pryncexcel: @toks 2008,nice one! Please let me use this opportunity to add to what you have just writing out there.the removal of subsidy at this point in time is one of the best thing the president has done. It will give room for foreign investors to come and build more refines and equally create job opportunities for this great country. using GSM as a case study, when it was newly initiated, line was sold for 30k-28k bet, with the emerging of other network like etisalat, glo, airtel mtn etc today line are now sold for one hundred naira.please let applaud Mr president for once he has shown that he truly wants the betterment of this great country. by not the valuing the naira....learn to pray for the direction of this great country... In the mean time, what will happen to that man who has to pay twice the amount he pays to work everyday? |

MNDY: Those countries provided the basic amenities (and advanced) by judiciously using the subsidy removal's monies after passing through a very painful sacrifice stage when the subsidy was removed initially You shouldn't use advance countries as a basis for comparison here. You forget that these countries have shown an unending penchant for knowing what they're doing, in terms of implementing policies meant for improving the lives of their citizens. On the certainty of the judicious use (and not heinous loot) of the fuel subsidy monies in Nigeria's case, Buhari's zero-tolerance for corruption would ensure the judicious use of the monies! What results have PMB's sub zero tolerance for corruption yielded, its almost a year now and nothing we've sEen so far as resulted in the imprisonment of those who looted and squandered our common wealth. You should know that PMB is just one man, in the midst of many men who live, wine and dine in corruption. The need for increased minimum wage to match conditions cannot be overemphasized! True that! But still, you expect the governors who can't pay 18k minimum wage to pay this recent increment (if there is). Our say this fuel subsidy removal came at the wrongest of time. It the government is proving day by day that they don't know what they're doing, neither do they know and understand the suffering of the masses. |

mars123: it is not easy to do business in Nigeria especially when government is involved. so what the government is doing now is to remove its hand from the control of the business of petroleum importation and distribution since it doesn't refine Nigeria's total consumption. Therefore there will be competition amongst distributors for cheaper sales which will reduce price overtime. In the meantime there is a sure banker that petrol will sell for far less before 2019.
I am someone who naturally can endure for a better day ahead so I won't be joining you guys marching in the streets. Surely, the emboldened makes you no different from our politicians who believe they can withstand the harshiest of economic condition, while they look and laugh at the masses when they suffer. The question any sane mind should be asking is: how will the masses survive before things get better? You expect someone who earns 30k per month to endure tiLl 2019? When price of transportation will increase as well as cost of living? Come on men... |

Toks2008, all what you're saying is just merry go round. I'm sure you know when the price of petrol goes up, everything goes up as well.
So, what I'm asking is how will nigerians cope when the price of commodities goes up in the market, when they can not even afford these commodities in the first place? |

I believe the proper approach should be how much does these food items cost in the market, and how much does it take for one to prepare a good pot of soup. |

I'll say it all depend on the individual. What applies to you, doesn't necessarily apply to me or someone else.
Happiness, as I've come to know it, doesn't have the same interpretation for many people. Some people might quarrel everyday, and yet, they're happy, while some don't quarrel at all and yet, they're still happy.
So, like I said above, its purely relative.

This is among the reason why I always advice couples to be free minded, and also to be proud of their sexuality.
OP. I'll advice you to sit down and speak with her, open up and tell her your mind, not in a disrespectful way, but in a gentle way. Let her know your feelings, and yearning. If you guys are the type who engage in MouthAction, then by all means, if she doesn't want penetrative sex, then may be MouthAction would be okay. And if the answer is still no, then my friend, I believe the onus falls on you. I'll advice you to _masturbate (no offense intended) its way better than even thinking of cheating on her, than cheating on her.
Don't let societal norm and religious doctrine and dogma delude you. Its your marriage, and you have it in your hands.
This is my humble advice. |
