Bolustic:http://www.ajol.info/index.php/tzool/article/view/52080 There are many more if you know your way around academic archives. Just because you can't find something doesn't mean it's non-existent. Kind regards. |
joey150:Okay, sah. |
martinkem:Your calculation is wrong. Since 1kb is 1kobo, 10mb (10,000kb) will cost 10,000 kobo. That's ₦100 (10,000 ÷ 100). |
Nice one. Lalasticlala, please move this to the permanent site. ![]() |
femi4:I wish to sincerely show my appreciation for the help rendered. Your type is rare. You're not only helping us for free, you're doing it promptly without any hassle. Thank you very much for the unlock code. It works.

Good morning, Femi4. Kindly help me get the unlock code for my Huawei e3531 modem, model E3531s-2 with IMEI 860556025419631. Thank you for your anticipated assistance. |
Piers Morgan had to write that because the Nigerian tweeted him to accept the fact that not everyone has English as their first language. Take it from me, many do not even know how to read and write in that native language they claim to understand better. |
Well, we can never rule that out completely. However, I am of the opinion that our first reaction to things like this shouldn't be disbelief. I guess it all boils down to the image Nigerians have created for themselves as fraudsters and people who are not to be trusted with money. At the end of the day, it is your money and you should use it for a cause you believe in. Regards. |
ozy4christ:Thank you. I am not the originator of this kind gesture, I just contributed my part and encouraged people to do the same. Yes, the initiator has contacted the girl and her mum concerning the trust fund. I wouldn't mind people coming together to help me achieve my dreams. Sincerely, educate yourself by perusing the #GroundnutGirl hashtag on Twitter. |
ozy4christ:Hello, ozy4christ. She's not a begger, but she needs the help of well-meaning people to help her achieve her dreams. I don't know what aim you think I want to achieve by sharing her story here, but if you think it's for personal financial gains then I really am sorry for you. Lend a helping hand if you can, and if you can't don't discourage people who want to. |
When the picture of this young girl was posted on social media, it quickly went viral. The girl in the picture was doing her homework under the streetlights while selling groundnuts to help her widowed mum. Please donate to help the cause of this girl. The one I hear and use almost on a daily basis is 'o'. As in "I don't know the answer to this question o, it's a question for the gods!' |
Richard Dawkins was right about memes, they do spread and mutate. The rate at which the bogus warm water + salt therapy for Ebola spread and mutated yesterday was alarming. Here's hoping the unfit meme exit the meme pool. When your Big brother, Uncle Sam says you should wait for the experimental drug and you have no other choice, then you wait. Maybe this will teach that more money should be spent on the development of science rather than elections. |
I've had a similar experience, but not quite the same. I searched for a good camera on their website (Jumiadotcomdotng) and placed an order for it. A few days later they contacted me to tell me the product was out of stock. I asked them when they would re-stock and they said the price of the product had shot up in the International market, so they didn't know if the price would remain the same. They asked if I'd prefer a cash refund to a voucher and I picked the former. To my surprise, they prepared a voucher of the same price as the product! Like many people have stated, the voucher can only be used on Jumia. I had to mail them again that I chose cash refund and not voucher. To their credit, they processed my refund through Interswitch and I got my money back after 5 working days. |
abuliveyoung: i'm yet to recover from the shock of being posted to jigawa for my Nysc.....i didn't knw who i offended b4 the posting took place, am very sure that this would come 2 past. Can some1 pls orientate me abt d social aspect of d state, most especially the 'yarinya' aspect? Or na we corpers go dey help ourselves ní?Can't stop laughing o!!! You no offend anybody jare. Jigawa is also part of Nigeria. It's a call to serve and I hope you do it right. If you're a football lover, you have absolutely no problem! I watch Champions League matches here, and walk back to my house around 11pm. Don't allow anyone to feed your fear by telling you all sort of negative stories about the state. Although, I can't speak for the entire state, I have friends in some other LGs and the news have been positive. If you're a download freak, you might find the place a little bit disappointing. I think only Airtel has 3G coverage, and that's in Dutse. I'm sure MTN doesn't, as you will find out in camp. About the 'yarinya' aspect, I guess your best bet would be to look towards your fellow corps members for 'help.' But hey! We are already short on girls here! All dem girls don redeploy finish for camp. I hope the trend doesn't continue. |
airmark: Is ajasa still rapping? I only see olamide around. Someone close to him is that small boy, Dharsaw. He is still underground to me, though. You're right about Dharsaw, he's really coming up. He's had some really nice singles, my fav is Tempted to Touch. I just wish he would face his music squarely now rather than cooking up beef. Another very talented Yoruba rapper is Jhybo. I think he's still above Dharsaw in the pecking order, although my younger bro will disagree with me! |
I know this thread ha been closed for a while now, but there's nothing wrong in replying. Olamide is presently the best Yoruba rapper. |
samsolite: JG camp rocks! probably the best in Nigeria. the only challenges are water of which they're really working on, and bed space due 2 insufficient number of bunks.November 21st, and they are still working on it. Story story o! |
binger: How can a guy do ALL THESE THINGS and not have the courage to tell u aloud: I Love You?...i'm perplexedFriend zoned. |
The shutdown on my line happened between 12:30pm and about 8pm on Tuesday, 18th. Coupled with the fact that there was no light in my area, it was very disturbing. I couldn't wait for the Champions' League matches to start! I had to switch over to MTN, it was then that I understood all the jokes about how poor MTN network is! They should issue an apology, but Airtel still remain the best for me. |
Organized religions will end this world before Uranium does. |
Mynd_44: ^^I used to have the same problem with UC Browser. You see, I never got the hang of it when I was satisfied with Opera Mini. The simple solution to the scrolling problem is to use the shortcut. Menu >Help >UC Help >Shortcuts. The shortcut for Scroll Down on my UC is the SpaceBar, Scroll Up is the Letter ‘T‘ , refresh is letter 'U' and so on. |
My Opera and I have a personal relationship, something I don't have with UC Browser. For the past 3 days, I've had no other choice than to stick to UC. Now, my concern is if Airtel could stop Opera Mini, what would prevent them from pulling the plug on UC Browser too? Maybe, just maybe, they want to introduce their own branded browsers too. |
