Fynestboi: Hmmmmmm mm agreed. This is why I've always told you to maintain a stand, and never deviate. Deviating has now casted aspersions on you. |

Masonic: Menn! How low people can sink just for an online pageant. Well I wouldn't know. But if people can sell their votes for 2cups of rice in real life, I'd not be surprised people will do far worse online. |

Fynestboi: Come on, son of Mark, if only I can screenshot my whatsapp chat with my team, organizing the interview I would have, when she replied, I was like is this a cover letter or just a comment, that was why one of the team member asked her a question in line with what she answered. Go back and check.
OK you are expecting to say what? Dude, you should have told her point blank that she was wrong, rather than say 'nice'. Simple. |

TheSonOfMark: Joe, the big question is, why did Fynestboi pass it along as the right thing? Why did he keep playing blind to Lanicky's wrong answers while he keep making Demiladegold, Refiner and Optional1 look bad? He was deliberately influencing public opinion so it was up to you, I and other discerning persons to call him out and alert the viewing public of his ploy. Well may be because he doesn't know any better. I believe he focused on the content of what was written, rather than the format of which it was written. |

TheSonOfMark: Whatelse do you expect from a chameleon? That's the thing, I've learnt never to expect anything from nigerians, especially nigerians I don't know in person. |

Masonic: My broda I've just been laughing here since. These people must think nairalanders are sheeps Well, considering the fact that majority of nigerians are half wits, and nairaland comprises of the minds of some nigerians, I wouldn't say they're far from thinking that way. |

TheSonOfMark: They think they can fool everyone.
Same Lanicky who's never spontaneous and who's comment history is riddled with monosyllabic comments like "lol" , "sup", "smh" and the likes suddenly replies Fynestboi's question about a cover letter by 8.00PM in ten minutes. Ten minutes, ladies and gentlemen. What's more with about one hundred and forty words even though she got it in wrong.
If ESTHARFABIAN had replied quasi-articulately with that speed, no-one would have doubted it. Hate Esthar or love her but you'd agree she's as spontaneous as she's controversial.
Bro, you really didn't expect a 100 level student to know how to write a cover letter do you? If she had written it, I would have known someone helped her out, but since she proved she don't even know how to write it, I'd say she answered the question correctly. You'd be amaze how many undergraduate can not pen a simple informal letter. |

MasterBaiter: Who gives a fúck about ur opinion? Saying I was offended implies I actually cared to begin with. But let me humor u for a bit. So you knew very little about the political-cum-religious workings of our country but still went on a hate-filled tirade about it.....angering more than a few people in the process. You opened this thread over a year ago, lineG before this miss NL thing came along & they say a person's true character is on display when people are not watching. Tell me,is this ur idea of promoting unity ? and u'll have me believe ur myopia & intolerance has suddenly been cured by some magic drug? Chill out bruv. No need to go all offensive. |

Education › Re: Senate Moves To Criminalize Lecturers, Students Sexual Relationships. by joseph1832(m): 9:49pm On May 04, 2016 |
Instead of this bill, why didn't the senate pass a bill to ban lecturers from selling handout and collecting money for 'blocking'.
I believe when too consenting adults have sexual relations, its no bodies business, as long as the lecturer is not harassing the student sexually. |
