still don't get it, asides being a vigilante, how different is Batman's mission from the cops? The cops/police under some circumstance shoot to kill if they reasonably fear for their lives(self defense) or the safety of others.

the difference is the cops sometimes quit a case if there's no lead. But with Batman, he doesn't. Aside his wealth and gadget, one of his greatest super power is he doesn't give up. He's very very strong willed. It's among the reason why it's very difficult to hypnotize him.

Also the cops operate within the rules and regulation, he doesn't. Where the cops can't break and enter a residence without a warrant, Batman can. How many cops do you know who would gladly jump in front of a bullet just to save a life? Batman will. That's the differences.

At the bolded, this is were self control comes to play, the Bruce Wayne i know made himself Batman through self-control. But be it known to you that him not killing The Joker for whatever valid excuse he has, makes him responsible for each individual killed by the joker, because he has the power to end it yet, he chose to do nothing, so he's kinda contradicting what he stands for.

this is where many people make mistake. There is no Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne died the day his parents were killed. Batman is what exist Bruce Wayne is the facade batman use to keep people distracted.

As regard your second point. There's something about playing judge, jury and executioner. That's something batman doesn't do. His mission is to stop the crime/criminals not kill them.

That's what makes him Batman. I also believe he has a valid excuse of not killing. Think about it, a batman who kills, someone as dark as him would be a danger to everybody around him. Even the Justice League won't be able to stop him.

The flick was very good. From the visuals, the writing, the music to the voice acting, all played out well in making the flick a highly enjoyable one. Damn, how i wish commissioner Gordon just let Batman break his code this once, dude was this close to ending the Joker, am just so fed up of his strict adherence to this code of his.

if Batman breaks his code he'll be a DC punisher. He explained this in Batman: Under the red hood.

Weird animation.... The Animation at the beginning was different from the animation at the end, Bruce Wayne at the beginning was different from Bruce Wayne at the end.... the whole thing was just confusing... Still don't get what the plot was...
