Jennypharb1: Remember that there is a portion in the application that says something like if you are unable to provide a document at the point of submission, you can provide evidence of having initiated the process of acquiring the document. I don't know if this only applies to medicals. So that he/she doesn't have to go back into the pool. So here's the thing, she's certain of getting ITA in the next draw. Why not decline and have everything ready so when you apply you sleep better at night? |

Swansy10: Hello house, I’m in a pickle right now. I got ITA Dec 19th and my 60 days would expire on Monday. I have all my documents except one PCC that I have not been able to get and I don’t think I would get it before Monday. The only reasonable option in my opinion now is to decline the invitation, go back to the pool and get the next ITA as CRS is 453. But I don’t know why my head is telling me to submit and raise a Csr in 2 weeks and add the PCC as it’s should be ready by then. What do you guys think?
@Ifeoma77 @joo @all seniors Given your high CRS, I'd decline the ITA if I were you. |

I have a TB that will mature second week of February, how ever i intend investing again for one year with a different amount well above what is required for EE. My question is can i submit this new certificate(less than six months investment ), giving the fact that i will probably get an ITA next month Yes you can submit the new one provided it's up to the POF amount |

jjohndoe83: Are you sure about this. I have not been able to find any official statement on this. I am not sure about this. However, here is something I'm sure of: you have no idea what date your background/eligibility checks would be carried out. What if the confirmation to the internal control of your bank reaches them after you've pulled the money out and the human replying states the account balance of the day you submitted AND the day you've reduced your POF, what will you do? Just keep the money in some place where it at least earns some interest for you. Regards, Josefuadjr |

jjohndoe83: Please sir, can you confirm whether during this Post - AOR period all my POF must still be locked in my account or I am free to deal with it provided I do not go below the required threshold or I can cought it up when required? I'm wondering how I'll be looking at 4 million plus for seven months or so. Yes your POF must be in the account. You can invest it in mutual funds or tbills so it gains interest |

Kambols95: Congratulations to the house members that newly got their PPR, COPR, ITA. I'm so proud to be part of this gathering of ambitious people.
At the same time, i need to say this to the house that i'm a bit scared about this program because i applied for a b1/b2 tourist visa(USA) for my family last year. We(myself, wife and a kid) went for the visa interview at walter carrington around June but unfortunately we were not given. I do not want my effort on this PR thing to be in vain, the more reason i need to be sure my usa visa denial will not in any way affect this lovely program i am about to embark on.
Secondly, I am a Builder by profession. I have B.sc and a PGD in Civil Engr. I am professionally certified with NIOB(Nigerian Institute of Building). I remember reading it somewhere that a msc is equivalent to the professional qualification. My question is: Which is going to earn me more point(s), PGD or the professional certificate. I will be the principal applicant.
Over to my learned members in the house. Thanks in anticipation People have gotten PPR with multiple visa denials. Just state it in the form Post-ITA. Use your BSc and PGD for two or more certificates. Finally, please get acquainted with page 1, all the answers you seek are there. |

Harjibode: I am Ajibode Jamiu, I have an ND & HND in Building Technology. Since this Express entry wahala plenty like this, I was thinking of enrolling for College of the North Atlantic, thereby I will be able to continue the processes when I get there, I was thinking it would be easier when one is in Canada than doing it from here.
Have been thinking about it all night, I wouldn't mind college so far it's for a purpose. To get the Permanent Resident, I checked all the requirements already and am fine... Will be going for Civil Engineering Technology since I have my background in Building Technology. I don't know if anyone is thinking alike, and also the fees isn't too bad for International student, what I don't know is if I can get work permit too Ajibode, First, cross out your real name. Secondly, are you here for open work permit, student visa or FSW? Where is the question? Regards, Josefuadjr |
