TheKingIsHere: To be honest, this year is Disney's year. You can't take it from them
1. Captain marvel. -- $1bn+ 2. Endgame $2.78bn+ 3. Aladdin -- $1bn+ 4. Lion king -- $1bn+ currently 5. Toy story -- $920m almost a billion 6. Star wars. -- potential $1bn+
No movie studio can beat this feat this year, so it's Disney's year.
So they're saying even Kim Kardashian and her family don't even measure up to this guy. Na wa oh. When Wizkid said "my money and your money no be mate" him sef don see something.
KoiceReloaded: A theory is something that is not proven, a fact is something that is proven. A zebra killing a lion is a fact cuz it has been proven to occur. Kapish?
a fact is something that is proven base on repeated occurrence, not a once in a life time happening.
mekaprime: Lolz, my man chill. IT HAPPENS is simply a possibility & never a matter of fact. It only becomes a FACT if its repeatable or occurs regularly.
mekaprime: If I may interject, i think the right word should be possible/possibility & not fact. Generalization can't be made based on very few abnormalities. I concur with you.
yes you may, my good man.
Think about it this way, the greatest weapon ever created by the human race the a nuclear bomb, and we have a monster that is immune to it, in fact, that monster isn't only immune to it, but draws it's strength from it and you're telling me a giant monkey can defeat it?
Tell me, in the history of King Kong, have the U.S army ever launched a nuclear warhead at it?
If you've watched Godzilla: king of the monsters. Godzilla took the full blast of a nuclear war head and not only survived it, but was rejuvenated and revenerated by it. The question now is, can King Kong take that full blast and survive it?
KoiceReloaded: The operative word here being: [/b]IT HAPPENS.[/b]
Since it happens, it's a matter of fact, factual, documentary, objective, true...
I mean, as per the bolded, you contradicted yourself, even if you don't even know it.
I don't care if it's a regular occurrence, the fact is, IT HAPPENS.
The End.
the bolded makes it seem/sound like a regular occurrence, that's it happens more than once. So please provide another YouTube link aside the one you provided.
KoiceReloaded: I'm forcing myself to remain calm here. I dunno if you're trolling like JeromeBlack, or being unironic.
Anyhoo, like I said earlier, nothing is definite in life. Nothing is set in stone, anything can happen. There is a saying that goes thus, "bush meat don catch the hunter" or something like that, that supports this.
There could be several other events of Zebras killing a Lion or a big cat that went undocumented. For all we know, it could be a common occurrence. After all, Water Buffaloes (Lion's favorite prey) are known to chase, and kill the occasionally Lion. It is what it is.
It's a jungle out there, a survival of the fittest like Darwin so eloquently put it.
like I said, such happens once in a blue moon. It's never a regular occurrence like watching a lion tear a zebra or buffalo, limb from limb. Or how many times have you watched in Nat Geo Wild a zebra killing a lion?
Dude, your example is the same as the popular saying "everyday for the thief, one day for the owner". Which happens once in a blue moon.
The fact that it happens once, doesn't make it a regular occurrence bro.
KoiceReloaded: How? You said physically, Kong can never beat Godzilla because he's weaker, no? I used a widelife incident whereby a much weaker Zebra is recorded drowning a Lion, to refute your assertions. So, tell me, how is my illustration flawed?
physically how many Zebras can overpower a lion? You don't just take a single case and call it fact. So, like I said, Godzilla and Kong are two very different and unique animals.
KoiceReloaded: I used it to illustrate something to you, and you're here asking me how many times a zebra has killed a lion? You're asking the wrong questions, fella.
KoiceReloaded: In life there are no definites. A Lion is expected to kill a Zebra easily enough, but then, sometimes, you'll have a situation as was documented in this YouTube video below.
KoiceReloaded: Bro, I no get time for blind argument. An evidence of Kong beating Godzilla in the past was shown to you. If you like, believe, or, don't... it's your headache, not mine.
I understand. But if you check their powers, there's no way Kong can defeat Godzilla. The writers in their bias just want Kong to win, after all, it's not like Godzilla is stupid or something.
mekaprime: As regards the atomic ray, all kong has to do is to leap and dodge (he's fast remember) & keep a clear distance between Godzilla & himself. Then look for a way to disable Godzilla's ray, same way he did in the 1961 movie as it charges to fire. With the ray disabled, he goes for the brain through the eyes, that should do the trick( that was how Godzilla was almost once defeated in the animated series). Kong might be an overgrown monkey, but let's not forget his very smart, far more smart than Godzilla. The possibility of Kong ending Godzilla is slim, but it possible, just that he might die doing so. All these are just my opinion though, who wins the fight solely rests with the writers. If they want Kong to win, then they'll add new abilities to him, so as to guarantee he wins.
If you say Kizz used to look ugly and at the same time like the present day Simi when he was in a relationship with poverty, you are indirectly saying Simi is Ugly.
mekaprime: Not necessarily, Kong is not done growing yet. Skull Island takes place in 1973 and Godzilla vs. Kong will assumedly take place in 2020 that gives Kong a whole 47 years to catch up to Godzilla, as regards size. As long as they are willing to follow up on the above(make Kong as big as Godzilla), Kong will definitely have the upper hand against Godzilla. Because on like Godzilla who relies basically on brute force and mostly instinct, Kong thinks like a human, is very smart, has the ability to strategize, can adapt and turn a bad situation towards his favor & finally has an impressive physical strength. With all this, am confident he can take down Godzilla.
what defense does Kong have against that stuff that comes out of Godzilla's mouth?
Never forget Godzilla is armour plated. He can withstand a full nuclear blast. He practically feeds on radiation. Can same be same of Kong, who is just an overgrown monkey.
In terms of speed and maneuverability, I give it to Kong, but strength, Godzilla got it. Though I want to see how it will play out even though I believe it might not happen because they both protect life.
