PoliticsRe: Omicron Variant: Lai Mohammed Reacts To Britian's Travel Ban On Nigeria by Joshbull: 5:26pm On Dec 06, 2021
I’m almost certain Lying Mohammed is fighting for himself and the political elite. He made a statement that some countries used their affiliation/connection and wealth to secure vaccines twice the size of their population. The reason they were able to do that is because they invested over time and didn’t steal their common wealth dry. They took corruption seriously and made sure it didn’t penetrate the fabric of their various countries. His likes have destroyed this country and are now crying foul when treated badly. The same way humans respect wealthy people and are friends with other wealthy people is the same way countries respect wealthy countries and are friends with fellow wealthy countries. If Nigeria wants to be respected by the international community, she should build wealth and block all avenues of corruption.

I hope he is not making mistake....

I remember when I was robbed back then in school at about 2am in my house..

In the morning while I was on my way to school ,any tall black guy I saw on the way to school that day resemble the thieves that robbed me..

Emotions can be deceptive attimes
that’s a different scenario you painted. Robbery can occur in minutes, even seconds. They rob you and leave. Kidnapping on the other hand, you get to spend time with them, days, or even weeks sometimes. Even though both are traumatic experiences, kidnapping could be worse and the image of the kidnappers might be embedded in your brain for so long. If she did point out the kidnapper at the bank, I doubt she could be wrong unless there’s some other motive involved.

Anyone calling these people bandits is part of the problem. Call them what they are, Jihadist terrorists. Giving them a name so that our minds can rest a little is doing us no good. Call them what they are. TERRORISTS.

And what is wrong if she quits the marriage?

Why are you bothered? What ideas are you looking for?

A contract has been breached and it’s only right you terminate it.
someone from a humble background, with two kids and without a job, will you be the one to fend for her and her kids ? She had to first get herself together by putting herself in the position to take care of her kids and herself before she ever considers leaving the marriage. The moment she leaves without doing that, she’ll come back with her tail in between her legs to beg and trust me, the man may not listen cause his baby mama might move to the house. Shay she doesn’t want to have senses and be diplomatic and plan well before leaving.

You call them bandits, we know they are religious terrorists, AkA Boko haram. If the so called bandits can have the effrontery to come into a military barracks to kidnap officers, isn’t this worse than Afghanistan ?

A big war is looming!

Is this on purpose?
Nothing the western world does is without calculations. All what you read and hear in the news is what they want you to know. This is another way to justify invading the Middle East in the coming years. Trust me, some of these weapons will find their way into the hands of other terrorist organizations domiciled in other countries, especially countries with porous borders like Nigeria. Terrorism has a network and no country is terrorism proof. Africa and the Middle East is about to feel the wrath of the menace of the west and they fell into the trap that has been intentionally created. So… I do agree with you, a big war is looming and Africa and the Middle East will be the testing ground for new terrible and precision weapons the world is yet to hear about. These weapons are non nuclear or chemical but they will cause destruction of unimaginable proportions. These things are done to keep both continents in check so they don’t develop and grow beyond needing the crumbs the west throws at them in the name of aid. They need these continents for their raw materials but they want to be the ones to explore, exploit and set prices. Some countries develop in times of war since necessity is the mother of invention but some countries will only regress when there’s no peace.
EducationRe: Cut-Off Marks Into Unity Schools: 134 For South-East, Anambra 139, 2 For Zamfara by Joshbull: 2:28pm On Jul 06, 2021
If this is true which I’m already 90% sure it is due to the track records. Then this is just one of the reasons why some people are of the opinion that Nigeria as an entity shouldn’t be forced to be together. I don’t blame those who want the country to split. Imagine such disparity, they eventually chun out dimwits whose Iq is just at per with that of a cow and these will be the people to make laws and govern a country in future.

What does this tell you if it’s true ? It simply means that the federal government is directly complicit in the activities of Boko haram. I’d they can arrest Nnamdi Kanu outside the shores of Nigeria, how come they can’t trace and arrest terrorist leaders ?

China doesn’t allow any room for religion in it’s society and a lot of people abhor that or think that’s an infringement on the right to practice religion. I see it the other way round, The Chinese civilization is an old one and they’ve learned from history which has repeated itself over and over again.

PoliticsRe: We Won’t Return To North - Fulani Herdsmen In South To Northern Elders by Joshbull: 5:09pm On Feb 22, 2021
There’s a solution to this issue even though it might not sound too good. There are 4 characters involved. The farmers, the farm, the herders and the cattle. If farm produce is destroyed, it’s a great loss but can always be regained. The time, money and man power put into it cannot be over emphasized. If on the other hand life’s of farmers and host communities are lost as a result of herders activities, that can never be regained. Let’s say these cattle’s are all killed when sighted, they will become manure to the farms and there won’t be any reason for herders to stay. Since there can’t be lasting peace between this characters, it’s best one of the characters is eliminated. Land will always remain, even if it’s burnt, it will always be there. However, human lives, both of farmers and herders are more precious. These leaves us to the last character, the cattle. Please take the cattle out of the equation so humans can live. Although the situation is much more deeper than just the aforementioned characters, there’s the politics involved and the so called Fulani agenda, at least let’s start from somewhere. We won’t die if we don’t eat cow meat.

Do you realize the fucking that but about the procreation of these four kids was done 9 months prior ? You’re here complaining after the deed had been done. I understand where you’re coming from as regards family planning, I agree with you that it is necessary but what I don’t understand is the complaint about the fucking because that one is hypocritical. A lot of you complaining about the fucking Bleep more, though some are very smart about protecting themselves from unwanted pregnancies and diseases, some enjoy the unprotected sex so much and just result into termination of the pregnancies. I’m referring to both genders by the way cause they are equally responsible for pregnancies.

He is smart, people don’t realize this is a strategy that has worked a lot of times, the hospital probably gave him the advice knowing that politicians and even the governor might see this as an opportunity to show their benevolence. They might show up to show support to a helpless woman and he’ll come back to be reunited to his dear wife. He might get job offers and she, gifts of money and baby things. It’s a win win situation, the politicians and and people who want to be seen by the society as benevolent will score political points and the non political will get some exposure and the hospital staffs might get something too, everybody wins.

FamilyRe: Why Did He Do This? I Need To Understand Why Some Act This Way. Is It Right? by Joshbull: 2:06pm On Nov 18, 2020
CalliDora1:
Long post. Please bear with me.

This trait seems to be common among some Nairaland men (with apologies to all the men here though) cos I never really experienced such attitude with men ive met offline. So don't know whether they have a nairaland men's association (not the red pillars or mgtow kinda thing though) where they agree to behave likesome. The way they reason sometimes just baffles me.

Ok. So, I met someone here as a friend and I wanted it to stay that way. Along the line, he wanted more than just friendship but I just kept dodging because I don't want any issues as he's a good friend (a born again) and I like our friendly chats and all that. So didn't want anything serious that could jeopardize that but he kept pressing on and stressing until I naturally began to feel relaxed (against my wish) you know how that constant checking on someone tends to make one want to compromise their Stance. So I sort of got trapped.

Now here's the issue. He would always want to know about my biz and job. If I went or not. So I decided to test him. He would always call and ask if I've eaten. So that day, I said no (was fasting) but didn't want to divulge it to him that I was fasting. He called later in the day and asked again, I said I've not eaten, he dropped. I now felt he prolly thought I wanted him to feed me huh??.. I observed he reduced his calls. Third day he called and asked again, I said no. And he said "na wa o" I was like why, he said I'm sorry I can't help. Huh?? I don't remember asking him so I decided to play along. He called in the evening, I still said I've not eaten ( cos I had not broken my fast then) and he said I'm sorry ( I was just laughing within). I asked him, for what? he said because he couldn't help. And since then he stopped calling only to chat after a week to ask if the biz I was pursuing was through. I ignored him and for two months no contact.

Just last night he chatted me up again asking if I've resumed work and I said yes. he then asked if he's free to call me bla bla. And since last night hes been trying to keep up chats but I'm kinda cold towards him and he asked why I'm so cold. Acting like nothing happened.

Now, this is what I feel. so if someone is truly dying of hunger (God forbid) you'll abandon the fellow? or that they can't date someone who's biz is shaky or has not resumed work due to a global crises that affected everyone? I'm not saying anybody should carry someone else's burden ( there was really no burden anywhere as God has been faithful.) but I don't understand what actually played out there and why he's all of a sudden interested again after learning I've resumed work. I don't just understand because I don't want to be rude. Was that a right thing?

I'm really confused here because.. I mean.. I never asked you to help me with anything but being there would have been enough. Calling and chatting would have helped me scale through the bordom I felt that period of compulsory break from work and biz but he went into Oblivion even when I never placed any demands on him.

I bow to men and the way they reason o.
Let your heels be touching the back of your head as you run my dear. Sounds like he’s up to no good. If it happened just had you stated, then end it all.
PoliticsRe: CNN Confirms That #EndSARS Lekki Massacre Happened by Joshbull: 12:57pm On Nov 18, 2020

I dont need the facts from the military... The evidence from Switch is enough and even the two videos showed that bullets were not discriminately fored into protesters> It is obvious! The army is not the problem here - we should shift our focus to the protest and mourn the dead and hail them as martyrs, But there was no Massacre - some many days after incident, we are still talking about maybe 7 and some missing peoplehuh

Army said they fired blanks - I believe that they fired some blanks and CNN did not even say they did not... The MASSACRE conspiracists are the ones that have to prove there was one - that is what happens in court!

We have bad governance and that is the real issue - not Lekki!
Unfortunately, this is one of the people that will always fall victim of Nigerian government by choice. Some fall victim but don’t have any choice but some just choose not to reason. I’ll point out just one thing which has been ongoing for years till date. This same Nigerian Military that has killed Shekarau 5 times and counting and would probably kill him 5 more times is the same Military you chose it’s side over victims. Try to start thinking beyond what you’re told, it will go a long way.
PoliticsRe: CNN Confirms That #EndSARS Lekki Massacre Happened by Joshbull: 12:50pm On Nov 18, 2020
So.. there are actually people who think the Lekki massacre never happened ? This set of people are the daft people of Nigeria who have never reasoned beyond the Narrative the Nigerian government paints to them. Most of these set of people, since their birth, there is nothing the Nigerian government had said it would do and it actually did it right. The same government that has killed Boko haram’s Shekarau 5 times and counting, the same government that his palliatives and still fight the people over it after it had been discovered, the same government that steals the peoples common wealth with reckless abandon is the same government you will believe over eye witnesses and victims. Believe the Nigerian government at your own peril. Other countries and its citizens aren’t as stupid as ours are, they investigate and bring the truth into line light.
