Poems For ReviewRe: The Postmann Who Isn't A Postman. by joseph1832(op): 4:01pm On May 26, 2016
postmann:
grin grin grin

My life, my creed, my hope
The flesh, the pride, the grope
The stumble, the stuttering, the fall
The truth; the height of divinity's call
In wrath, in joy, the whisper of flesh
The essence, the dwindling, the cash
The tributes of men, the fame, the game
Heaven's doors narrow the eternal gain
I am but flesh and blood-- a man
The struggle of the complexity of postmann
Should this be titled The Trials And Travails Of Postmann? Sounds a little corny though.. LOL. grin

Poems For ReviewRe: The Postmann Who Isn't A Postman. by joseph1832(op):
Content Analysis Of The Poem.

The poem concern a Nairaland moniker, who is known for his excellent writing skills, and careful use words to convey his message, which most times, seems extreme to those who aren't deep in their reasoning. Aside sounding intelligent, the moniker possess a very subtle type of poetry skill which usually leaves his female admirers speechless.

The moniker is also known to some particular Nairaland female monikers to be a chauvinist, as each time matters concerning the home is debated, he never find fault with the man, as he believe a woman is suppose to worship a man. This usually gives him the air of superiority which these female monikers find annoying (to say the least).

The moniker is also known to be repulsed by feminism/feminist as well as anything that has to do with LGBT. The moniker is well known to have used well crafted words on these set of people that usually leaves them running with their tail between their legs. The way the moniker exchange words with female monikers span for days and its usually very comical, often times, makes him sound righteous.

Structure Of The Poem.

The poem is a single stanza poem, written in two couplet form, combine together making it a qua train. The poem is written in no particular feet or meter length.

The poem has the rhyme scheme of AABB. This particular structure of poem is known as the Clerihew poem.

Poetic Device(s):

End-Stopped Line: Used at the end of every line in the poem.

Understatement: Used in line 2 of the poem.

Overstatement: Used in line 3 of the poem.

Sarcasm: Used in line 4 of the poem.

Bought the Dan Vinci code but the first three pages bored me, how interesting is it again?
Very interesting, as it is illuminating. That is, if you want to read about how modern day christianity was orchestrated by a bunch of business men/man who solely seek to use it as a form of control.

The Da Vinci Code is still one of Dan Brown's finest work of literature. You can also read Angels and Demons.

I've read every book Dan Brown wrote. He knows how to really tell a tale. Lol.

I know, I thought the power wud be something different from the law of attraction, but it seemed like twas saying d same thing but a from perspective.
Perspective is what it is, as what applies to you, doesn't really apply to me. Remember this saying, "we all look, but see differently". That's what The Law Of Attraction simply is, the same law, but different perspective.

GSKing:
Right from this post, I expected nothing less than mind-boggling, unintelligent and incoherent foolish talks, but alas, you put yourself way below than I expected, every single thing you posted on this thread showed how much of a breathing confusion you are. I was expecting the worst, but young man, you're still learning and coming up.

Your heteronormative thoughts and heterosexist posts showed how much of a dunce you are. It's obvious you had fun typing away endlessly, half-expecting yourself to make sense, half-expecting your post to cause commotion, laughing at your own posts before clicking the send button, but alas, there we have it, all your blatherings amounted to a single word - HOMOPHOBIA. No matter how little, no matter how mild, no matter how subtle, no matter how pronounced, homophobia is homophobia. But hey, I guess you didn't understand the concept of that word before now, glad to be pointing it out to you. Your first attempt at bigotery anywhere on and offline got me quoting your post, I'm happy to help you celebrate.

Young man, I type this, not shaking my head, not feeling sorry for you, not angry at you, not an ounce of emotion lost on typing, I type this, knowing fully well I'm as well wasting my precious post and time addressing your ground-zero IQ. But still, I would tell you something, do not, for a second, delude yourself into thinking you're wise and superior, do not, for a second, make the mistake of telling yourself, you're good at mind games, cos it is crystal clear that you're a catastrophic disaster in the world of intelligent minds.

You thought someone like Audray, maybe, all lesbians, and probably all females have atomic brains and can't see through your less-than-significant, desperately-trying to-be-relevant, attention-seeking, completely-unintelligent writings. I will have you know you succeeded. Succeeded in making noise, like vibrations from my battery-powered toothbrush. But keep trying though, hopefully, someone will pay some semblance of attention to your little blatherings someday, which Sir, is not today.

Oh hey, you should read more on Auras and Chakra, those posts of yours almost made me burn my certificates, how you can twist something you don't understand, ultimately reduced my brain functionality while trying to make some sense of what you wrote. I take it that's your first time sounding smart and it's just an innocent mistake.

It wouldn't be condoned the next time you compose jumbled trash and dump on innocent people of Nairaland.

Arigatou.
The emboldened got my attention. Telling one to read on Auras and chakras without practicing, (which I know you don't) is like telling them to continue with ignorance.

I'm sure you know there is a big difference between reading and learning, than reading alone.

Perhaps, you should have told him to read more on reaitsu, yoki, and nen so we'll know you read mangas and watch animes. tongue

Everything, as it relates to Rhonda Bryne, revolves round The Secret and The Law of Attraction.

Depends on the perfume merchant. A certain type of perfume sold by a certain group of ppl which got it nicknamed after them can be nauseating... one spray stays on u d whole month.

Feminine perf is usually not as strong as that of the men so I wonder wat the lady u met soaked herself in..
Probably with those perfs from our brothers in the north. Lol. (No offense intended)

I'm really not a fan of cologne, deodorant is very okay for me. One of my many phobia is having a smelling arm pit. Men that's the greatest turn off for me.

48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, All James Hadley Chase's books, The Secret by Bryne Rhonda, The Prince and The Mafia Manager by Nicollo Machiavelli.
Point of correction. The Mafia Manager was written by V. Last I checked, no one knows who he is/was.

I got this quote from Al Capone from that book: "You can get a lot more done with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone".

This quote has been stuck in my heard since then...

Lol. What you have been trying to say this WHOLE time is that you believe that I'm a femme (google it).I highly doubt that.I am not a sucker for labels. Butch, femme, domme, sub. An all that. I'm spontaneous,I could b anything at anytime.
Duh...I'll speak out here cos I can.I remain voiceless and unseen on the outside cos its what ur savage crew wants. Don't worry though...it's but a matter of time and this isn't the only site I'm out on. Also double check on the word: Clone.
If you truly believe the embolden, then you'll believe absolutely anything. Never get your hopes up on something that can never, ever be, especially in a country as religiously hypocritical and backward traditional like Nigeria.

Then they should make the streets safer instead of discriminating. After all men will still suffer from the unsafe streets. Its not fair to men to suffer alone. I don't believe in witches, that's crap! Are you saying night doctors and nurses are also negative people.
Exactly my point! When has the nigerian law ever stopped anyone from doing what that person wants to do?

I hope you remember smoking and possessing weed is a crime here, and its banned, but tell me, don't people smoke them indiscriminately? Hope you get my point?
