RichyBlacK: Don't have to bring sarcasm into a serious discussion. If you don't have anything to contribute beyond pedestrian sarcastic comments, then make you kukuma waka go! Sucks when someone debunks your stupid post, Sisikill: *Sigh*
How perfect the world would be if we all used an unrestricted social network to find out how things work!!
Never mind that some people can have more than one account or that some people aren't just into these kind things. . . Nope, those are by the ways, nothing of importance. Facebook says there are more Igbo than Yorubas and Hausa don't even exist and that is what we're going to go with gosh darn it!
It is Facebook! Duh! The original poster is perhaps a facebookaholic and believes everyone on earth should be too, |

dnex: @ edoyad just by the way, DANLADI is a Hausa name which means "a child born on Sunday" yet you say you're not Hausa. Who's the illiterate now? Please tell me if you're not the one who's backward afterall. There are many non-Hausa northerners who have Hausa names. If your parents name you Aminu, who are you to change it? |

debosky: The good?
wide open expanses of land, a lot of natural landscape in its pristine state. Friendly loving people. affordable food and great hospitality. Unexploited natural resources. Excellent agricultural land.
the bad?
backward thinking - regarding polio vaccine as some form of sterilization, leaving Nigeria as prime cause of world polio 'content' or unmotivated life style - people settle for less, and will make do with little, even if they deserve more - fuelling corruption of the powerful extreme case of blind loyalty, worse than anything you'll find in the South. Extreme illiteracy and poverty - again, worse than anything in the South. debosky how do you define illiteracy ? because many Hausa are literate in more than two languages, ? Or is literacy only comprehension in english? |

Kobojunkie: That explains much. Instead of focusing on the issues, we continue to vote the same "THIEVES" in to office, every election, before they are Africans. WOOHOO!!! ROFLMAO!! Obama is a thief? I dont get your statement. I would like to believe that any right minded Nigerian would support Obama because he is the right candidate for the job. I personally do not like conservative policies that create greater gaps between the rich and the poor, not good. |

Diversification is key. You need to create and target niche audiences that can patronize your business on a regular basis. I would say setting up an international call centre as well as a video gaming arcade on the premises would be ideal.
Also the use of a snack bar would be advantageous, just whatever you do make sure it is immaculate and can not be easily duplicated. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Uk Offers Nigeria Energy Help by JosBoy4Lif(m): 4:38am On Aug 23, 2008 |
4 Play: There is brilliant quote attributed to Sheikh Zaki Yamani, the Saudi oil minister in the 70s,“The Stone Age did not end for lack of stone, and the Oil Age will end long before the world runs out of oil.” Long before Nigeria runs out of oil,I suspect that the world will run out of the need for oil. Nigeria (in particular bight of guinea) will definitely run out of oil, but the world that is another question, I think that was what Yamani was referring to not Nigeria's depleting oil resources, FYI Canada has the largest oil resources in the world, to bad its mixed with sand and the process of removing the sand is costly. But as the price of oil increases after the world ravages countries like Nigerias the "smart countries will start producing more out put as the price of a barrel of oil sky rockets. The worlds dependency on oil is not going anywhere, think about the economies of the world. Do you know Exxon owns patents to water-running car engines |

Kobojunkie has a point. Unfortunately its the black mans curse through which he hates other black men. This problem of Tribalism does not stop on the borders of Nigeria, it is far reaching into North America as is also akin to our African American counterparts to hate each other.
Black man strong individually, catastrophic as a united front. |

Politics › Re: How Much More Can We Loose Because Of Niger Delta Militants In Naija by JosBoy4Lif(m): 4:12am On Aug 23, 2008 |
udezue: The militants are free to blow up as many oil installations as they want in their area and cut oil production to 0 after all its their land and environment that is getting destroyed while the parasitic Fulanis sit back doing nothing but leaching of off the resources in the South. They can either wake up from their laziness and start contributing to their region instead of reaping where they did not sow or freaking separate so we can all move on and carry on with our own issues. Separate? Nigeria will not separate, get that through the thick skull of yours. One who controls the military controls a nation, so basically all separatist attempts will be foiled, why not try a referendum or something . FYI you know that besides oil revenue, which accounts for 85% of Nigeria's GDP, the north produces 7% of the remaining GDP. |
