, Ibadan is 16k, some were paid 12k...
But really, don't tell me you're still nursing ABT, because that bus is long bust...
